hensben: David Doyle- I quite understanding you, but truth be told, UK Government has personal issues against Mr. Roman Abromovich that they do not want to openly say it, and he (Mr. Roman) himself has equally refused to say anything as regards to that, few years back they (UK Government) Barred him from coming into United Kingdom for anything, and one of the reasons they gave was that Mr. Roman was plotting against Mr. Putin and the Russian Government, I read that online, and that was when they wanted to hijack Chelsea from him, unfortunately for them he entrusted the club and every deal and transaction to Marina, UK Government didn't see any cogent reason to take Chelsea away from him, rather they felt that with the absence of Mr. Roman at Cobham, that Chelsea will run out of fund and collapse thereby forcing Mr. Roman to sell the club to anyone, and as at then, British Business men were warming up to buy Chelsea out of pity, but they were disappointed how Chelsea Flourished under Marina without Roman's presence...... Now Russia invaded Ukraine they now turned it against Mr. Roman that he is a very close friend to Putin, how can someone you barred from coming into UK few years back with the reason that he was plotting against Putin and his Government now turned out to be an Allie to the same man he was plotting against him and his government barely 3 years later? Isn't that madness? So they have direct hatred on Abromovich and Chelsea has been their utmost importance, and now they have it, so instead of Chelsea to Collapse and die, let the Arabic man buy it and keep its dreams very much alive...
It is well. This is rubbish |

Then we meet mancity, the only team to have decimated us completely in 2 legs this season, before meeting Bayern probably in the final. Hmmm, well In tuchel I trust. Let's see what he's got. Just reaching the semifinal alone of the champions league qualifies as a successful season. Bayern are not getting past Liverpool with Nagelsmanns style |

Good to see Marc Guehi in England squad
He's England's best centre back. Nigga is so calm in possession, and still rugged for the one on one battles
What impressed me is how he always shows for the ball regardless of the opponent. That's why he's always the top passer in almost every game he plays. You won't see a bottom half team with defenders on this list

Roland17: A myriad of issues escalated the situation between Niles and Arteta. Don't forget, Niles was an integral piece to Arteta's tactics when he first arrived Arsenal as coach. Arteta utilized Niles as a WB with the freedom to play higher up and the middle when we had possession and with his speed and technique he was a good cover on a back 5 defense. This tactic and relationship helped us win the 2020 FA Cup/ Community Shield. These performances also led to an England call up for Niles.
Niles was convinced he deserved a chance to play in the middle of the park, considering the issues we encountered in that area of the pitch, Arteta thought other wise and to make matters worse, Arsenal later got Lokonga in the summer of 2021. Prior to that Arteta had turned down a legit 20M offer from Wolves for Niles and Niles was interested in leaving Arsenal. Arteta promised him more playing time which never happened. Lokonga arrived and started getting more playing time in the middle and Niles believed he was better than Lokonga, a lack of playing time led to an even more frustrated Niles.
He is finally allowed to leave Arsenal on loan to West Brom where he played in his preferred midfield position with WB, nothing spectacular but decent, however, WB were relegated. After his return from WB, he remained frozen out of the team. Niles expressed his frustration on Social Media and Arteta did what he does best, he banished him to train with the reserves and blocked a deadline transfer to Everton.
At this point, the relationship between both was absolutely beyond repair and the locker room was already tensed, especially if you consider the bulk of Arsenal young players liked Niles because of the Hale end connection. He finally got his wish to leave and was loaned to Roma where he is barely getting any playing time. No way Cedric is better than Niles but like I said, a lot of things had gone wrong and he was disgruntled with his stagnation at Arsenal. In my opinion, while I think Niles overestimated his midfield abilities, he should have been allowed to leave Arsenal for Wolves when that bid came or even Everton.
All in all, it sad, especially when I remember he came through our Academy. E be like say the Niles fit be problem child with no home training if you check him mother doings. Maybe he fit done loose guard anyhow for training. |

TabletMan: Sometimes I just see some reasoning on nairaland and will be shocked. That someone hates a country doesn't make that person to be blindfolded by how things works After selling their oil in Yaun, they will still need forex to buy Western goods which they Cherish so much abi na Yaun Dem go use buy Lamborghini? Or will they start buying Chinese cars with so much Yaun that will be in their reserves? What of buying clubs and pumping money in UK football leagues? What of going to London to showcase their rides and expensive lifestyles? Some of the Western industries in China will not even export their goods to KSA if they're not paying in $or£ . This will just make China to be extremely rich and nothing else. Buying cheap oil from frustrated Sellers with unstable Yaun and selling your goods with $ and £. Well he is right and he is wrong The petrodollar system is what keeps the dollar strong Countries biggest expenditure is in energy and they must keep plenty dollar reserves in order to buy oil People can buy cars with their native currency If oil stops being sold in dollars, the dollar will lose its advantage But I don't see that happening any time soon. Nixon guaranteed Saudi Arabian security if they continue to sell their oil in dollars. Highest Saudis will throw China a small bone but they will still sell majority of their oil in dollars And where he is wrong and overoptimistic is that Bitcoin will replace the dollar |
