I think its because the police have not explored all the necessary angles. That a phone is missing does not conclude that its a theft issue gone bad. In law they call it prima farcie, on the face of it, robbery would have been adjudged to be the case but of course Nigerian police is lazy when it bores down to thorough investigation.

Exactly my resolve. That guy wouldn't have alighted at that location because of criminality that goes on there. I say that because people that are conversant with that area like him that lives around should know better. Even finicky restaurant have lost loads of clients because of that. My friends were robbed many times on that road as far back as 2005 as an undergraduate. Like you said, it seem planned to me.

I know that road quite well when i was an undergraduate at yabatech. Its a den for robbers because its a dark road at night. He should have known better since he lives around there and that is why it should be investigated thoroughly even when I know the police will not get to Amy meaningful result.

Collectin gifts from admirers can ruin ur relationship, I remember sometime in 2018 I was still wit my ex, a guy in my church bought me a phone. I told him am in a relationship I cant accept it he said he is not interested in dating me that he doesnt like the phone am using, that I should accept it. I did an told my boyfriend then, he did not complain about it or ask me to return it, but that was the beginning of our break up, any little issue we hav he will say is because he doesn't have money to by me phone that's why I have started double dating. This is someone I told, I could easily have lied to him that an aunty or uncle bought it for me but I told him the truth, yet he started using it in every issue, after a while he told me to return the phone back to the guy, phone I hav used for more than 2 months, the problems was just too much I just had to personally end it so I can have peace of mind. But I learnt from it. Accepting gift from admirers can be risky cos it can ruin ur relationship especially if ur guy is the insecure type.

The identity of all those behind the online campaign must be unravelled and they should be prosecuted in the event that Nuru Adam is innocent.

In the meantime,the state and child rights activists can prosecute the promoters on behalf of the children as the campaign was in breach of their child rights. Those children must get justice. Who got their pictures and used it in those creatives? Who are those paying those hyping it on the social media? Who are those pushing the pictures of those innocent children to front page of online platforms, whatsapp groups and here on nairaland? Are they above the law?

So much money was pumped into the campaign and it even made front page more than twice here on nairaland yet no single sympathy for the innocent children and the slim chance that the man may be innocent.

CBN must protect the bank too as it seems the attacks are actually after FCMB. CBN should not wait until these campaigners bring down FCMB before freezing their accounts and reporting them to DSS.

I hope government is taking notes and monitoring this development on the use of social media.

Make sure you dial the short code with the network you used to register for bvn. When you dial *346#, you will see another prompt, type 1 and press OK. Then the next prompt will show your NIN. Hope you are using an average phone.

I think GTB is linking the BVN with the NIN in batches. I logged into my account via browser and saw they've already created a space for NIN. Maybe they will start linking BVN that starts with 222 and 223 this week (I hope)

My bvn starts with 222 and I got my NIN via the short code *346# but I am not so sure about those that 223 as their bvn though..

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a NIN on my GTB app. So the comments here verify that if your BVN starts with 221 you do get one. My question now is, my NIN is a 10 digit number. The code verification is asking for an 11 digit number.

The NIN is eleven digits, maybe you did not copy it well..
