basilico: The darn laptop is being investigated. The feds have it for three years. Post stuff from it and they could charge you. Post CP from it n you are in very hot soup. Why is logic so difficult for you? How are you wired? CP from it? lol. I wonder why Daily Mail didn't say they saw the CP on it |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: 2026 Midterm Elections Live! by Ibime(m): 1:53pm On Mar 30, 2022 |
basilico: they said it was russia disinfo first. I am not sure you understand that distributing CP is a crime. Giuliani and a lot of others have the copy the hard drive of the laptop from hell. If they posted all contents and it contained CP they could be charged with distributing CP. Trust me, there are a million ways of clandestinely giving that to cyberninjas who will leak everything. If Gaetz has it, who gave it to him? The Daily Mail who went through it raised drugs and sex issues, some contract negotiations etc.. I'm sure if they found something clearly criminal, they would release it. And even the tax question was cleared yesterday which was a possible criminal element It's virtually impossible that Giuliani will get that laptop before 2020 elections and Trump won't use clear criminality within it to campaign. Trump that plays smear politics |

benalvino3: Trump government still have to work with actors. They are called deepstate for a reason
And the dems will have a hearing impeaching him. Banana Republic You mean a President who can armtwist a foreign state to provide incriminating evidence against a rival cannot armtwist his justice departments to prosecute criminal activity on the laptop? You mean Gaetz, Giuliani, Trump and all the GOP bigwigs have it and have not passed it through lawyers to fish out the exact criminality contained therein and expose it to the authorities or the public at least? Even common media reports of the criminal activity contained therein will trigger a criminal investigation and consequences |

Since Gaetz and Giuliani have the laptop, and Trump's Government had the laptop since 2019, they should release the incriminating evidence and stop teasing and playing politics with GQPs mental health obsessions |

patrickmuf: Eguavoen and the players trained on that pitch at least 3 times before the match...I am certain that no how bad and corrupt the country is, if Eguavoen and the players were uncomfortable with the length of the grass, it would have been trimmed... It's either Eguavoens stupidity, or I'm not ruling out the possibility they don't have lawnmowers. Nothing will surprise me in Nigeria. We saw the farce at the Olympics. That pitch has never been cut since it was laid, otherwise you will see the lines on the pitch |

patrickmuf: A grade-b foreign coach is better for Nigeria than any local coach...
We were loooking for a goal yet Eguavoen opted for Sadiq and Musa when you have a much younger and more dangerous Amoo on the bench...
Our midfield play was also very poor... Could anything pass through that midfield with the state of that pitch. The pitch completely took midfield out of the equation |

Kilishihunter: Player attributes like holding ball to the ball too long when you're supposed to release a simpe pass, unnecessary dribbling to show off or throwing disastrous long balls to the target man in front when it's your main instruction, Senior man Bad pitch or not if we were good enough (or had good coaching) We would have buried those banku eaters yesterday, That loss just saved us from upcoming disgrace I think Europeans and Asians will struggle with Osimhen, our pace out wide, and the energy of Aribo and Ndidi in midfield |

Kilishihunter: Well personally I don't see why people should lament on Nigeria not making the WC cause if we couldn't beat the worst assembled Ghanaian teams in years with our Haram long ball taktics, Only God knows the kind of heartbreak they'll later dish to fans in Qatar, This Nigerian team would have done well in Qatar and on good pitches cos I believe we have some player attributes that European teams will struggle with |

Jodera: Na here be the crux of the matter.
Maybe they thought they might sneak in a goal then it'll be difficult for Ghana to peg one back due to the nature of the pitch, but god of soccer get other ideas
But if that's true, then Eguavoen is a very very stupid coach. He didn't even have an away goal to secure things in case something unexpectedly happens(like Ghana scoring first) but he knew Nigeria's strength is always ground balls and most of our players are European-based.
Foolish coach!!! Is Eguavoen not wise enough to know that the Ghanaians will come with spoiling tactics and hope to park bus, and Nigeria as the home team should have the bulk of possession? This problem may be even deeper than that. I suspect they don't have lawnmowers at that stadium because I did not see any lawnmower lines on that pitch. If you ask me, they laid that pitch few days ago and reasoned that they won't need lawnmowers to cut it before the match if they lay it with few days to the match. If a pitch has been cut, even a week ago, you will see the lines. Those fools didn't have lawnmower jare, and I doubt they had sprinklers cos I didn't see any moisture on that pitch to make the ball move. This looks like typical Nigerian cutting corners, building stadium to show-off with no consideration for the main Koko why the stadium was built. Like a Governor that will build road without drainage. Addo the Ghanaian coach brought off Jordan Ayew for a CM at half time knowing it's easy work to park bus on that pitch for the second half |

