You are not yet married, so it should be in your name. If and when you do get married, you can always add his name to the papers. |
akpanbaba: This is wonderful. So Yar'adua went with the key to solving our electricity problem. You should have told us long before the burial of Ikemba because we could have sent to Yar.adua .Now we have to wait for the death of a very important person in Nigeria who will be in position to talk to our late president to return the key to electricity problem. |

So sorry about your loss and please don't blame yourself at all, most miscarriages happen for non-understandable reasons. I went through it and it was awful particularly when I had to have the evacuation, cried helplessly. But today I am a joyful thankful mother of children, so rest your hopes and trust in God, He did it before, He will do it again. |
Good one stagger. But I am talking equity o. |
What is the surest way of raising N400 million in equity? |
@Uju, beyond the pain sef is the health of the baby and the mother, so the decision may not even be yours to make, but we pray it wont get to that point in Jesus' name |

Doing business is proving to be more and more challenging, what with all the taxes you have to pay. I need someone who is very enlightened in these matters to please shed light on the issue of back taxes. If you have no income for which to pay VAT, must you remit in that month or can you remit the following month, e.g. in January, there was no VATable income, if you don't submit the tax return form in January, will you have to pay Late return? Secondly, if you have a biz you have registered but not yet doing biz, how do you inform the authorities (tax) that you want to fold up the biz, is there any such thing as bankruptcy in Nigeria? |
sorry about your predicament. Marrying against your parents' wishes is not really advisable because if something goes wrong somewhere down the line, where will you run to? I would wait and pray for them to come around and not go against their wishes. And like someone said, anyone who would make you go against your parents may not have your total best interest at heart. He should rather be working hard towards making them come around. |
Hilarious. Hope you at least looked at your wife with wonder eyes afterwards! ![]() |
The truth like someone said is that your friend treated the waiter that way because of her position/circumstance. If she were capable of retaliating or something, things would not have gone down that way. Secondly, we come in contact with rude uncouth people many times but we don't respond violently because sometimes we are he ones who want something. An example is if you go fro an interview an the interviewer treats you without respect, will you give him a slap, no, because you want the job (worst case, you'll walk away). |
What your friend did is criminal. Nothing could have justified her action. She should have asked to speak with the person in charge or simply left the place, but to intentionally cause bodily injury to a person, is grounds for legal action. |
Honestly this is terrible. I think that time has come for us to begin to get things right in this country. Are we going to continue this way in this country? |
This is disturbing on many levels: 1. Why do we find it impossible to obey traffic rules and must need someone harassing us to do so, even as private citizens? 2. Why does LASTMA or any other monitoring or enforcement agency have to use barbaric measures to do their jobs? 3. Why don't we have an adequate emergency ambulance system in this country. It is appalling to see people surrounding this man's dead body as if it is nothing, the very least they could have done is get him to a hospital first before other things. It is both sad and annoying. When will how leaders put a proper 911 service in place in this country? |
