At first, I didn't say he performed excellently, I said he did so well with governance, you should find out what governance entails though.

And would you have preferred that he should continue paying half salary? I never said he didn't do capital project, I said plenty capital project. The man was honest enough to tell the citizens the situation on ground, he made a promise and he fulfilled it. That's what a leader is made of, not promising people heaven and earth.

And may be I was mistaken by generalizing my statement about past governors not paying salary, go and look at the history, except for Olagunsoye Oyinlola, check out how others fair in paying salary.

The truth is that, the best chance of Tinubu becoming the president of Nigeria is through a Muslim-Muslim ticket. He knows this, Atiku and the obedients knew it too which is why they just wish he will make a mistake at this junction of his political career.

The question really is, if Tinubu should choose a Christian as his VP, would CAN have campaigned for him? Would they have voted him? Choosing a Northern Christian would have just ended Tinubu's campaign even before it starts. It would automatically mean he's offering the same thing Atiku and Obi is offering -Muslim-Christian and Christian-Muslim ticket and he would have been at a disadvantage because Atiku is from a major Muslim region and his vice from a major Christian region. Obi is also from a major Christian region and his vice from a major Muslim region, it would have been suicidal if Tinubu who is from a minor Muslim region now picks his VP from another minor Christian Region, it just doesn't make sense.

The dynamics of politics changed when PDP, whom the South East and South South has always worshiped picked a northerner as their party flag bearer even when they knew the presidency should go to the south. They said they just want to win the presidency, I now wonder, if PDP/Atiku can jettison zoning so that they can win the presidential election, why should Tinubu be saddled with the responsibility of keeping the peace?

Those who will vote Tinubu will still vote him, those shouting Muslim-Muslim are those even if he picks a Christian VP, they still won't vote him. They are lamenting now because they know the Muslim-Muslim ticket automatically reduces their chances just as it boost Tinubu's. If he had chosen a Christian, they would have been rejoicing, saying, he's no master strategist as he's been called.

If Osinbanjo can be a mere commissioner as they called him and still calling him, I wonder why Kashim Shettima dey give them headache.