larride: Till today we are still having debates about State Policing. I am a big advocate for State policing.
I think I had a conversation about this subject matter with ibime during the EndSars protest and he was adamantly against state police.
Every policy will come with its cons and pros and it must be considered very well before implemented.
ibi.me made mention of something then, can you trust these current crop of Governors with the absolute power of police? Knowing that these same Governors are owing salaries of their work force, what do you think will happen when they now added the police to their payroll?
Where will state police funding comes from? State policing is an invitation to local Warlordism, personal militia and anarchy. Imagine Wike and Yahaya Bello in charge of State Police. It will be anarchy and assassinations all day. I always insist that Federal Government is a better performing Govt than State Govt who can't even fulfill basic obligations like salary payments. Why, because Federal Govt is answerable to the International Community, the UN, International creditors and investors, and international human rights bodies like Amnesty International etc. State Govt is answerable to no one. |

Kloppo: We Nigerians get our own for body but we are not worse than Americans and British people,walahii.....most atrocities we commit, it is mostly out of frustration, poverty and evil things our leaders do unto us.....
Why is that given Equal playing field with the whites after we JAPA and we dey dust them and perform better than them in all fields.... No race is more intelligent than another. The top 10% of people drive the innovation in a country and provide opportunities for everyone, even the bottom 10% For a Nigerian to travel abroad, he or his parents must have amassed some scholarship or money either through education or business so those Nigerians abroad are drawn from the top 10% of Nigerians for the most part. So you can't compare them to the whole 100% population in another country. And which country do you think is benefitting from that brain drain, still the Oyinbos who you say your people are performing better than. On the other hand, we have many Nigerians who came to UK to engage in blue collar labour when immigration laws were looser who are not from the cream of society and their kids make up a large part of the drill/knife-crime culture in London today, both Nigerians, Ghanaians etc. As to whether we deserve our leaders, that depends on our democratic ideals. People generally deserve the leaders they elect. That's why we are always arguing APC vs PDP, supporting authoritarian regimes like Putin/China and co instead of aspiring to democratic ones, or defending the most corrupt amongst us because they are from our tribe, and our expectations of our leaders are the low of the low. Do you know there will be a public outrage, public enquiry and some resignations in England football structure if England failed to qualify because they played on a pitch not fit for dogs, like Super Eagles did today? We won't hear phiam about it in Nigeria tomorrow. Anything that comes from such mindset is deserved. |

larride: During that period we were running a REGIONAL government.
West - North - East before the Middle Belt was created in 1963.
Everyone region during that period was running a “My People” policy.
Awolowo/Akintola policy was a Western policy that favor the west, same with the Eastern and Northern bloc. It makes no sense to be blaming Ahmadu Bello for prioritizing the people of his region like the way the others were doing.
Let’s talk about Gen Ironsi who destroyed the regions and declared a unitary government. If it wasn't Aguiyi Ironsi, it would be someone else. The tribe is not important. Which African country didn't fall to military coup after independence, and which military leader will choose to rule a loose federation rather than a unitary Government? Military by nature is a Unitary structure. |

jedisco: From what I gather, it's a decentralised chain that allows a switch between differen L1 tokens in their native form.... I'd look into the utility and inflation of the coin That sounds like STG. Let me look into that. L1s literally pay hundreds of millions in bribes for L2s to bring themselves over to their networks. If Rune can switch seamlessly, that would be a goldmine. That would also make Rune a Layer0 like STG |

jedisco: Regarding meta coins, I'd like to go with their L1s, waiting for a monthly close to make a choice....
Regarding L1s, I believe after the upcoming eths merge, most of them whose only narrative is cheaper fees will fizzle out. L1s are already picking up too just like during the second rally last year. Luna was the first to retest ATH. It seemed to stall below 100 as it waited for bitc0in to break the weekly resistance before popping out. I partly expected this and upped my luna bags a bit.... I'm guessing Avax will be the next.
Other L1s I'm considering are Rune, Hnt, chz... just because they do something different than the rest. Any insight on rune or other L1s with a different utility? Regarding Thanks. No I'm not familiar with Rune but I can see it starting to make ripples. I'll have to research that one more. |
