iamJ:Where was Salah called lazy, and by whom? iamJ:This is a silly comparison exposing your lack of knowledge. No centreback is lazy because centrebacks do the least running on the pitch. What a wawu. |
Sailor1:Thanks. I wasn't sure where the bottom of the last dip would finish and was busy working so before I checked again, it was back on the move. I haven't gone in too heavy so happy to hold the position for a while. |
swiz123:You are talking to IamJ who backed the biggest rugby league player Chelsea has ever seen in Bakayoko while those of us with eye for technique rejected and warned against his signing. I keep repeating, we don't compromise on either technique or work ethic. Players must have both. You and your bunch of ninnies think you can excuse players from working hard and categorise players into artists and artisans. That's how teams develop structural problems. There is no single lazy player in Man City or Liverpool. James Maddison already told you football is a running game and no lazy player can enter Leicester team. The lazy ninny Havertz isn't even anywhere near an artist , rather is technically one of the worst players at ball retention in Chelsea on a par with Bakayoko at losing the ball like a semi-professional. |
As the big boy just crossed 50, I just reentered some midcap Aüülts |
iamJ:Everton were ready to cough £35m for Zouma and made a bid, but Chelsea needed him due to transfer ban. The wahala is Rudiger who no club wants to pay for and keep teasing us with loan deal where they will only pay 50% of his wages.
|
iamJ:As someone who backed our biggest flops in Morata, Bakayoko, Kepa and now Havertz, you should respectfully mechie onu dia!
|
FBS:You are always dismissing report. Show me which club statement told you about the Gallas incident . Is it not report? When you read report, you also engage your own powers of deduction. For example, you dismissed me when I said Lampard did not want Havertz, but if you apply your own powers of reasoning, you would believe the report just from the difference in treatment of Werner and Havertz when they were both out of form. You could see that Werner is a signing that Lampard staked his reputation on, while Havertz was not. It wasn't till Lampard was sacked that multiple reports laid it out for you that Lampard never wanted Havertz. Now Marina met with Sarri right there in Wembley and told him to cool off that she will handle the matter. If you apply common sense, you will know that no CEO will allow a £72m asset to be in danger and will try clean up the matter. We saw what happened with Costa and Conte and how things went sour when Conte went off on his own to deal with the matter. And the club even scolded Conte for dealing with Costa in that manner and told him to leave the matter to them. They even cited it in the court case over Conte's compensation that Conte cost them money by his treatment of Costa. Why are you talking like a novice? Also it shows lack of awareness that you think a player will pull that stunt on any manager and he will not be seriously aggrieved. How do you expect him to maintain control over the rest of the players? No wonder even common Rob Green was disrespecting Sarri to his face that season. If one of your children disrespect you, won't you want to discipline them well to set example for the others? This is common sense. What Kepa did was very egregious to Sarri and to the club. You can't just sweep it under the carpet as something that Sarri took lightly. |
FBS:Gallas showed defiance behind closed doors. We only heard it from rumours later. Kepa showed defiance in front of the whole world. Which is worse? All the remorse talk later is just his agents and managers cleaning up his reputation which Gallas never got the chance to do as his fückup was not in the public eye. And how do you know about Sarris complaints or not. You are only yarning because Sarri is a gentleman that can negotiate behind closed doors unlike Conte that would have dragged Kepa in public. Of course Sarri was mad, but Marina had to go in and clean the matter. If Sarri had more power and a better backup keeper, I guarantee Kepa would not see shirt again that season. Imagine doing that to Mourinho, Pep or Klopp, they would have turned him into Casillas and banished him to the bench forever, but instead he was only dropped for one game and given a light rap on the wrist. https://metro.co.uk/2019/02/27/chelsea-chief-marina-granovskaia-unhappy-kepa-decision-bust-maurizio-sarri-8760948/ |
Sailor1:Guy! This post made too much sense. I had subconsciously followed this progression from Majors to Mid-caps returning 10-40% here and there, except G.R.T which returned me 90% but this post really spelled out the progression for me and gave me the confidence to enter an unlisted microcap called A.P.Y which I had been eyeing up which returned me 140%. At the same time, moving cautiously enough as this post spelled out, to exit all positions by Saturday night. I joined this cycle late (1st Jan) and while I have taken decent profits, it was probably too late for anything life changing. I am also one of the lucky/unlucky few to have been in E.T.H in 2017 but exited too early in September 17 and missed a huge opportunity then. I am now eyeing opportunities to accumulate holdings during the next bear market to try and make the next bull cycle life changing. Which brings me to my question - where do you see the bottom for B.T.C after this cycle is over? Given we've had a lot of Institutional investment this cycle, I would expect a much higher bottom for the next bear market. I would appreciate if you have any thoughts on the matter. Thanks. |
airmark:I don't blame him too much for this, although it added insult to injury. Like I said, any defender can get dribbled one-on-one. Most defenders know Robben will.cut in on his left but can't stop it. His real crime in this game was the corporate shoe clearance he used to concede the corner for the second goal, knowing Soucek had already scored twice from corner and the way Antonio finished him all game. My guy was shaking like a fish out of water every time Antonio was racing him down, even if he had 10 yards head start, he would still find a way to boot the ball the ball for corner, throw-in or a hapless clearance back into the danger zone. |
