Jlaw1: Good day, house. Please, I need details about availability of jobs in Hull, especially for students.
Also, what is the job market in the UK in general for people with MSc. in Environmental Sciences or Environmental courses in general.
@justwise, @lexusgs430, @lagosismyhome, @guyfromHR etc. and all the knowledgeable people on here.
Thanks a lot. Start from checking if it's on the Skilled occupation list.. That should give you somewhere to start from |

Confusedgirlie: I knew him before leaving the country. He was in Nigeria and was doing quite okay, even though I was earning more than him.
We separated for a while since I wanted to focus a little on my new life. But recently, we connected again. I'm just realizing I still have something for him in spite of the time and distance. But I'm really confused about starting anything because it will mean that I have to bring him over
What are the chances he won't take advantage of me? Women will never be equal to men The way they even think sef is very different which is why you will see that 99.9% of the time, its the man who brings the woman over abroad and not the other way round smh A man will never look at a womans pocket and the likelihood of her slying him before bringing her over, or the costs involved with it but you see women ehn! |

giselle237: ask them to go on the NIS portal for applicants in Nigeria. There is a link for correction of data with all the necessary information and documents to provide. It is upto date with information. If it is just one letter missing or needing correction it is free .. anything more is admin fee of 30k The person should not have signed for it. Next time look at all before collecting. It should ideally have been returned immediately it was noticed at the desk. Thanks, I appreciate I'll let them know. I did see a link online for correction which I posted earlier but I'm not certain it's the right one - https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/requestKindly help confirm It was collected a few years ago and the error wasn't noticed, sadly |

hustla: Good Morning everyone!
Please who has ever has to correct name error issues on their passport? Name was misspelled and was only just discovered now (just one letter)
How much did it cost, where was it done and how long did it take?
Will it cause issues if the owner goes ahead to use it for visa application?
I saw this link on immigration's website but you know how Nigeria is
https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/request Please o Anyone with ideas |

Walexwal: They won't attend to your application at the embassy. All you have got to do is to change it through NIN registration (There is an office few metres from our embassy). I think I paid £45 for the correction. It will take about two weeks to come out so you can factor this time into the time you want to go for your renewal appointment. Thanks for the reply, Said person is in Nigeria The name on the NIN slip she has is correct, the one on the passport is the one misspelled, an error from the passport office even after all the hand filled forms smh If she submits her NIN slip along with the passport now, will it be corrected? |

leef2022: You don sabi who be Suella!!!!?? "We’ve had a massive increase in the number of students coming into this country.
Students are a great thing because they are coming here to study and get skills… I do think we do get to a point where we have to look at some of the courses that people are doing in this country, some of the institutions, they are not always very good quality.
“I think it’s legitimate to question whether that is going to serve our economic objectives, and taking a more discerning, smart approach to the number of student visas I think is highly consistent with our agenda for growth.” Can't fault what she's saying |
