Thanks for that. He doesn't have the Dawn's facie.
TV/MoviesRe: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by HyDef(m): 9:34pm On Feb 25, 2017
cao:
Don't come near me with any of the prequels. With all the wooden acting, terrible dialogue (terrible delivery of said dialogue*), over reliance on CGI - who needed all those flying Jedis? Did you really need to pull off a complicated gymnastic move to fight that person? TPM was enough for me with the prequels, when I watched it as a teen, didn't bother with the rest. I will give the prequels this, the third one actually made a rather decent video game.

I'm forever grateful that George Lucas gave us Star Wars, but there are times I think the man is blinded by money & his perfectionist nature**, he really needs to improve on his dialogue skills. He can stick to the world building and leave the screenplay for someone else. Oh and he needs to stop complaining, see how he scattered his own mythos with metaclo-whatevers and whatnots.

*seriously someone needs to be shot for that rubbish sand line and Hayden's delivery of it. Look how George Lucas made Natalie Portman look like a useless actress.
**why spoil Indie with that odd sequel? Look at how he retroactively changed scenes in the original trilogy, sometimes it looks like they guy thinks his changing ideas would literally change the past. It's still vexing me that Boba Fett's original ESB voice was changed to the guy that played his clone daddy in the prequels. No offence to that guy, but the original voice was more menacing.
The prequels are crap. Hayden was a terrible actor, and some lines had me gaping at my screen. Like some part where he's waxing poetic about his love. Prequels, no thanks, although some of the lightsaber duels were nice.

The 'sequels' are where it's at. Once you accept that the effects are from like 3 decades ago, it's actually very impressive. Unfortunately, I watched the retouched form, and the first time I did, I was surprised at how well Jabba looked. I was impressed until I learnt the truth.

As a Star Wars fan, it might be easy to give the prequels a pass, but the acting was stiff. I still enjoy them however.

hyuga:
sorry for spoiling your wet dreams. Just wanna tell you it's going to be a feature phone not a smartphone
That's right. At this point, all of Nokia's Android phones must stay away from gimmicks, that's if they want to be taken serious. The Nokia 6 seems to be heading in a good direction. A 3310 themed smartphone is too adventurous at this point for the company.

And the first Hyuga that popped in my mind was the one from Neon Genesis Evangelion. grin
CelebritiesRe: Suicidal: Russian Model In A Death Defying Photoshoot Goes Viral. by HyDef(m): 1:33am On Feb 16, 2017
For those that think she'd survive a fall into water from 1,004 feet, I'm going to say no. She'd definitely die from the impact. She might as well have landed on concrete from that height.

"Stone states that jumping from 150 feet (46 metres) or higher on land, and 250 feet (76 metres) or more on water, is 95% to 98% fatal. 150 feet/46 metres, equates to roughly 10 to 15 stories in a building, depending on the height of one story. 250 feet is the height of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco."

So yeah... 250 feet would kill at least 95 out of 100 people. Not to talk of 4 times that height.

You're just trying to start a brawl.

It's fact. That's how the Microsoft Kinect wasn't able to detect people with dark skin so well after launch. And these Tecno guys found a way to make everyone happy, but you want us to say they're racist?

As if you wouldn't be incited if they said black people should illuminate themselves properly before photographs. :p

Of course! Crash Bandicoot I had heard of, but I played a Crash game for the first time on my GBA SP.

Donkey Kong, of course, of course! I even watched the DK show that was out in the 90s!

Rayman, I was only exposed to during the GBA days. Don't know so much about the character, but I thought his detached arms were hilarious. :p

But I'm not old! :p

We are not being foolish like some of you who have been so deceived that you now result to deceiving yourself.
Bubu missed it and plunged our economy into the mess we find ourselves today. He was very had any viable economic plan to salvage Nigeria all he had in mind was to be called president and push his Islamic agenda at the detriment of our economy.
We voted him in, we can also "protest" him out!
I know you're pissed, but you do know that you probably misinterpreted the message of the article? They're talking about pro-government protesters.

Sorry.

Related though, I managed to dodge when this happened in my first year in my school. smiley

EducationRe: What Every Nigerian Medical Student Must Experience In Medical School. by HyDef(m): 6:21pm On Jan 27, 2017
peacesamuel94:
why sir?
I think it depends on everyone personally, but it's not really my interest. I was nudged a bit aggressively by my parents into this course, based on my good performance in school, you know Nigerian parents na, if you're smart, it's either lawyer, doctor, or engineer.

I loved biology, and I thought medicine would be nice, but I really had no prior interest, I just kind of went with it. But it's very very very stressful. Sometimes you look at people in other courses, chilling, relaxing, while you have to hit the books for the 3rd time in a day. It gets frustrating especially as exams begin to approach. You'll either be stuck in your room or library for hours and hours reading. And the SRs and consultants don't exactly make anything better with the way the lower ones are treated, plus the whole system is not efficient. It doesn't end with school.

I've always loved computers. Since I was a kid. My dad is a systems engineer, so I was brought up with these things, and nowadays I code. I guess if I had really thought about it, I could have made a better choice.

It was awesome. cheesy
