showlove911: IBIKUN AWOSIKA
That woman talk too much.
Forming motivational speaker while being a board member of institutional corruption and financial misappropriation. The last two past MD ,Bisi onasanya almost crippled the bank upon his departure. CBN literally came to Firstbank's aid to avoid bankruptcy. Evri of our staff knw dis tins to be true!
This pple eat fat salaries while dishing out peanuts to contract staff as salary. Meanwhile we are the foot soldiers.
Later, madam will be hosting/attending conferences, speaking grammars as if Shez beret of the ills of the bank.
It is a bad thing for good to be silent when evil prevails. But it is a very dangerous thing for good to provide the platform for evil to be celebrated.
CBN got this one right! Do you even know that the private company of mrs Awosika is even struggling as well as we speak. Most of her staff are been owed salaries for months, though it was partly because of the covid but she seem to be losing the managerial prowess she had at the beginning of her career. Its sad to say all this because she is a pastor in my church (TFOLC) but one have to just say the truth. |

FarahAideed: This was a complete coup and hostile takeover by the CBN If you ask me If the board didn't give themselves loans without following the required process, this "coup" as you called it wouldn't have materialised. Most of those at the Board of Nigerian Companies do alot of damage through the act of taking loans that eventually turn to bad debts because they didn't follow due process. An example is Dunlop Elite. Infrastructure was a problem for them no doubt but what contributed more to their downfall was bad management that mentioned earlier. Thank God my dad retired when he saw the signs and collected his benefits. Those that stayed put didn't collect shi shi from the company before it eventually went under. The CBN in my opinion is right this time. |

Ajibel: I can understand your pessimism and I'd have shared same view with you if not that I kinda have a better understanding of the funding plans for the projects. The govt isn't doing enough in terms of transparency to lay out the funding plans for the completion of these projects that's why folks who aren't in the know are concluding it won't be completed as scheduled. The won't lay out the funding plans because they know that majority if not all of their projects are inflated. You see my friend, that is what we are talking about. The funding plans are shrouded with secrecy for a reason you know. |

Yankee101: It's most naija schools
Very inefficient transcript system
It should be centralized and automated It should be centralised how!!!?? I thought it's better to decentralise it. Each department should be able to produce their own transcript but will send it to the school senate for vetting and thereafter signed by the registrar. That eliminates a lot of processes. Centralising option that you suggested encourages a lot of redtape. |

CSTRR: A lite of Nigerians don't know the scale of predation that foreign countries are doing to Nigeiann healthcare.
They are parking them enmass. And it is the Nigerian people that suffers.
Poor Nigerians that can't afford foreign healthcare.
Many of these health care Visa agents especially from the UK and the middle East are wrecking serious havoc on Nigeria.
Infa t the UN had to create a quota protecting vulnerable countries like Nigeria but the wealthy countries don't care.
They know the damage they are doing, they just don't care.
If I become president tommorow, one of the first things I would do is to send a strongly worded statement to predator nations ,close down their agencies in Nigeria and charge their Nigerian collaborators with treason. I just dey laugh you. It's good to be a patriot but who does that help when the government that you are campaigning for don't eve give a hoot about the health care sector. Hazard allowance for nurses in Nigeria which is paltry at 5k can't be paid, the government have been deducting their salaries for years promising to use it to build apartment for them has not materialized and you don't want them to seek greener pastures. In as much as they are going legally, I (sadly) support them to better their well-being. Look, migration is everywhere. Even Doctors and Nurses of UK origin are migrating to Australia, USA, and Canada where the pay is better than the NHS. Whatever profession, people always gravitate to where they can fulfill their potential with enough resources to cater for their family and friends and if your environment cannot guarantee that people will move to where that can be achieved. Look, that UN or WHO policy that warned that west should not endanger the health care sector of the Third world countries cannot hold sway because of so many factors. Even the WHO Director General Jakpa from his own country to find a better life abroad. I am tired of typing jor...,. cheers bro!!! |

And to say you still find a way to lump Tinubu into this is troublesome... Honestly People don't always trust politicians because of the antecedents they have created for themselves. The vigor at which they inaugurated the blue light rail, you will think that it will be commissioned the following year but they kept awarding and rewarding contracts. I wouldn't be surprised if this red line doesn't go the same way. By next year when they are supposed to commission it, Sanwo olu will be singing another tune that there's no funds and that is how it will drag (awarding and rewarding contracts) till another administration comes in. It's how they do bro, not that people are cynical for the fun of it. |

