Appleyard: If the voting system required 100 percent consensus, which all the member states agreed upon, then that is their ideal democracy. So, why trying to chased off one that refused to agree on one certain issue since each and every member also had the right to say no on certain issues? Must one day yes on or no all issues even if it runs against one's national interest? Isn't that undemocratic according to their own definition of democracy?
Trying to weave your way out of a glaring misnormal is tantamount to supporting Organ harvesters. Democracy can always be improved and they are trying to improve it since the 100% agreement doesn't reflect their overriding wishes. The process by which Orban will be silenced will also be within democratic framework |

How about ikpeazu and orji that borrowed and embezzled? Have they cut his head Ikpeazu budget was N160bln while Otti is N570bln, the difference is borrowing Ikpeazu is making Otti look like a reckless gambler right now while Otti is making Ikpeazu look like Peter Obi In 2 to 3 years, Otti will STOP paying salaries and pensions just like all the gamblers before him that went on reckless borrowing and development spree in their first year like Aregbe and Rochas, except that Otti has taken it to an unprecedented level Not to mention a good portion of that budget will be stolen outright |

Otti has been doing tremendous work day and night..
Abians love him.. The average man is generally stupid If Governor borrow $100bln and just fix ariaria market, average man will praise him. It is up to the educated to judge, not some hawkers who have never seen a budget before Otti borrowed N400bln to increase Abia budget by 3.5x. Abia state budget was N160bln last year, now N570bln Aregbesola financial crippling of Osun will be child's play compared to Alex Otti. Time is undefeated.

Appleyard: I don't understand why you guys are arguing back and forth on the total number of companies registered in the UK. This link to the government office of statistics should help lay the matter to rest. https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/incorporated-companies-in-the-united-kingdom-january-to-march-2023/incorporated-companies-in-the-united-kingdom-january-to-march-2023#:~:text=2.-,Main%20points,by%2069%2C926%20companies%20(1.5%25).
The bone of contention should, rather, focus on the initial post/news, which says 47,000 UK companies are facing risk of permanent closure. And someone went on to say even if those companies collapsed, they still have 5 million more left, but that isn't the real issue the news is trying to pass on regarding the potential catastrophe.
Here is the deal ...
Assuming that each of those companies has up to 20 employees on their payroll, that would be 20x47,000=940,000.
That means, if those companies actually becomes insolvent and forced to close down operations, a whopping 940,000 people would become jobless and thrown into the labour market. That's a red sign for any well meaning economy. The situation can even get worst considering that the reports says 30% of those companies are in the building and construction sector, which employs more people than most other sectors. It is better you talk to your man to help him understand how a country can have millions of companies than all this shalaye In a country of nearly 6 million businesses, 47,000 can shut down quite easily while 47,000 others spring up. . . .. . or their competitors consolidate and expand, absorbing employees from the ones that closed down. That's how capitalism works You should have helped us with UK employment stats than drawing false conclusions. You people on this thread should learn how to think like intelligent people, but alas, the IQ quotient of this thread is low as expected. Number of payrolled employees is expanding while you are chasing shadows

Joezinho: A South African team without Benni McCarthy. A team with old Lucas Radebe, and you think they stood a chance against Nigeria?
The team was already fading away after the 1998 AFC finals. What impact did they have on the African stage after the 2000 Nations Cup? All you need to know is they finished 1st in 1996, 2nd in 1998 and 3rd in 2000 The dispatched Ghana in the QF and topped their group |

Joezinho: You talked about the quarter finals but didn’t mention his impact in the group stages where he serially raped mustapha hadji and khale with the later running away from the game before the end after the constant knacking from okocha. Calm down. Morocco were nobodies in African football. Yeah they went to World Cup and did one or two but exited at group stages. From 1990 to 2004, I'm sure you can't name one AFCON where Morocco have made an impact. Even till today, they are still nobodies in AFCON. |

timbros: @bolded.... This is exactly how 442 of the 90s work. Then, no one expect a number 10 to fall back and do defensive works. That job is for the number 4 (what many call number 6 today).
And no, Okocha was not the left winger in that match. Okocha was the number 10.
I don't know what you guys problem is with Okocha in those two matches against Cameroun where he scored. In 2000, the game ended in PK shootout. In 2004, we won 2-1.
Cc Ibime Match ended 2-2 but if it was a boxing match, corner would have thrown in towel tay tay, they absolutely pummelled us. Go and compare to our semifinal against RSA where we dominated due to Okocha suspension The only difference was Adepoju for Okocha And no, teams did not play DM and flagrant delinquent AM then. England play Scholes as second CM, Italy play Dino Baggio or Albertini. Brazil play Kleberson ontop Gilberto Silva, France play Vieira or Petit as CM with Deschamps behind. Holland play Davids plus Cocu. The second CM was not a flagrant tactical delinquent like Okocha except in ay ay ay land. |

Who you don hate, you don hate am, but at least if you dey analyse Okocha, try dey talk everything as e be.
I know that you will somehow twist that match and blame Okocha for the loss. But it's fine. Who is the reason we were overrun in the first place There is a reason Oliseh, Finidi and Kanu played for tier 1 clubs while Okocha was in backwater No serious club will entertain a circus clown in their midfield that leaves so many holes around his partner, doesn't press his side etc. It is only Nigeria with Etim Essien ay ay ay culture that will accommodate such a player Okocha was played behind the striker at Fener and on the left wing at Bolton. He was a CM liability. Amokachi used to function as a midfielder to alleviate him, when Amokachi got injured against Italy in 1994, we fell apart |

Joezinho: Senior man, even if everybody talk this kind thing, you nor suppose talk like this na bros.
Have you forgotten afcon final of 2000? Lauren and Geremi abusing your Chelsea legend Babayaro all afternoon.. The only thing positive about us on the day was Jayjay.
Finidi and Oliseh were core passengers. The midfield was totally run by jayjay and he ended up scoring a wonder goal.
What about the 2004 Afcon, he pretty much carried that useless team.. The golden bronze we picked up was all due to Okocha..
Okocha not winning the 2004 African Player of the year is the worst discredit done to the African game. Okocha is the reason the midfield was overrun against Cameroun. Oliseh was working alone. All Okocha did in that game was score free kick. He was directly responsible for Camerouns midfield dominance Go and check how we dominated the semifinal against South Africa when Okocha was suspended and we had real midfielders rather than an "entertainer" in the middle. SA was a major team back then having won 1996 and made the final in 1998. We played them off the park showing some actual midfield functionality for the first time in that tournament, but no, they had to bring Okocha back in the final to dabaru everything. Then go and tell me how Okocha got red card in the quarter final against Senegal and we were on the brink of elimination till Oliseh had to come off the bench with malaria to bail us out with long pass to Aghahowa to turn round the tie from losing 1-0 in the dying minutes to 2-1 I will keep saying it, Super Eagles always played better without that circus footballer. USA 1994, his only start was against Italy. We were doing well till they gave him shirt. Olympics he was useless, Oruma was always the one coming on to change the game Be honest, can you let Okocha run midfield for your club in a 4-4-2 era? Your DM better have 5 lungs to cover him |
