Jascon4:
So since you haven't used them , how did you know MTN is faster ?

I'm not directly comparing them as they are fit for their customers, but I just believe for unlimited package, I'll be getting unlimited usage. For 25k you could get 120gb from MTN/Airtel but for 25k you can't get more than 50gb because of the throttle clause from them. I'd like to know if you currently use them so you can enlighten us better
At the end you'll go for what suits you

I've been married to my wife for almost five years now. My major problem with her is that she lacks gratitude, she doesn't have the spirit and character of appreciation.

Infact even if you buy a private jet for her, she will be happy at the moment but after 5mins she will forget that you've ever done anything for her and if you don't do things for her, you will see her complaining more than the way Nigerians are complaining under buhari.

This her attitude is really becoming unbearable.

Bros thanks your patience Na typical woman be that and that called marriage

Parachoko:
The 25k Router you wanna get will give you 4G speed

If you get the MTN 5G router, you will also get 4G speed on it till 5G become available in your area.

Well, the choice is yours

Naaa. 5g isn't my worry if not for unlimited access, but I'll just settle for 120gb per month for now

Parachoko:
I think is still going to work even if there is no 5G coverage in your area.

You first have to check for your location on their website, and that's not a bed I'm not willing to take

Jascon4:
Are you a current user of Coollink Konnect ?

God forbid! They are the official people of konnect in Africa. Called them up to 6 times to get them right.
Pro: you can use them any where in Nigeria
Cons: After 20gb you get get throttled to 5mbs/s after 30gb you get 1mbps/s and installation is quite on the high side but it's normal.

dustmalik:
Why not get the MTN 5G router instead?

No 5g coverage for my side. If ordering Starlink does not cut it, I'll just get a router and manage 25k sub for a month.

Ovaltine:
No further update from my side. The item is yet to ship and they just got their ISP license just a few weeks ago.
I think there is progress.

However, this Lithium mining rejection by FG might raise some eyebrows and might as well result to 9ja having a bigger offer.

Boss, just to confirm I wanna order one too but after the $99 do you think they gonna be charging extra for the router and antenna or the $99 is for the whole thing besides subscriptions.
Also heard some rumours about Virtual cards not working on their site, which did you use for payment. Thanks

Ovaltine:
Preorder

I just made my pre-order at $99.
I see the final price will still be around $500-600 relative to the price in North America.
The monthly payment will also be around $99.
Relatively reasonable price for such speed and reliability.

Preparation:
I have downloaded the Starlink app and I can point it up to see the stars (or rather the location of the nearest satellites).

I will post updates again when they start shipping and ultimately when I get the complete kit.

Head to their website to start your journey as well.

What's the update on your Starlink Boss?

BrickDevo:
Not affordable, minimum sub is $99

Set up is $99 on pre order.monthly sub should be at $40-$50 for people who need such speed that would be damn cheap

Jascon4:
You mean MTN hynetflex is a faster internet than Coollink Konnect ?

By far!

I am about to Spend 120k on Router and 25k/months for "unlimited" that throttles down to 1mbps after 30GB and caps at 25mbps. I just have to order Starlink this month.

It is eating me deep down they are not in my new Location

I am desperately searching for an ISP in Ikorodu. The ones that use Satellite have fair usage policy that is literal Robbery. Imagine after 10GB your speed drops to 5mb/sec. Na to pre-order starlink Bayi ooo.
Well I spend up to 22k on data each month

Good Day Dear Nairaland Family,

My Sister started behaving weirdly last few Weeks. She laughs alone, talks alone and is sometimes restless especially at Night.

Though she always responds well and correctly when engaged. I've asked her and she told me she doesn't know when that happens and it's unintentional.

I, on my part have tried talking to my Dad to take her to a Mental Health Expert, my Dad seems to believe it is spiritual attack instead.
Please, I need Medical practitioners in the house to help tell me what she's probably suffering from so I can Confidently convince my Dad.

Can you please help move this to front page?

Spiritual or not move her to a psychiatrist straight. Mental health is important and can be cured just like any other illness, but one must be quick about it.

What's it model number Sir

This is a tictok video and not a live broadcast
