Seun, thank you for the engagement, I think you need more of these productive engagements because we ultimately want NL to progress.

I am worried from your post that the Supermods are sabotaging your intentions for whatever reasons and you have aided them by completing a task you hired them for in the first place and not enforcing/holding them accountable, which buttresses my position on this thread.

You own this site and the consequences of these issues will fall on you and your reputation. It has become glaring that you need to clean house, especially since data confirms your Supermods are failing to ban these bigots or are indifferent about their activities.

The habits, interest, demographics and other dynamics of NL have evolved over the last 10 years and I will suggest the daily operation and management evolves with the time to limit the frequency of incidences like these.

Tribal slurs on Nairaland is same as it is on several other platforms. In life, it can't always be peace and love. Violence spices it up sometimes

The only problem is the biasedness in their moderation. The mods has friends and will look away even if you tag them when any of their friends breaks the rule. We experience it on this section.

I despise people like the guy in that video because they come with all sorts of bulllshitt when a person dies; bullshittts they can't say while the person is alive. Akeredolu has been married to the woman for over 30 years and they've enjoyed a fruitful and happy union even while he was in private practice. He has never for once made any statement that suggests the woman is taking advantage of him.

Now the man has blood cancer that took his life and a random nobody is spilling conspiracy theory about the woman being opportunistic and all sort of gibberish. If the woman believed in prayer, the man will most probably still die all the same. I remember Fayose's sister who is a strong believer who had breast cancer that year, she died eventually. The woman even celebrated her own death before she died eventually .(It was in Tribune newspaper that year)
