Besides a 3-4-3 can turn to a 4-3-3 with one defender moving to DM or CM position. or become 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 with an attacking midfielder dropping to midfield, or a 3-2-4-1 with the wing backs as actually wingers, now if you had such flexibility would you change it?

This formation was only for one reason - lack of a functional DM, so required another defender to cover the runs from midfield.

Tuchel could sneak through tournament football but we haven't forgotten how Aston Villa, West Brom, Leicester, West Ham and co were peppering us and dominating us too regularly for our liking.

First priority is striker, that's a £100m spend. We can manage the system for now to prioritise a striker signing.

Last season Mount, Kante and Mendy were miles ahead of Jorgiboy without question and Azpi, Silva, Rudiger arguably so. Others would be ahead of him if not for injuries or changes of system.

Sarri season, again Hazard, Willian, Kante, Kovacic, Azpi were undoubtedly ahead and he was one of the worst players.

Nobody can place Jorginho in the top 5 players in Chelsea throughout his spell, so supporting him to win UEFA best is a no-no.

What you will have is a carryalong commanding prestige and wages and continuing to fit the team to his pattern of play going forward when actually that's a position we should be looking to upgrade to be consistently successful.

Consistency in the league will prove whether protecting him by parking bus works consistently. Anyone can park bus to win a tournament with specific preparation and tactical instructions, but parking bus to win 30 out of 38 games is a different kettle of fish.

So far as I see, no Chelsea manager has had a different profile of DM to work with so of course they will do what they have to do with what's available.

You are looking at award and bragging rights, I am looking at the future of the club. An award for an undeserving player who is not top 5 in Chelsea players in any season he has played only comes with future traps - him getting a long term contract at a salary befitting of a UEFA Men's POTY etc, carrying a liability forward that you have to live with for the next few years and cannot shift easily to another club, just because he had a lucky summer.

I may allocate 1 or 2% of my portfolio to that coin if it's a small cap or a risky pick, and cut my position within minutes if it breaches certain levels whereas someone just copying could put half their money in there, HODL and get burned. Nothing like "half his fans". It is a minority. An inconsequential minority. No player is ever loved 100 percent by the fans. Eg, go to barcas thread last season and see some of them complaining about Messi, saying their football was now entirely about Messi and wishing he left for their tiki taka to continue. Some even hated that the entire club bowed to Messi.
No matter how good or bad a player is, some fans will always fault and hate some of their players.
Havertz has his doubters,rudiger has his doubters,mount has his doubters,likewise kovacic, likewise Silva, Christensen, chillwell, azpi, pulisic etc.
Every single player have a section of fans unsatisfied with aspects of them and keep wishing for ultimate perfection. It is down to the wise ones to acknowledge and celebrate when any of the players have certainly improved tremendously.
You can not rubbish a reputable international award because a player you don't like has won it. You are no better than reputable footballers, journalists and panel of judges that award this.

I always keep it on 15 mins on top gainers and if I see massive volume with a pump, I then check 5 mins, then 1 min to ensure it was not a flash pump.
