benalvino3:Are you sure about that? Reverse is more likely the case. Nigerians don't often bother diagnosing malaria unless it gets serious, you just know the feeling when malaria is coming on, which is the same feeling with Covid. You could die and they will call it malaria, brief illness or old age. From a purely statistical point of view, would you estimate that more than 2 million Nigerians have access to Covid test or autopsy at will? From a population of 200 million. A good statistician will assume Nigerias 3,000 deaths as belonging to that 2 million people only, and extrapolate outcomes to cover the full 200 million population. |
benalvino3:You can't die of Covid, or even with Covid in the UK even at home and go undetected. In Nigeria, 90+% of Covid deaths will go undiagnosed, that's the point |
benalvino3:That kid smeared himself by wearing that MAGA hat and refusing to move out the way of his elder. The maga hat tells us what we need to know about his disposition. In accounting for legal cases, you payout on probability and the case is all hearsay and open to interpretation. You won't take a risk taking that case to court and payout a small percentage of your total exposure based on probability eg if the boy has a $10m.dollar suit, you may pay him $1m to settle if you think he has a 10% of winning the full claim, rather than expose yourself to the full liability. The kid is still a douchebag with no respect for elders, and racist inclination. The media characterisation of him is still valid |
benalvino3:What a foolish summation. In which country was Covid not imported from abroad? So the matter ended with those who came from abroad and there was no local transmission? You sound like Kano Govt last year. The below is going on all over the country. There will have been many deaths due to "brief illness" and "old age" that would be counted as Covid in another country with the resources to test and investigate. That's why I said Covid is a rich man's disease. I personally know of two people who died of Covid in Nigeria, Mrs Graham Douglas and her brother. Another of my friend popsie died of pneumonia in the early days of pandemic. We don't know if it was Covid and didn't question it because it was a stigma at the time of his death. Don't know a single person who died in UK, I only know of a colleagues husband who entered a ventilator but survived. So that should tell you that what you have is assymetry of data. Keep deluding yourself. When life is cheap and people die from ailments at home, what's one fever from another? Only juju kills Africans, never an identifiable illness.

Kimbeast:Well the other Messi seasons are 60, 59, 59, 58. . . .and assist go boku |
benalvino3:Ok, I thought he gave you money inside from they way you were ejacülating with all caps. |
AIT1:I am..I need to complete some KYC questionnaire they sent to my email |
basilico:Relying on those stats in a county where only 10% of deaths are officially recorded, and only the rich and privileged 1% like Benalvino3 and Basilico will go for testing is a practice in self-delusion. Covid is a rich man's disease. Only the rich die of it in Nigeria which has 3,000 deaths and half of them are prominent people like Chief of Staff Abba Kyari, a serving Senator Buruji Kashamu, a former Presidents wife (Shaghari), a two-time Governor (Ajimobi), ex-Deputy Senate President, a former Ambassador, former PPMD MD, Gani Fawehimni son just to name a handful. What are the statistical chances that Covid chose so many prominent people out of only 3,000 Nigerians who have died from it? Just like last year when so many prominent people in Kano were dropping like flies from brief illnesses until CDC went there to do retrospective test and found Covid present. All unrecorded, as well as the deaths within the 99% of the population who don't even have the financial means or mental awareness to take anything other than antiMalarials whenever they catch a fever, or the North where you die at home and get buried same day under Islamic rights. Even people in Abuja now are complaining of a feverish virus going around but it's just one of those things until someone dies from "brief illness" Same story in Ghana, what are the chances that only 1,000 Ghanaians died and Covid chose Jerry Rawlings to be among them? I don't know anyone personally who has died of Covid in UK, yet I know two in Nigeria, yet UK is reporting 50 times more deaths from Covid. You have 70% of your population who reside in the North, untested, and test only your privileged people in the South, yet opening mouth like cho cho cho. Shey na only Edo and Lagos Covid dey for Naija, North no follow. Las las Covid na scam. If you ask me, given the low access and reporting, I will multiply any stats Nigeria is producing by a factor of anything between 20 to 100.