FBS:You said Sarri didn't complain and I shouldn't carry the matter for head. I said Sarri complained and only politics and financial interests made him cool down and allow the club clean up that matter. Well, Sarri had to protect his financial interests by towing the club line and not throwing his toys out the pram, but I as a fan with only emotional interest am allowed to carry the matter for head. That's just it. In our days of football, any disrespect to the club and you are out. Just like when Gallas threatened to score own goal if not given a new contract and was exited immediately. I'm sure you wouldn't take such matter lightly, or have you turned into indomie generation Chelsea fan? |
FBS:That's not a mistake, that was a massive disrespect to the club. What do you mean Sarri didn't complain. Sarri that stormed down the tunnel chewing cigarette frantically and had to be dragged back onto the pitch Don't confuse money matter with moral matter. If Kepa was a youth player, Sarri would demand they tear up his contract that very day. Na because Sarri no want lose millions in compensation he didn't storm out and let the suits handle the communication around the matter. On top.of that, his performance stinks.so you.kmow he is already in the bad books from Sarri matter and almost 2 years of stinking performances. |
raumdeuter:This is nothing like the Zouma one. This one Valverde knows the guy is through on goal. Zouma would do the same. The Neves one, Zouma is playing the probabilities that the guy won't get the shot off before being crowded out, it's on an acute angle and on his left foot so he doesn't need to do anything drastic but play the probabilities. |
raumdeuter:Kepa clears that ball easily if he wasn't a püssy. Zouma is not faultless technically, far from it but he has ten times the defensive awareness of Rudiger, and routinely deals with situations that Rudiger will turn into a funny moment. Same with Thiago. They know how to cut shït out by sensing danger. Rudiger is just a community defender in a back 3 who never sees anything or does anything to deal with situations, just lucky that there are more bodies around in a back 3 so his cluelessness isn't exposed as often as it should be. |
MercylessMercy:You can hate any player you want if they are awful sef. I hated Bakayoko before he even kicked a ball. Havertz hatred is due to laziness and poor ball retention. I don't hate Rudiger, just a mild dislike. But 4 years of brainfarts is enough my guy. It's taken that long to dislike him. No two games or even 20 games of good performance will make me ever accept Kepa. I rejected that fool from the day he made a mockery of Sarri by refusing to accept his substitution in Carabao Cup final.
|
User09:But not the strength to execute and deal with what he read. If he read a pass right and bump shoulder with the striker while trying to clear, he will still end up on the losing side. |
raumdeuter:Not everything is by rushing. Sometimes you have to try to delay till your teammate join you. That was just great execution by Neto. Most times, the player there makes a misstep or cuts the wrong way, buying the microsecond needed for Kovacic to join Zouma and double team him. |
MercylessMercy:You are allowed to hate your own player after 4 years of uselessness. |
airmark:This is the Corporate shoe nigga we know and love. His brain and feet are never in communication with each other and always discombobulated. Rudiger is a real life FIFA PlayStation glitch. You get the West Ham own? |
raumdeuter:Anyway player can be dribbled one-on-one. This is not what defenders are judged on, rather the routine clearances and cutouts they make or fail to make. |
Unlimited22:Corporate shoe movements. Same way he can't explain that jump he did against Vardy three weeks ago that caused the second goal. The Corporate shoe has a mind of its own. |
Unlimited22:I agree. Back 3 is not Zoumas strength as emphasis is more on passing and speed of passing than defensive skill. He remains our best back 2 defender, and the only one with sense of danger along with Thiago. The other two (Chris and Rudiger) can never smell danger and cut it out. |
airmark:This is unfair. Any player can get dribbled. Being dribbled doesn't make you a bad defender. Let's keep the criticism genuine and highlight routine clearances or cutouts that Rudiger always somehow manages to turn into a disaster. You get the Sheffield United one last season? |
Unlimited22:He does this corporate shoe brainjerks all the time. Rudiger is the only defender I know that will turn a routine clearance into a goal or corner against Chelsea. Airmark, you get that Sheffield United one? |
User09:That's to be expected as the only manager to prosecute a season with youth team players and transfer ban. |
airmark: ![]() Rudibaba! This is what we know him for. You get the three brainfarts in one match Vs West Ham last season, or the Sheffield United one? |
BikeMan:One swallow does not.make a summer. They are fighting so hard, they have only won 3 games in 24 this season. Looks like an easy game to me. |
User09:Sorry, I'm discussing with Chelsea fans with memory, not newbies who followed Kai from Bundesliga to just start watching our club recently. |
Unlimited22:You know the Bundesliga guys here have an agenda, from Rudiger to Kai. We must oppose false narratives by fake Chelsea fans with the memory of a firefly who make arguments during momentary euphoria and can't think past the last 3 weeks . Abeg Airmark, give us the gif of that Dzeko goal from Roma 3-0 hammering in 2017/18, let us enjoy some Rudiger highlights. |
Unlimited22:False. He caused Leicesters second goal just weeks ago and we will never forget his brainfarts against West Ham and Sheffield last season. Right from the days of Conte, he's been a brain farter. Some of us have long memories and won't forget the Roma game in a hurry, and several other games in Conte's last season. Even under Sarri, he still brainfarted regularly. Even last week, he still brainfarted. Na just easy opponents and 3 man defence dey give that guy pass. No wam. Na here we dey. |
BikeMan:Newcastle, Sheffield and co are easy games. Like I said, every manager will get a tough run at Chelsea. |
Nobody should try to sell us Rudiger here please. Make I close my mouth.
