.

Lol! They are traditionally PDP voters and you said in your last comment that obi and atiku will divide their votes. So why are you now saying they may not vote Obi. Traditional PDP voters in the state would tilt towards LP than they would tilt towards APC. Let me not even talk of APC members who supported Amaechi or Osinbajo and are not cool with BAT or the MM ticket. I bet you didn’t factor that into the situation did you?
grin grin grin
Thank God you even use the word traditionally. If PDP and APC have people who traditionally vote for them and LP is a section of PDP, how then will LP votes affect APC traditional voters.
And who's talking about Amaechi and Osinbanjo again? Like seriously? You would definitely bring up anything to make a point, did you listen to any of Abdullahi Sule's interview at all? Does he seem like someone who's pissed off? Even Lalong is on board talkless of the state of a governor who was among those who stood by Tinubu. And it's obvious all you people are banking on is the religion card, you mentioned the Eggon people been Christians majorly and now the MM ticket. Well we'll see how far that would get both PDP and LP.
PoliticsRe: Atiku: Nigerians Are Proud Of PDP's Records In 16 Years When Compared To APC by IamNat: 1:59pm On Nov 11, 2022
APC that has used only 8years, how then do you do the comparison fairly? The same party where you have seek to contest for president in the past, anyone who believes this is just naive.

And you fail to take cognizance of the fact that people would not necessarily vote for party but for individuals? In 2015, when they voted for GEJ, did they not overwhelmingly support Al Nakura for governor? I hate to bring in the religion factor but if there’s one thing that would favour Obi in nasarawa, it is the significant Christian population in that state. The Eggon tribe is the majority of the ethnic groups in the state and they are Christians mostly. That is where Labaran Maku hails from. I’m sure you haven’t heard about the Eggon tribe
The Eggon tribe are the majority and they are Christians but they couldn't get enough votes for their own (Labaran Maku) against Almakura who is a Muslim. They voted for GEJ doesn't mean they will vote for Obi.

BlazinGlory40:
Oga sir! In 2011, CPC won its governorship and PDP it’s presidential category; in 2015, with an APC incumbent state government, PDP still won the presidential category. In 2019, despite APC controlling that state, they only managed to get a victory but with a razor thin margin. Don’t just come here to talk. Do your research thoroughly. If buhari, being very popular in the north lost nasarawa every time he contested and managed to upset PDP in 2019 by a slim victory, how would BAT fare there. Once again sir, do your research before coming here to argue.
grin grin grin
Argue? Who will argue with you? grin grin grin
You sure know how to give yourself too much credit.
If you had done your research, you would have seen a progression of how votes have shifted from the PDP to APC in the grassroots especially with national assembly members (who are indeed the grassroot workers), the question however is what gives you the assurance that the APC can't improve on what they did in 2019, especially now that they have more national assembly members than they do in the past.

However, I asked you how PDP votes will translate to a victory for the LP, but of course, all LP supporters are partly PDP, and I tell you, that would be the down fall of the PDP in Nasarawa state, their usual vote will now be divided between PDP and LP. So how will APC not lead when they still retain their whole votes, they are the incumbent and they have more national assembly members than before.

You can say to yourself whatever makes you sleep at night though, but it won't change the reality on ground, soon, everything will be clear just like it did after the APC primaries.

APC won nasarawa only once in 2019 and that was by a razor thin margin. It’s still much a presidential election stronghold for the PDP which is capable of swinging towards LP. I say make I tell you.
If APC can win the state when they are not the incumbent, what gives you the assurance that they will lose when they are the incumbent.

Nasarawa that has all it's senators from APC, 4 out of 8 Federal reps, with PDP and SDP sharing the remaining 50/50. Aren't those who would do the background work? Theses people are still contesting and you think they would sit down and look?

And how does the state being a former PDP state swing it's vote to LP and not PDP? Oh, I forgot LP is only a section of the PDP, Which means if Obi will affect anybody's vote, it's that of the PDP, those who have been APC supporters before now still remains.

grin grin grin I say make I tell you. grin grin grin

BAT doing the real work, talking with those that matters, those who owns the structures, i won't be surprised by the time the election results starts coming in, people would be surprised just like they are surprised during the primary election. They were so sure Tinubu would lose that election but they ended up eating their own vomit.

It is well, the debate is meant mostly for the elites and the literates, it has very little effect on the people on the street, reason why you won't see Tinubu at places like this, he knows his support base won't increase no matter how hard he tries at the debate talkless of when he knows he won't even perform well
PoliticsRe: Fasoranti: debanjo No More Acting Afenifere Leader by IamNat: 12:15pm On Nov 02, 2022
None of these two groups have ever decided the direction to which the Yorubas will vote, we are a very liberal people without any form of herd mentality. We decide individually who we will vote for, which is why I was laughing when Pa. Adebanjo endorsed Pitobi and his Obi supporters where crying up and down.

HighTableVoice:
The main issue is always about timing as most prominent members of the party also have interests, requests and more so issues of slots and accreditations.

All this are in place, the only other thing according to the reports from that meeting is His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari has a key role to play in Flagging off the campaign and show loyalist and Nigerians he stands with his political party and urges them to do the same but with his tight schedule he can only do that when the time permits and as well to not engage in a conflict of interest war as a seating president supporting one candidate.

All is well within the APC party and The PCC, 5 other strong opposition party Governors are on the fence and Willing to accept and attend meetings with APC reps. With 22 state Governors on board, local governments and wards all over, APC has a party will retain the power. Only political novices will assume it's about individuals now at this point as we are getting closer day by day.
Some people just like making themselves happy by thinking election is a one man show, now dem don announce campaign council list and kasala burst.
PoliticsRe: Again APC Governors Disagree With Tinubu Over Campaign Matters by IamNat:
Tinubu should just do the needful, accept all concerned parties so that the campaign can go as expected.

BTW, why are parties and candidates always having issues over campaign? Aren't they focused on winning the election?

On who's side exactly is this man though?

Anyways, it just seems as if Atiku was not destined to be president because I don't understand how an opposition party with 13 governors discard 5 of them who are actually governors of a region where the party isn't so strong or where the opposition against the party is so stiff.

All this issues is to Tinubu's favor one way or another.

I really wish APC understand the need for what you just typed.

In the absence of JUSTICE where is PEACE? In the absence of peace where is UNITY? In the absence of unity where is PROGRESS?

JUSTICE is don't do to others what you would not want them to do to you. Don't give them Muslim Muslim ticket when you don't want them to give you Christian Christian ticket.
No one is against the Christian Christian ticket, some governors already win with Christian Christian ticket in the country, the question is, can a Christian Christian presidential ticket win the election, can it get the votes?
