Its easy for us all to justify these senseless killing by tagging them IPOB, Igbo, Biafra or any other name we are comfortable with. We should remember they are first of all humans. They should not be slaughtered for no just reason. If confirmed terrorist. The boko haram soldiers are being given amnesty. Then we should not kill these guys like this. |
350 for a car? That's a tough one. But if you must buy a car and that's what you have, look for either of the following; Nissan Sunny, Golf3, Mitsubishi Carisma, Corolla 99,Carina E or Micra. |
2cribz:Naija used 406? you wan send am back to village. |
myBraine:If you or someone close to you have not had a sad experience with SARS officials, please do not comment on the issue. |
With the student, it was football, there is only one thing I use to do once am on the field; dribble. I don't want to score, I dont want to pass I don't want my team to win. I just want to dribble others embarrass them, and enjoy myself. Its was a common sight to see my teammates attacking me so they can collect the ball guess what? I still dribble them join. Sustained lots of injury too. Lots of crazy memories. All the guys have sworn never to choose me but the next day they will still choose me. I dont even know why. |
Ayed44:Well you might be right. |
Musiliu Obanikoro, Adeniji Adele, Tokunboh Afikuyomi, Femi Pedro and the rest tried, they didn't succeed. Will Otedola be able to wrest Lagos away from Tinubu? Interestingly they are the real Lagosians. |
SavageBoy:Forget confidence and dressing well. Just pray you Dont meet those guys on the road on a day, they are out for blood. If you are well dressed (even if its shirt and trouser with jacket). You are a criminal. You use a good phone, (it does not even have to be an I phone). You are a criminal. You are driving a clean car. You are a criminal. In my case I was wearing a shirt, trousers with my Jacket visibly hanged behind my chair, driving a 13 year old car, with my work I.d., the office laptop, and guess what? 2 buildings away from my office. let's just say its the worst evening of my life. My saving grace is that my bosses' friend who happens to be a top politician drove past, decided to stop and intervene by calling someone that called someone that called someone that got through to them before they let me go. If you sound bold, intelligent, can speak good English and can defend yourself that's even a double crime. Its advisable to always dress well but what do you wear on a Sunday evening when you just want to hang out with your guys? |
You didn't add Dani Alves. His response is the best so far. An opposing team fan threw a banana at him. Alves calmly pick up the banana and ate it. |
So there is really no honor among thieves. |
Guys the money is not a tax. It won't end up in Tinubu or the government's pocket. It means that's the least they should have before they can operate in Lagos. Though I see no logical reason behind the capitalization ish. |
Wonder why people are still investing their money in this e hailing business. |
My own be say how I wan take waka for street now? |
Love him or hate him. Tinubu is the most relevant politician in Nigeria presently. The guy understand politics no be small. You have to give it to him. |
Great Job you guys are doing here. Breeding local chicken is a business I stumbled upon some years back. My mother in-law gave my daughter 3 of these local chicken. I have tried poultry in the past broiler, cockerel those things are worse than a jealous girlfriend, they take lots of time and any simple mistake and negligence will always result in serious loses. So I've said I will not do anything chicken again. So I didn't know what to do with the ones my in-law brought. But since my house then had a large fenced compound. I set them free expecting them to die or wander off guys I was wrong. These chicks are born survivors they do not need much attention. The breeder in me came out I brought out some drugs I still have at home deworm them, gave them multivitamins and started cleaning their cage and feeding them. I later bought a cockerel for them. To cut a long story short they started laying eggs and one thing I did is when they hatch I always remove both mother and chicks and keep them in a spare room I had because of eagles. I usually sell the roosters at the Igando market @ N1000 each and before long I stopped looking for buyers them no dey gree me rest. I no dey even see am chop self (guyz have I mentioned how sweet the meat tastes with rice stew?) I was making occasional 10K, 15k. I was already thinking of doing it full scale but, life happened I had to relocate to Ibadan disposed of the chicks and I have forgotten about it. Till I saw this thread yesterday. Honestly I have learnt a lot. Thanks and God bless you guys. @Farouq94 Where is you farm located? If you Dont mind I'd like to visit. |
Driving with these e - hailing companies ain't what it used to be. The business is now glorified slavery. When I see guys struggling and hustling for cars to drive on hired purchase/delivery I feel like crying for them. When even I couldn't break even driving my own car on the App I wonder how they manage to deliver to the owner. Then government is now adding this? |

We know say both of them na former drug lord. Its a pity that, that's the leaders we have in Nigeria. There's no single one of them that's not corrupt. |
I beg make una introduce me to Magu. I dey find lucrative business. |
"Counts all my cash" who else is thinking what I yam thinking? |
I would have said golf, but, the way I see Ibadan people dey abuse Micra and the thing go still dey move. That car rugged die. Except that its unnecessarily expensive. |
dgitrader:Well I might not be a core Honda person like you but I think am a fan of Honda and I definitely prefer them to any other Japanese automobile. But it seems they are dropping the ball and Toyota is slowly but steadily catching up. |
I was just having the same thought with the OP when I stumbled upon this thread reason is, I will be in the market for a new car soon and am just thinking what to get. I want something produced between 2008 - 2010. Now if I wanted something say from 99 - 03 then no doubt about it. It will be a Honda EOD or Babyboy. I will never be caught dead buying either big daddy or any of the pencil light. As for the corolla of that same period. Walai if its not raining and you give me a lift I'd rather trek. Those cars are just boring.(Lol) But as from 2008 its like Honda has relaxed her game while Toyota has stepped up. I dont know I think I might end up going for the an Hyundai product sha. As the one am using presently has been superb. If the way I dey reason offend anyone please correct me with love. Am just reasoning out loud. |
Imagine any of these guys as a president elect in Nigeria: Prof Charles Soludo, Segun Agbaje, Donald Duke, Rabiu Kwankanso, Tony Elumelu, Kingsley Moghalu, Peter Obi, Femi Adesina, Prof Yemi Osinbajo. Won't Nigeria progress? But, then it can only happen in our imagination. The reality is, 2023 will, as usual be a race between any of those that has been killing us since independence: Tinubu, Atiku, and whoever Buhari is nominating. I mean I read somewhere that Chief Bode George is interested in becoming the President of Nigeria. What a Joke! |
During the GEJ era his petroleum minister (Allison Madueke) was once interviewed by an American journalist (Amanpour I think), and, she was asked what is the pump price of fuel in Nigeria. Believe it or not the petroleum minister could not provide an answer. The journalist had to answer the question. My take on this is: ladies and gentlemen Our leaders are not in touch with the reality of what goes on in Nigeria. They live in a shell. Too bad for Nigeria. |
Na so them dey do every four years. Oncs they are elected . . . . |
If Ngige wants to reduce serious matter to beer parlour jokes. Then someone should remind us who was the sitting Governor that was kidnapped/abducted from the Government house overnight? |
Personally I don't care again. |
zombieTRACKER:Well said. Instead of facing the common enemy you see us attacking each other online, while these bastards continue to rob us blind. We are cursed. |
Per Lucem Adlucem. |
I was with a group of friends (about 8 of us) when I opened this thread, and I actually read out the topic aloud. See the way everyone just burst out begin dey laugh. @op thanks for making our day. |
