I don't believe this story. The thing would teear, except it's 15 minutes Quickie for each of them
Is 15 minutes quickie by 15 men not too much for someone ,ordinarily ? So, you'd only believe it if she had said the men did 15minutes each on her for two years? I am not sure you are a lady. It is indeed a sad story and a bad work experience

Would she have deliberately wanted to see her marriage crumble? You should be ashamed of yourself . BTW, congrats to Mercy Johnson.

I don't know why several Yorubas are suffering from psychiatric problems and mental imbalance. Is it the Economy or marrital issues? The writer is one of the several Yorubas suffering from hallucination, others include FFK, Obasanjo, Afenifere elders, Bode Geroge, e.t.c. They all should go and die. In fact, their forefathers are mad. They are all sffering from generational madness.
See your life degenerating to a nuisance and you intend to be a world richest, for where? "From the abundance of the mind, the ugly mouth speaketh trash."

Yorubas don't need a group that had already been proscribed ,to function optimally. I, however understand his standpoint...so that eventually the Yorubas will see him as progressive like minds and support his moves whenever he sets it in motion

Probably because you paid on 20th so he counted that month as one month instead of counting from August ...Now, he wants you to know that the from July ,u'd start another payment and that your money expires in June

The aim of setting up both groups is not the issue here. The issue here is that IPOB was unarmed and killed nobody, yet they were declared terrorists. OPC was armed and killed people but are not terrorists.

Killer Herdsmen were armed and killed people, but are not terrorists. They will even get Ruga

Who the Nigerian government considers terrorists is incredible
It seem you are a very young boy. How would someone say that the aim of setting up an organization or group shouldn't be an issue or overlooked? Are you a member of IPOB to confidently affirm that they were unharmed and killed no one? What was their intent of setting it up? OPC's aim was to reduce the crime rate prevalent within the society to its barest minimum possible . Would you say the same of IPOB ?

OPC have been armed and they have killed people in front of me in Ikeja, Lagos.

So who is the real terrorist?
IPOB was set up by a controversial person with an unpleasant purpose & obj known to sizable number of the citizenry and the Govt of the day. The aim of setting up OPC is quite different from IPOB and under different condition

Because every region have have fulani militia attacking its citizens.
It's never just going to be just for the protection of citizens...they will abuse it and even the citizens might regret embracing it in the first place. This is Nigeria!
PoliticsRe: Thread!!! by IamCookie(f): 11:27am On Jan 16, 2020
To say Operation Amotekun's personnel were established from the relics of OPC seem correct but I disagree with the part that OPC was a known terrorist organization.

Hello you all. I feel I’m addicted to masturbation. I stay alone and I tend to masturbate almost every time. I even recently discovered some nice porn and that has been fueling it. I don’t know how to get a girlfriend although I’m of age. I don’t want to fornicate because I’ve been trying to abstain. I need advice
Well, anything that is bad is bad and you already knew it ,hence the reason you needed help. It is usually said that , "what if you are your own problem?!" ...then it suffice to say, 'what if you will be the best to proffer solution to your problem. Howbeit, I suggest you speak to a counsellor to guide you more ,which i believe will assist you in weighing your options : getting a girlfriend or continue masturbating.
PoliticsRe: Thread! by IamCookie(f): 11:14am On Jan 16, 2020
What I think is that setting up a security outfit isn't majorly the problem but the personnel employed. I recall the time when the OPC were newly setup and everywhere , they went beyond their scope and even attended to family issues and disrupted so many things. For example, If I am a member and I do not like a particular person, I will use the power conferred on me to "treat his Bleep up" and my clique(colleagues) would support me , regardless.

They committed so many atrocities that the government had to Interfere and even imprisoned some of them. They went totally out of their job/task description and became feared by all and sundry resident within and not majorly by Armed robbers ,cultists among others.

Based on my little experience I have seen , I have come to agree with the erstwhile President, Goodluck Jonathan that we(Nigeria) are not mature yet for state police Not to talk of security outfit that has not received any significant training and are majorly illiterates

He will only help you if God place it on his mind to do,
Help comes only from above!

Hmmm, most people do not know what it feels like to be abroad.

Some people think that being there is easy.

Just because he changed $100 and sent to you, you think he has it all?

To be sincere, that $100 could be a lot to you down in naija. But it is nothing to him that is there. It can’t even pay his rent for a month, water, gas, electricity bills for a month.

You think it is easy for them? Surviving on their own is a big deal talk more of bringing a second party.

My brother. In as much as we rise by lifting others, but never have it at the back of your mind that anyone owes you anything. Nobody owes you shi shi.

If person dash you money, accept, if they do not, do not hold it against them, because they do not have two heads.

If person help you, be grateful, if person no come help you, nwanne move on, they do not owe you any help.

You see this mentality of entitlement? That is what is killing us in naija. This person should help me, but he is not, he is wicked. Lie lie, they are not wicked.

If they tell you what they pass through.

Shebi if you go city go hustle and ee no go well, you go see who you go borrow transport take enter villa come begin farm. You see them abroad? If ginger catch them, it is either they turn to street begger or they starve, no one send them there, this is not a case of I no wan stay again, make I go back to village, nwanne who wan give an money for ticket?

All I am saying is that, na patch patch all of us de do. Forget say when they wan visit, them go come fresh up, yes, the weather is good. They buy few new clothes. You see some of these faded color clothes, we de rock am, but you do not expect us to snap pics with them and post on social media.

Ee fit be say, ee no easy for your brother. No reason am.

Some are scared that once they bring you, you go begin mess up, if you get police case, na their head ee go land, if him talk say make him bone you and your case, people at home will call him evil.

There are so many reasons, why some won’t bring you there.

Find something and do for yourself,

You can also apply for visa for various countries, the same way that your brother did that time. Na the same head wey him carry na Im you too carry.
Quite Easily Said. We should learn to look at things from another side. It well help us to calculate faster and find our way to prosperity without been expectant.

this means yorubas don't help themselves,
in igbo we say " person wey em brother go heaven no dey go hellfire" (in ibo language tho)
That is not what I mean sir. There are many Yoruba's that assist each other and those that decide not to assist. The Igbo saying you quoted, was basically to disentangle cause and effect..to deliberately remind individuals that there are more to cordiality and family ,which is good but it's not a guarantee that he/she will assist. I have a female friend(from Abia-Ngwa side) whose elder brother had been in Norway(an European citizen) for about 17 years and the siblings have been looking up to him with nothing substantial forthcoming. The lady is surviving on her own with her fashion designer knowledge acquired. She couldn't go to any tertiary institution cos she was advised by the brother to go and learn tailoring. They are just three(himself and two sisters oOo) .Dad and mum has passed away.
