Adeoti -Aregbesola's man just dey waste his time |
It is no doubt that Mr Wike before and after the PDP primary election remains a force to reckon with within the party and he would have been a tremendous support to Atiku if he were to be the running mate, he has the number with him. But unfortunately, Mr Atiku can't make the same mistake Obasanjo made with him in 1999. What goes around they say comes around Should Wike decide to leave the party and join APC, there are certain implications to this which majorly is that it would make the whole election look like a contest between the south and northern Nigeria, which I believe would cause too much tension in the country. If Wike should join Tinubu's campaign, it would be the first time when the big politicians with great structures are coming together in the south, the North will calculate it to be a coup against them and this can jeopardize Tinubu's campaigns. Already, the northern leaders are scared of Tinubu, they are sceptical about him, they believe he's too ambitious and it is obvious they won't be able to control him, they know that Tinubu's romance with them is just to get to power and they believe he'll show his true colours when he gets to be president. Now if Wike should join Tinubu's campaign, it definitely will make them more scared. Wike has always stood against the north, he has always spoken against the control and sharing of resources in the country and that is something the north does not want. WHAT THEN CAN BE DONE? Wike should wait until the dying minute before quitting the party should he be planning to dump PDP, he should pay them back in the same coin he was paid initially, by so doing all would have been sealed with no going back possible for anyone. PLEASE NOTE I'm not saying Wike will join APC, I am saying in the case he's planning to join APC. Also, this is just my opinion, it's just my thoughts, if you know you can't discuss politics reasonably by arguing your point based on logical reasons please do not comment with abuse. Do not try to force your own opinion on anyone on this thread, you have who you support and why you support him so also do others. Thanks. |

Ray02:Okayyyyy |
Okay now. Oyetola would win Osun state convincingly this time around, he is good to the people of Osun state, a very honest man, told the people publicly that he may not carry out too many capital project because he doesn't want to borrow but he will ensure he doesn't owe them salaries and he did just that, the first governor in Osun who doesn't have issues paying salary. At the same time, the TOP faction in osun APC can't leave the party like this PDP faction did because they know APC will still win the election. By the way, I wonder who the Labour Party governorship candidate is in Osun state o. ![]() |
I see a very vivid pattern towards this 2023 election. Almost everything that happened in 2015 is now happening again. This was how all the talk was about Buhari then, both positive and negative. This was how Buhari had certificate issues. This was the same way they keep shouting we are obtaining PVC back then too. This only signifies one thing and that is the fact that Tinubu is the most popular presidential candidate. Had he been a Christian, he would have won the election convincingly, the only obstacle I see infront of BAT is the Muslim Muslim ticket issue. |
donjazet:As if the election would be conducted on Nairaland. |
Zeezenho:Okay. 1. Here in Sokoto state, Tinubu is the song on the lips of majority of the people, Tambuwa as really destroyed PDP over here, his people do not like him unlike the likes of Sen. Wamako who are loved by the people and he's in APC. Anywhere you go here, you see people just asking if you know Tinubu (or Tinunubu like the pronounce his name), just two days ago, my aboki asked me this same question, you can imagine an hausa-fulani man saying APC is his party and they can not afford to lose the presidential sit for now. They don't even know Peter Obi, of course majority of them are not online, those who are online can't read or write English, if you check their phones, it's been operated in hausa language. 2. Yorubas will always support their own, had it been that PDP is strong in the southwest, I would have said Atiku will split Tinubu's vote but PDP only have Oyo state in the southwest and even with the way Seyi Makinde is playing his politics in the state, I just pray he doesn't lose the next election. The just concluded Ekiti state election is an example and do not be surprised if APC wins Osun again. 3. Kwankwanso is only popular in Kano state, the presence of NNPP in other Northern states isn't that visible and you must know this that, Kwankwanso has his Kwankwansiya movement as his structure and in Kano state, he has been able to get some bigwig politicians to his side, so when he's leaving PDP, he knew he's only pulling out his own structure, unfortunately, Kwankwanso also know that Peter Obi only pulled out of PDP because he doesn't have any structure there, Peter Obi joined LP in search for a structure he can ride on and that is why Kwankwanso will never agree to deputies Peter Obi because he knows he already has an existing structure when Peter Obi do not. Also, do not be surprised if Kwankwanso at the last minute to the election decides to step down for Tinubu, all Tinubu had to tell Kwankwanso is that he will support Kwankwanso's presidential