Commercial banks don't print money. They create money through loans,deposits and others. CBN print money through Nigerian minting and printing company of Nigeria. They determine how much to be printed to replace damage cash in the vaults or for other purpose to such as what happened during Covid19. But in reality,commercial banks do not print money.

some dont have papers and cant come home, some used asylum format where you claimed your life is a risk, so going back home raises highbrows and you may lose you papers. Canada for example recently passed it into law, they will start tracking asylum seekers who go home. Some are broke- after bills the average person abroad has 100 dols to minus 200 dols as balance. Where will u see money for flights costing over 1k dols easily. Unlike today that it is easy to travel legally it wasnt so 20 to 30 years ago. Some also came home and had bad experience ( robbery,kidnap, police wahala, accident etc) and vowed never to come back, So dont think it’s deliberate.

The truth is that majority are suffering.
