For the avoidance of doubt the UN partition created 2 countries - one with 99% Palestinians and one with 40% Palestinians and 60% Jews. It did not require anyone to move or give up land

All it was is that the Palestinians did not want to live in a State where they are 40% minority and would not have the political power in that state and launched a war of extermination. You can draw parallel with Igalas gerrymandered into Anambra State. The Igalas in Anambra still have their villages and lands, no one took it from them, but some may be annoyed they were not districted into Kogi State where they can perhaps form more of a majority