ambitions after his own tenure or maybe give Kwankwanso a free room to contest the primaries without him (Tinubu) having preference for anyone. Kwankwanso will fall for this easily because he knows that Peter Obi can never finish his tenure and handover to him, been the kind of person that Peter Obi is, he will rather handover to a technocrat and a youth. That's just my view about the current situation. Peter Obi should not step down for anyone in this election but he's time is not yet now and if he will step down for anyone at all, he should do so when the election is close and things are more clearer on who might win between Tinubu and Atiku and he should support that person, so that he will have a chance to contest primaries under a ruling party next time when he must have built a structure for himself. He can even be a minister with such a person so that he will get a chance to work hard with his ministry and earn himself a name just like Amaechi did and I believe with a wide acceptance across the Nigerian youth by then, he's chances of winning would have increased. |
LordOfTheGame:You are welcome sir |
kingyakos:Okay o |
uwuana: ![]() Okay o, I will requote you after the election. I am from the southwest currently residing in the north -sokoto state to be precise and most assertions you just made up there isn't what I have seen first hand, but 2023 will soon be here, so no need for argument. |
I just laugh when they say Nigerians want Peter Obi, I do not know since when the whole population of Nigeria joined Twitter, Facebook and Nairaland. ![]() Instead of them to say Nigerian Youth wants Peter Obi which is the reality, so that they would understand that there's still more work to do and more land to cover, they just keep enjoying the media widespread support, this is the same way they are confidently saying Tinubu will lose the APC Primary election. Labour Party that does not have candidate that can boast of winning any senatorial district or any federal constituency keep claiming they will win the presidential election. They have forgotten that it is these senatorial aspirants, governorship aspirants and house of representative aspirants that will canvas for vote from voters their supporters and by extension they are canvassing for vote for their party's presidential aspirants. If we talk now, they will say we don't know what we are saying, they forgot that Aluta does not win election, they forgot that elections are not won online, if for anything, how the APC primaries ended should be a lesson, with all the online shouts and bad media against Tinubu, he still won. What I'm just saying is that, Peter Obi supporters should realize now that there's still plenty of works to do and it's not by online noise. |
From mere reading the article, I already knew Sanusi will never talk like that. It's the handiwork of some people who will not stop at anything to ensure that their preferred candidate continues trending online. I just hope they won't use their over do attitude to destroy Obi's growing momentum. |
donaldking10:As Kwankwanso is getting ready to lose again, so is Peter Obi because just as Kwankwanso can only get substantial votes in the north, so can Obi only get substantial vote in the south. They both need each other, unfortunately, their ego and greed will not allow them to merge together. |
Lashist: ![]() Learn to handle your emotions guy, you can't always be right, learn how to accept that you can be wrong, that's the only way to growth. Talk about what I do from now till tomorrow, it's your choice, at least I have things going on well for me, can you say the same for yourself? ![]() Since you are running away from the main topic, let me remind you: ![]() Whats your alignment and what ship are you on personally??...how old are you BTW?? Those were your exact words, and I say again, why don't you just pour out your mind, why not say exactly what's in your chest when you were asking those questions. ![]() |
CheapHomes1:Really? I didn't see it. |
okuta007:Nawa o, I don't know what makes you think maybe I'm talking to Indomie generations and those other histories you put up there. What makes you think I didn't vote in the June 12 election. I believe you have a right to your own opinion just as I did have a right to mine. I already told you my position and the reason behind it. If Gowon can decide to go ahead with the Civil war, Abdulsalam could decide to do the same, he could have lost and he could have won but every soldier knows it's either win or lose that ends a war. Well if all you believe about Abdusalam returning Nigeria to Civil rule is that he did it for himself, no problem. As for me I will always credit him for what he did, he's a hero who won't be forgotten when talking about democracy in Nigeria. Thanks sir. |
Lashist: ![]() All I did is just replying to all your unnecessary banters. I couldn't but laugh through out while writing it, I so much enjoyed it. And I say it again, grow up, do something to help your insecurities, so that you can pour out your mind without been afraid that you might be wrong. Because I know the reason for your initial question is because you are scared of been wrong. ![]() You still haven't pour out your mind though. Oh, sorry, I've lectured you to learn how to keep quiet, I'm glad you are now taking to instructions. ![]() |
What else would he have said, as long as there's no evidence against them. It is well. |
