Truth is TAA has no business being a defender and it is obvious for anyone to see. His skillset are useful in the middle of the field or in front.. Opponents like Madrid are taking advantage of his lack of positional awareness and exploited it today.

I think he's going through a bad patch and needs to rediscover himself.

His performance against Leroy Sane a couple of years back showed there is a good defender there and he just needs to find his balance between attack and defence. I think he is getting carried away trying to rediscover his attacking form and his defensive game is struggling. Sane was eating up every rightback at the time but TAA handled him very well.

Zouma is not a 3-4-3 defender and certainly not a left sided one, plus his confidence is at rock bottom. If you are talking 3-4-3, I have already said Zouma does not belong in the starting lineup. If you are talking back four, he is our best centreback.
