My friend has tried taking her own life since she graduated, after all d hard work and avoiding fun she ends up with a third class degree, she hasn't being able to tell her family her result because of the shame and reproach. With low self esteem, she is considering seeking admission to start over again or do a PGD. She despirately needs ur advise...
She doesn't need to waste her precious life. More so, the life she has the privilege of living out isn't hers, it belongs to GOD and as such, make her understand just that.
She can commence a PGD but this time with a firm decision to make amends academically before proceeding for a masters programme.
Remind her also that successful men like Prof. Wole Soyinka made a 3rd Class. It's not about the '3rd' in the 'class' but the resolute determination to make it in life that counts.

Thanks you so much guys.. I appreciate the info. Iamtheprincipal, for now.. I'm interested in any good school. I don't have a specific choice.
Padeolu please is the form sale is currently on how can I get it? Went to their website yesterday it was too confusing.

'good schools' in Nigeria have their strengths depending on the course of study.
Some of the schools does better in certain courses than others.
What do you intend studying in graduate school?

Education / Re: Police Shoot At Rioting Students In Rivers State Jamb Center by iamtheprincipal: 1:00am On Mar 05, 2015
OkpoloEye:
my name is frank and am a jambite...this is happening at rivers state jamb office located at D-lines, Port Harcourt and we are over 400 people there and we have all submitted our cards for reprinting .

firstly, we were suppose to reprint our photocard last two weeks but it was postponed till this week Monday, we endured.

now reaching Monday we came to reprint and they kept us under the sun from 8am to 6pm waiting to hear our names to no avail. and i myself didn't eat that day until 6pm and many others, they told us to come the next day(tuesday) .. we endured.

reaching Tuesday we faced the same thing from 8am in the morning till 6pm under the sun. we all got angry and a riot started , 30mims later we saw police drove in with great speed and was driving towards people, pointing their guns At us. it all ended moments later and we left.

Now today Wednesday we arrived jamb office and we saw police men everywhere. the most annoying part is that we still were not given our photocards which contains our center, dates, number etc.. instead at around 5:40 the police started shooting tear gas at us and started a stampede. we all ran for our lives and they started shooting at us. Some people fainted due to the effect of the tear gas and were rushed out looking for help. and i couldn't see clearly. some of us got angry and we started stopping incoming cars causing hold up and chaos. the police men still followed us and continued shooting at us not tear gas anymore. we were all running for our lives.

owners of shops and houses nearby had to close and lock up..we were looking for houses to enter for safety but no way

and we have not still collected our photocards and jamb starts on Monday and we have to go tomorrow . i dont know what will happen tomorrow.. we are scared!!. please mods take this to the front page so Nigeria can know what jambites are facing in Rivers State.
Frank, you guys need to be very careful when you get there tomorrow. Ensure you are far off from those causing trouble there.
The JAMB authorities sure has a way of addressing concerns as these and would do so soon enough.
Please, stay away from trouble.
I have a little cousin among you and would call her first thing tomorrow morning.

WHY WOULD THEY ARREST AN INNOCENT MAN WHILE THEY ALLOW THE FRAUDSTER IN CHIEF OYEDEPO WHO SCAMS GULLIBLE NIGERIANS EVERY SUNDAY WALK FREE

THE GATE KEEPER OF HELL IS ONLY HAVING A SHARE OF HIS MASSIVE SCAMS. BILLIONS HAVE BEEN RIPPED FROM POOR AND GULLIBLE MASSES IN TITHES AND OFFERINGS WITH THE PROMISE OF A BETTER LIFE IN HEAVEN.

THE PROCEEDS OF HIS BIBLICAL SCAMS IS USED TO FUND HIS LUXURIOUS LIFE WHILE THE CONGREGATION WALLOW IN POVERTY

HE BUILDS SCHOOLS FROM THE PROCEEDS OF HIS BIBLICAL FRAUD WHICH MANY MEMBERS CANNOT AFFORD.

I DON'T BLAME THIS MAN. HE IS JUST DIGGING HIS HAND INTO THE POOL OF UNENDING SEEDS SOWN WEEKLY BY GULLIBLE RELIGIOUS SLAVES
I'm really sorry for you.

I am watching the live broadcast of Omega Fire Ministries FIRE NIGHT where Apostle Suleman gave a stunning prophecy that he saw APC mourning their presidential aspirant. Although he said he prayed for God to avert it.What is your take? He also spoke about PDP removing Jega from office before election
I was present at the meeting; he warned the PDP against removing Jega and asked us to pray for Buhari.

exactly my thought. A woman sharing her income like that puts into question the husband's title as provider/head of household although I don't agree that a woman should hide her income from her husband.

Politics / Re: I Regret Not Having A Yoruba As Speaker. Jonathan by iamtheprincipal: 1:52pm On Nov 29, 2014
baLLoTBOxX:
Too late to shed crocodile tears. What did you do when a PDP leader was calling the APC a yoruba amala and ewedu party in anambra? You were seated there urging them on as they ridiculed awolowo. His spirit gave you a taste of disgrace to come when you visited a great university named after him, as the students chanted and called you and your cohorts thieves. Where's our lagos-ibadan expressway? Is it now you want to repair all the junk federal roads in lagos? Oh, you suddenly realised that the votes from SS and SE can't help you retain aso rock so you now. need those of the SW. I thought those 2 regions were the pillar of your government as you proudly announced to the world as if they were the only regions you that got you elected. Even if they were, should a president be making such divisive statements? I was never a tribalist but you woke up my tribal conscience. We are glad tambuwal became the speaker cos we yorubas aren't fools. That seat was a bargain for the huge political relevance we are enjoying today. Who doesn't know that having a yoruba man there via the fraudulent PDP zoning would have favoured you and only you as he would do your bidding just as the senate has been doing? The Mulikat you wanted to install is from my constituency in ogbomosho and I was on ground in 2011 when she came begging to be re-elected as she shared N500 notes to the people and dropped a transformer too weak to carry the load of the neighborhood. Her brake light hasn't been seen since then. That's enough to show you that you would have just empowered an individual yoruba instead of the whole of them. What did patricia etteh and dimeji bankole benefit the yorubas? They only enriched themselves. Your government enriches individuals only. We are not like fools who sing your praises cos you gave their tribes men political posts. What we want are developments. Am glad you failed in installing mulikat cos we would have faced the kind of thuggery the fayose you gave federal backing is delivery to the ekiti people. I hear you are bringing obanikoro for lagos. Bring it on! Why do you associate yourself with thugs, fraudsters, drug barons, militants and looters? Mr president, you disappointed not only the yorubas but also sane nigerians. We voted massively for you in 2011, am sorry to say this in tears: you won't have our votes anymore.
Thank you for being very thorough & objective in your analysis.