dragunov:Well maybe that didn't come out well, when I said outgrow what was in my mind was that sooner or later, we will get to a point when we would get tired of this corrupt system and all what we want is to just do anything possible to get rid of it, be it by Removing or expunged like you mentioned. |
okuta007:He did have a choice, he could have stayed a little longer, he's a military man, he could have started killing anyone who wants to stand against him like Abacha did, when IBB decided to annul the June 12 election, what happened eventually, till today the election is still not announced. But here is a man who decided to do what is right, he should be credited for that. I never said he did Nigeria a favour, maybe it sounded like that to you, I am only acknowledging the fact that he chose to do what is right. Yes, he stole and looted the country, but show me a Nigerian leader who has not done such in one way or the other -this is not me justifying corruption in any way, but if the Lord should keep track of Nigerian politician's iniquities, who can stand among them?. Also, I never said nor meant to imply that travelling abroad to take care of his health is a good thing. All I did was to only acknowledge the fact that he chose to do what was right at a critical point in the history of Nigeria. I also wish him speedy recovery! |
Lashist: ![]() "SW leading hasnt still changed your life a bit" -If that is your conclusion, fine!!! Are you happy now? ![]() "you don't write proper sentences" -Thank you sir ![]() "you are still on NL looking for matlab customers" -Yes I advertise what I do, and they are rushing me, I don't remember coming into your DM to beg you to give me work now abi. ![]() "You sound like sw leading has made ur life a lil bit better." -And where did I imply or say this? The way you make assertions hen? Its obvious you lack education ![]() "You sound like sw leading has made ur life a lil bit better. Fuel or food won't be reduced for you when you say you are from the SW. Will it?? It wont make your life better secured than ppl in SE and the North." -Even with all this, I am still proud to say it that SW Leads ![]() "That is why i said your education if you have finished school is useless." -Because I said SW Leads which I did not say to you nor was it the bases of this discussion in the first place or was it because I told you that you couldn't write proper sentences? ![]() "after all these arguments, you'd still go and beg ppl to give your matlab projects to use hold body" -Like I came to ask in your DM yesterday right or was it the day before. ![]() "Your life so much depends on it." -Like I said, because I came to your DM yesterday or was it the day before to beg abi, if I can remember, you are the one peddling me to answer your question. ![]() "Proof your education isnt useless again" -Proof to who, I'm not as insecure as you are now, I don't wait for validity from anybody, I just do my thing, I don't care what you -The Educationist think. ![]() "Oga better go and find something useful to do in your life other than waiting for tinubu to win before you progress." -We are already doing something useful with our life. And Tinubu won the APC primaries, despite all the noise they make about him losing the primaries. We are making progress before Buhari came in, we are making progress while he's still president, we will continue making progress. It is people like you who needs to focus more on getting your life together because you are obviously frustrated with life. It is all over your responses."its good you do something legit to eat" -Thank God you know this, unfortunately, I did not say something legit, I said things, I hope you know the difference now, ![]() "you can do better with your life other than trying to talk down on ppl " -I knew you are intimidated, unfortunately, I am not the one responsible for your insecurities, grow up sir, please, for the sake of those around you, grow up before you punch them if you have not been doing that yet. ![]() "ppl better than you" -If I talk down on people better than me, because they are better, they will not result to name-calling like you did, better people have confidence to that level, when they are wrong, they are not scared to admit it, when they cross their boundary they are quick to retrace their steps. ![]() "It people dont give you matlab projects to do on NL, how do you intend to survive?" -Like I said, the Lord as blessed us, we have enough legitimate business to take care of us, not just us but also our responsibilities. Advert on NL is just one of the means among several others and I don't remember coming to your DM to beg for work last I remember, it was you snooping through all my profile. ![]() Anyway ![]() You still haven't poured out your mind, and that is the reason why you have been embarrassing yourself all along. N torrr ![]() You are pained ![]() |
