Correct, however your original post was about the devaluation of the dollar which is by definition a comparison to other major currencies. Loss of purchasing power is a seperate definition, but the dollar has not been devalued, it is getting stronger infact.

And, as Purchasing power goes down, wages should go up to compensate in an ideal scenario, but the dollar is as strong as ever. The effect of the QE of 2020 is yet to reflect on the dollar.