PDPGuy:If it's based on that, the proposal will sail through. Every Concacaf and Asian country will also vote for it including some Carribean Islands with population of few thousand whose vote counts the same as any other country If World Cup is every two years, there will be no calendar for UEFA and AFCON qualifiers though. Maybe UEFA will call their bluff and pull out of FIFA, another way that money talks |
basilico:Nigerias call to make, however based on underreported data - the 800 figure. Covid is a rich man's disease in Nigeria, for those that can test at the snap of a finger. |
benalvino3:How much did he give you inside? |
popizaino:Why? |
Nothing more infuriating than a referee who never played football |
City have been playing without striker all season. Lack of striker is no excuse. When you set your team up to play defensive football to protect your DM weaknesses, it's at moments like these, you would not be fluid enough to win games easily. City could play Zinchenko and Cancelo in the front 3 and win consistently because of their attacking set-up. I keep saying only a fluid attacking team who create numerous chances can wrestle league from City and Liverpool. You can't park bus to winning the league like cup competitions just because you have an inadequate DM We play Liverpool and Chelsea in January. Could be out the title race by mid-January. And someone tell me why Barkley will not be tried in the no9 position the last 2 games or at least come on in the front 3, yet Saul is coming on |
raumdeuter:Just like Jose Camacho is Peruvian name though it means nothing in Inca language, or a Suleiman Abdulkareem in Kwara having no meaning in Yoruba language. As long as it's recognised culturally, no problem. Pepple for example is Perekule, the European traders couldn't pronounce it and shortened it to Pepple. Jumbo is Jubo, JaJa is Jubo Jumofem, same reason, ease of trade. JaJas descendants now are bearing surname JaJa, first name English name, so you will be seeing Stanley JaJa, William Pepple, Emmanuel Jumbo etc |
I think DonJ meant to say erasure of language will lead to better communication and globalisation but he misspoke and doubled down on it. Losing African language means little to some of us from South South. We only have to travel 2km to see another village speaking a different language so we all communicate in pidgin. I doubt up to 10% of Ijaw youngsters living outside their village can speak their language. Language is just a tool of communication for us. |
hensben:I said it that you must have grown up in Francophone country from the way you structure your sentences. Oya knack us small French, Emmanuel Adebayo |
donjazet:Yes, Ijaw and some Yoruba on the coast have a different experience from those inland. The colonials made contact with the Ijaw on the coast to go inland and bring slaves and Palm Oil. That's why these guys took English names since the 1800s. Ijaws kept slaves themselves and were never slaves. |
Leeds should hurry up and relegate so we can pick Raphinha for the low |
iamoyindamola:Nobody was slaves to the whites my man. Ijaws were slave traders and palm oil traders and picked English names for ease of trade. Just like English pick surnames based on trade or certain characteristics eg Shearer is the vocation of someone who shears sheep while Smith is a common name for a blacksmith. Surnames are alien to most cultures until they are forced to pick one for legal and trade reasons, same with Ijaw people |
See as Arsenal dey flog Leeds wey hard us like complex calculus |
Why did Smith Rowe have to score na. He's a major differential |
raumdeuter:Goodluck Jonathan is an African name, just like Bode George, Tammy Abraham, Jack Pepple, Rex Lawson, Andrew Jaja etc. It's a cultural something, leave am. |
donjazet:Capdan21 is not Capaldi Abeg help me ask Capaldi what is his problem with Chimamanda |
Coins I'm watching and will DCA on a dip to $42k AVAX CRV EGLD ENS Most of my Capital would still be locked away in BUSD for a further capitulation |
iamoyindamola:I bought that Watkins just 2 hours ago, not for hit sha |
iamoyindamola:Rookie player. ![]() Don't take any hit this period. |
Trevor012:Don't you think his life experience affected his view? The data is just for you who will argue it's anecdotal |
Roland17:Na South you dey even talk. Try North, same day burial, no investigation, no questions asked. |
afrodoc2:Healthcare na magic na. Many times when people die in Naija, to find out the real cause na wahala because primary diagnosis sef hard. A radiographer friend told me how President Goodluck came to commission 1.5T MRI scanner in her state when she was practicing in Nigeria, that it was the only one in her state and one of handful in the whole public health infrastructure. This is someone practicing on 3T scanner in a small hospital in UK that even the local councillor probably won't bother to commission. |
Pesin wey be Doctor wey done work and experience healthcare in Naija, Caribbean and Australia say mortality rate in Nigeria is poor, dem say na inferiority complex Same leprous fingers will later blame ogbanje when small pikin die for neighbourhood |
jasp12:Thanks bro, joined |