Lashist: ![]() I am not surprised. You just can't handle the fact that you are wrong. You keep claiming spelling isn't a test of intelligence, which I never claim it is, but here you are yarning "you have lots of errors as well" one would have thought you won't go down that route now ![]() Did you just say I could have just answered your question about my alignment? You still do not get it into your skull? I do not owe you any explanation, if you can not pour out your mind without me answering your question, why not just shut up?Unfortunately, this conversation did not start by me talking about your shorthand spellings, all I did was ask you to pour out your mind without me answering your question, and then you burst open your sense of low IQ. ![]() And did you just call me a "tribal bigot"? Like I said, I am not surprised, we know your type, you often result to name-calling and I will not descend so low to that level. If my statement of "SW leads" is tantamount to been a tribal bigot then I am proudly one. Are you happy now? And yes, I advertise what I do, if what that means to you is begging, congratulations, at least I have things I do legitimately to earn my living unfortunately that is a source of headache and heartbreak for you. ![]() You have even researched my name , I must really be a pain in your ass. ![]() And finally, it is you who should be ashamed of your education, that is, if you have any, because I wonder how someone who believes inability to write proper sentences is a good thing would be talking about education. I say it again and again that Southwest leads. Deal with it. ![]() And now that you have strayed away from the original argument to research about me, will you pour out your mind now? N torrr ![]() You are pained ![]() |
proi:Thanks sir. |
TRUE!!! The rate at which the media pays close attention to Tinubu's movement is alarming. Any little thing he does makes the news, I don't know if this should be seen as a blessing to him or a curse. But sincerely, Tinubu as tried for himself and he as achieved so much that he's now feared in every quarter. Unfortunately, I don't see him becoming the president, Atiku stands a better chance, the odds against Tinubu are just too much, the president and the presidency are afraid of him, his party chairman is afraid of him, he has the Muslim-Muslim ticket issue to deal with, and his health is also failing. So far, Atiku appears to have everything under control, he is Fulani like the president and a northerner, he as control of his party, he as a southern Christian as his running mate, and he appears healthier. Take it or leave it, Obi won't go that far, he'll come a distant third, forget all the online hyping. So I'll give it to Atiku, it's not yet the time for a Lagosian to lead the country. |
Like it or not, take it or leave it, the only detribalized ethnic group out of the three major ethnic group in Nigeria are the Yorubas. Religion is hardly an issue in the west and the times they have lead this country, we have seen how they lead the country without been tribalistic. So if anyone should point a finger at someone who is tribalistic, na them get the right. |
One of the owners of Nigeria. Abdulsalam Abubakar as done his own quota for Nigeria. He at least ensured that we return to democracy, and he did it with assurance of stability, he should be credited for that. Yes we know our democracy is corrupt but sooner or later, we will get to a point when majority of the Nigerian citizen would get tired of this corrupt system that we are running and all what we want is to just do anything possible to get rid of it, and history will always remember him as the custodian of the Nigerian democracy. Get well soon Abdulsalam Abubakar. |
Lashist: ![]() Like I said, you can't be helped, it's your wrong spellings, it's your pidgin, it's your lack of intelligence, if you choose not to change, na your wahala. ![]() If you like go on and check all my post and profile, it's your headache, it's your frustration, three things I know are that, I will not allow you to project your frustration on me, I won't allow you to drag me into the mud with you and I won't ever descend so low to your level of mediocrity. Next time, just pour out your mind and stop asking silly questions, if you can't talk without asking unnecessary question, learn to keep quiet or just make your comment and pass. ![]() N torrrr ![]() |
Lashist: ![]() So you are so pained you had to start running helter skelter. ![]() Guy, you need to relax and learn how to control your emotions. You are just too emotional. To think you had to go look around for my post ![]() Nawa ooo. I give up on you, walai. ![]() |
H |
Lashist: ![]() He's pained ooo ![]() Look at the way you are just embarrassing yourself, all because you asked me a question and I said you should just say your mind because I'm not ready to answer your question. It's obvious you are frustrated and I won't let you pour your frustration on me. You should grow up and learn how to be more civilized as well as how to respect other people's opinion, so because it's a faceless forum you think you can just stay behind your keyboard and speak anyhow to anyone. Normally I wouldn't give people like you any attention, but I just needed to teach you in particular a lesson and I'm so glad you are learning the hard way ![]() Anyways, Since you have gotten your answer, why don't you just pour out your mind like I suggested initially. ![]() |
Lashist:Shame? Really? ![]() You know now, no matter how clean you try to wash a pig clean, it will always return to the mud, so, what's the point? It's your wrong spellings, it's your pidgin, it's your lack of intelligence, if you choose not to change, na your wahala. ![]() What I won't allow you do is drag me into the mud with yourself by dignifying your question with an answering! ![]() N torrr ![]() I WON'T ANSWER, DEAL WITH IT ![]() |