Men, please learn to always listen to your wives especially those who got married to intelligent women(bulk of grace to grass stories that has happened to men were as a result of them making decisions alone without discussing with their partner for counsel). Do yourself a favour by moving on, dwelling in the past won't help. In as much as I don't wanna hold brief for your wife, it could be she saw the writing on the wall but you never listened. There are lots of petty menial jobs you could do, you can as well become a sperm donor(the point is for you to do any legal thing to stay alive pending when things get better). I can even speculate that the reason the wife left is not because of the loss of his job. It seem to be that woman gave him loads of advice like his family did and he did not listen. He seem to be a stubborn and a defiant man as you could Induce from his write up ( he was sanctioned severally before he was excused from the army and he never listened to his family's advice). Hence, everybody feels it's a waste of time advicing someone that never listens. |

NobleDeSage001: LOYALTY Loyalty is everything. If you have a woman that is loyal to you, hold her tight.
I have one now and incidentally her name too is Onyinyechi. Seems like girls who answer Onyinyechi are just excessively loyal.
The girl I wanted to marry (Favour) came to my house once, saw only bed, reading table and chair. My DVD player was placed on its carton and my TV hung on the wall. Favour vowed never to come to my house again. That was how she left me for a wealthy man.
Onyinyechi came, met the same setting but she stuck to me ever since. If not for anything, I respect her for her loyalty and humility. The truth is everybody is not the same. We all have varying personality. That she left doesn't make her a bad person. It's just her own preference which we all have. Some men too can't marry a broke lady you know. I am not holding brief for your ex though. |

There are no signboard of government acquisition, not everyone knows where to go about these things, this is my second land investment going down the drain If you had gone to the land registry in Ogun state, I believe they would have furnished you with necessary details about any land you want to purchase. You only need to tip people here and there. Na the naija way!! |

RSVP: This is one of the sacriest thing in Nigeria.
I still remember one man named Mr. Ariwoko that was very active on one particular radio program back then in Ogun state had same issue with his property. They served him noticed for 2weeks and he was pleading bad pushing the issue over the media and everywhere in btw that period maybe there would be a solution. so and I was listening to the program that day when he called in and said his house was being demolished right infront of him as he speak..It was very painful to listen to a family man going through all that and the memories still plays in my head till today.
I do not know what one can do in this situation but I will suggest you and other people affected should seek a lawyer's opinion. It's sad we living in a lawless country where govt do anyhow over the masses.
I pray you overcome this obstacle and find peace. People don't do the right thing when they want to buy land. The first thing to do is get a registered surveyor to do chart to know whether the land does not fall under acquisition especially compulsory acquisition or better still get a good lawyer to start the process for you. Majority of these omo onile just sell government land and some of the lands are even on drains, under high tension and so on. The Op didn't do or follow due diligence and its going to cost him big time. The only thing that can be done is if he has a CoO which I seriously doubt. With the Certificate of Occupancy, the government can be challenged in court and if the house eventually gets demolished due to some contraventions, the Op will be heavily compensated by the courts. My advice to people is they should not always be in a rush to buy land especially when its cheap, their are inherent dangers looming ahead. Seek professionals, it may seem expensive at first but the benefits are their in the end. |

But from this explanation comes another question.
What exactly was he doing with his daughter in the hotel?
Note, this explanation is not tenable.

So the husband family doesn't have a house? Okay, let's assume the husband lives in the family house, so there is no other place except the hotel? And the father was with her in the hotel room? If the hisbah commander happens to run into a man and a girl in the hotel, will he give them audience?
This explanation is watery. You better don't disturb yourself, they just want to save face. They are all hypocrite. I have lived in the north and seen through them. |

femi4: You ve done the right thing. You ve defined the relationship, It's now left for him to stop deceiving himself or continue dating himself I honestly do not think Stacy is telling the whole story here. Its really not about how they "bethroded" the guy to her. I think Stacy felt after getting to know the guy well, his personality became an issue. So many things must have happened whilst knowing him, be it material, emotional (the small small butterflies) and maybe physical that is making difficult to let go. Trust me the problem in this case is the personality of the guy, if it were to be physical, Stacy wouldn't have started the relationship regardless of the contract involved with the guy's uncle. Solution to Stacy: The best advice is to clarify the situation with the guy and let him know your stand "finally". Don't be afraid of losing the contract with his uncle because that seem to be the Hercules heel here. Continue to source for other clients out there and God will crown your hard work. Cheers!!! |
