Melvyn11: Seems unless you win with 80% possession and 700 passes your achievement becomes non impressive and just there. A team that won 3 champions league titles in a row in it's current format is just there. Guardiola you do this one. There are many ways to skin a cat People only associate greatness with a definable identity within the remit of what they can quantify (tikitaka, catenaccio, total football, WM formation). If you no brand your winning style, you are not great. All na packaging. Real Madrid should have branded their 3 peat style. |

BlueMann: Callum Hudson-Odoi to Strasbourg, here we go!
Full agreement reached between all parties, Strasbourg set to pay €60m in four installments, Hudson-Odoi joins on a four year deal worth €6m per year.
Medicals scheduled for this weekend in France. Official announcement to come soon after. Is this a joke? Boehly will end in handcuffs by season end if this is true |

Saudi shouldn't dull, we still have cheap deals on the table. All these players are willing to take Muslim names like Austin "Muhammed Yavuz" Okocha and Uche "Deniz Uygar" Okechukwu did when obtaining Turkish citizenship
These players will have no problem confessing the shahada, la ilaha illallah. |

caracas: Oga in a fight between the lion and a tiger irrespective of size, the lion always wins cos of its stamina n doggedness. Funny thing is when it comes to battling other animals the tiger seem to appear stronger of the two. Meaning the tiger is far more deadly with other animals compared to the lion…. Not only Siberian tiger will kill lion, any species of tiger will kill any species of Lion. Tigers are bigger, stronger, more agile, and are solo killers unlike lions who run in gangs. Tigers are also much less friendly with zero forgiving spirit. A lion can actually let a human go, they have more conscience, while a tiger has less conscience than a reptile, |

Grizzly bear easily
It's obvious many don't watch nature programs
Gorilla is the most vulnerable, even anaconda can take him out if care is not taken
Cats always beat non-poisonous constrictors. Jaguars kill anacondas everyday in the Amazon
Leaving Lion vs Grizzly. The grizzy is powerful enough to break the lions back and tear off it's face with one swipe |

afrodoc2: I read the books too. The rule of thumb is that TV series are usually poor adaptations of the source material, with the odd exception here and there. That is why whenever i watch historical series i prepare myself beforehand, so that i won't spend the whole time criticizing.
The advantage The Last Kingdom has over Vikings is that it tries to keep an accurate historical narrative. Vikings, for entertainment value, conflated different Viking stories from different locales and even different time periods into the same narrative. For instance how can Rollo who died around 930 be the uncle of Ivar the Boneless who died 60 years before around 870. Rollo in particular does not fit with the Ragnar story but there are other smaller discrepancies. The lead actor in The Last Kingdom looks too soft, he is not as barbaric as the protagonist in the books and his accent as the narrator is off-putting. It would have been better without narration. Vikings series though not historically accurate was a good series until Ragnars sons came into play, then it all turned to nonsense. Thats when I stopped watching There is another Viking series on Netflix called Vikings Valhalla. The first season was fire, I'm yet to watch the second one. The best Vikings book for conversion to series will be the trilogy of books by Tim Severin. If that one is turned into series, it will melt faces. Tim Severins books had more entertainment/dramatic value than Bernard Cornwells. That story is like Vikings meets Passport of Mallam Ilya meets Count of Monte Cristo |

WrriterNig: 🤡 🇬🇷 Greece and 🇹🇷 Turkey are both "democracies", in NATO. They're on the brink of war You have always been very slow upstairs NATO is a military alliance, not an economic one like Brics The appropriate comparison is EU Turkey is not in EU. It is an autocratic state and is the one talking about resolving conflict by violence rather than dialogue. It is part of NATO for one reason and one reason only - its control of the entrance to the Black sea, not because of any ideological cohesion with other member states. In EU (or former EU) states alone, there are lots of territorial disputes eg Gibraltar between Spain and UK, Lake Constance between Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Gulf of Piran between Slovenia and Croatia, Dollar bay between Germany and Holland, Mont Blanc between France and Italy, Olivenza between Spain and Portugal etc etc etc. It is only hungry men and autocrats that fight over territory. |

This is the best there is. They stopped it prematurely after 2 seasons because of production costs. Historically acurate, excellent writing and acting.
2) The White Queen
3) The White Princess
4) Spartacus
5) Vikings
6) The Last Kingdom I loved Rome, Spartacus and Vikings Because of that, I need to check out The White Princess and The White Queen Not a fan of The Last Kingdom maybe because I read the books by Bernard Cornwell and find the series a poor adaptation of them, or perhaps because I can't stand the lead actor |

Vl3ly: ⚡️ 🇷🇸 Vučić: BRICS is a big question for the future
Membership in BRICS, which is becoming increasingly popular, is a question for the future, that is, for new generations.
- As far as Serbia is concerned, I cannot know what it will do in 15 or 20 years, but if BRICS is joined by Indonesia, which has announced the submission of a request, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ethiopia, if Nigeria is there, some of countries of Latin America, possibly Bangladesh, Iran, then the map of the world changes dramatically, underlined Vučić. What is the underlying philosophy that unites Brics? Autocracy? Democracies don't go to war with each other. No autocratic coalition can ever last because dictators will eventually fight. Inside the same Brics, India and China are the fiercest of rivals and China is doing all it can to checkmate India with Pakistan and co |
