The Osun State Gubernatorial Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja has overturned the declaration of Gboyega Oyatola as governor.
It has declared Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party as the winner of the election and ordered INEC to issue him a certificate of return.

It held that the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, were not validly returned.

Davido who was full of joy took both his Twitter and Instagram page to share the good news with his fans.

English rapper, Cadet has been killed in a ghastliness taxi crash mishap while on his way to perform at a gig at the Keele University. The rapper was 28 years of age when he passed on.
Blaine Cameron Johnson aka Cadet was heading to Keele University for the gig in Staffordshire when a Toyota Prius that was conveying him and a red Vauxhall Combo van smashed on Main Road, Betley at 1.30am on Saturday.

According to a report by Mail Online, The rapper passed on at the scene, while the two drivers were taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital with serious injuries. Three other passengers in the Toyota were treated for minor wounds at Leighton Hospital in Crewe.

Prior to the accident, Cadet’s photographer shared a photo of them going to the college for the gig.


His family affirmed the heartbreaking news, on the rapper official Instagram page;

It all happened after she posted a rape story on her blog about how two men identified as Razak Oluwaseun Oke and Don-Chima George allegedly drug their victim at a club before taking raping her and also filming their wicked act from start to finish.

However, she took down the story after it was reported that one of the fathers of the alleged rapists was the owner of De Lancaster Hotel. The ugly incident took place at De Lancaster Hotel in Lagos.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU ) has suspended their strike. The strike was called off after a two-hour meeting was held in Abuja between them and the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige on Thursday the 7th of February 2019.
The agreement between ASUU and the federal government is coming after following a conciliatory meeting in Abuja.

Chris Ngige, represented the Federal Government, while the lecturers were represented by the union’s president, Biodun Ogunyemi.

According to Ngige, both parties unanimously resolved the eight contentious issues that had prolonged the strike.

Ogunyemi speaking with news said;

“On Sunday, November 4, 2018, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) resumed its strike action, which was conditionally suspended on 14th September, 2017.

“The action of 2017 was suspended following the signing of a memorandum of action (MoA) in which the federal government of Nigeria (FGN) promised to address the contentious issues within a timeline that was to end in October 2017.

“While announcing the suspension of the nationwide action, however, our union made it categorically clear that ASUU will not hesitate to review its position should government renege on the signed Memorandum of Action.

“Predictably, Government implemented the MoA in the breach, thereby forcing ASUU to resume the suspended strike action. Comrades and compatriots, as we have always argued, the last thing ASUU members love doing is to cause disruption in smooth intellectual engagements with colleagues, friends and students right on our university

campuses. This has nothing to do with the dubious advertorial of non-disruption of academic calendar by proprietors and administrators of some cash-and-carry universities and other self-styled enemies of ASUU.

“Rather, it is about deep-seated pains members of the Union undergo to prevent strike actions and the equally painful consequences strike situations bring to all who are genuinely averse to the mercantile disposition to university education.

“The NEC has decided that the STRIKE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED.

“Academic activities resume tomorrow,”

American actor, Kristoff St. John who was popularly known for his role in Neil Winters on the long-running soap opera in 1991 dies at the age of 52.
The actor was found dead at his house in San Fernando Valley on Sunday the 3rd February 2019.

According to E! News, The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that St. John was found dead in his home in San Fernando Valley around 2 p.m. on Sunday. The cause he death has not to be revealed by the Authorities.

Recall in 2017, he was reportedly undergoing psychiatric treatment after an alleged scare regarding his mental health, according to Entertainment Weekly.

He won two Daytime Emmy Awards and was nominated nine times.

St. John was married twice and got separated from both marriages twice, first to Mia St. John, with whom he had his son Julian and daughter Paris. He later married Allana Nadal with who they both had their daughter Lola.

American rapper, 21 Savage has been arrested by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

According to reports, 21 Savage whose real is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, came to the United States in July 2005 when he was 12 years old but failed to leave when his visa expired in 2006, Immigration officials said.

The immigration released a statement concerning the issue which reads;

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present United Kingdom national Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph AKA “21 Savage” during a targeted operation with federal and local law enforcement partners early Sunday in metro Atlanta.

Mr. Abraham-Joseph was taken into ICE custody as he is unlawfully present in the U.S. and also a convicted felon.”

Mr. Abraham-Joseph initially entered the U.S. legally in July 2005, but subsequently failed to depart under the terms of his nonimmigrant visa and he became unlawfully present in the U.S.

when his visa expired in July 2006. In addition to being in violation of federal immigration law, Mr. Abraham-Joseph was convicted on felony drug charges in October 2014 in Fulton County, Georgia.”
