1Sharon: Loool.. its actually cheaper to bring oyinbo food as packed lunch tho cos our african food stuffs are imported Maybe sandwiches and yoghurt lol, but if they want something warm, our african foods will end up being the better choice because homemade chips and burger will just end up soggy hahaha so they'll just end up getting it fresh from outside anyway To be honest, the most 'ethnic' food I've seen at work is probably rice, never seen anyone eat soups in the office lool |

1Sharon: She's got a point sis.
She said before those Nigerians left for the west they were eating doughnuts, burgers to set themselves apart as posh, but when they get to the west, they start eating Nigerian foods again, why not just carry on eating the burgers and doughnuts you were eating back home? Lool maybe they're trying to save money by bringing a packed lunch now, who knows |

It's common courtesy not to bring strong smelling foods into shared spaces but this one just has an inferiority complex
It's one thing to acknowledge that some foods have strong smells, especially to people who aren't familiar with it and another thing to attribute it to being dirty and lower class like she's doing.
There are Nigerian dishes that have a neutral smell that people can bring into the office alternatively so it isn't necessarily a 'Nigerian food' thing
British 'office' foods that 'stink' as well:
- Vinegar with their chips - Cheese and onion crisps - Greasy bacon - Microwaved scotch eggs - Marmite |

Kobojunkie: When that happens, it is conveniently interpreted to mean that mummy poisoned the hearts of the kids against their father. The woman is always at fault where the average Nigerian father is concerned. It's happening already, accusations of the mum poisoning the kids against their father to shift blame for the dad's failings If you treat your kids well they will recognise it, eventually they grow up from the impressionable children they were to adults who can observe for themselves. |

You’re painting this like the guy was a total saint.
He said he has admitted to being a serial cheater and has also hit her before, the way you’ve glossed over any form of culpability he has is so typical. Only God knows what else has been downplayed or omitted from the story
I was expecting to feel really bad for the guy but then just ended up shrugging.
There’s likely a lot more to the story that you may or may not be aware of but your bias is glaring |

I just don’t see Nigeria preserving them well. The average Nigerian likely doesn’t care but better to have it back than with Germany, even if someone ends up breaking it on the way on an okada lol
Hopefully they end up in Edo state and I don’t mean Oshiomole’s cupboard. Somewhere they’ll be appreciated, maybe
Monetary compensation would be nice but we all know where that would go |

femisplash: I would have taken this comments seriously if it had come from a place of consciousness. Pray tell, any parameters that previous Government were better than this Government without disregarding the challenges ( basically global and human) at the step of the way. A more deadlier challenge is the retooling of social media in controlling the minds of its user most of whom are largely ever naive and unsuspicious. Are people getting paid from you taking comments ‘seriously’? Why are you telling me this? I don’t care lol I don’t believe I made mention of any previous government either, after all we’ve been hearing that Labour Party have no ‘past’ so what do previous governments have to do with my comment? I’m focusing on the shit governance that APC have served for almost the past decade and now hoping for a better future If Labour also mess up, I’ll talk about it too |

But if ever the situation involves a parent losing their child, imma be an emotional mess for the rest of month. Exactly why I don’t do the mother-baby unit or pediatrics. I don’t blame you at all, I’d be in such a state smh |

cococandy: Honestly nothing is medically impossible.
I’m currently nursing oncology patients with cardiac complications. So basically cancer patients who have gone into heart failure and there’s no day my heart doesn’t shatter into a million pieces because there’s a mom sitting by her once healthy 19 year old who’s about to chose end-of-life care instead of pursing various cures because they’ve accepted the reality that the kid is going to die. It’s usually not even the patients themselves but the pain in the eyes of family that will have you sobbing in your car on the way home. I’d be in tears everyday, one of the reasons I never pursued a career in the medical field, I know myself. Shoutout to all the medical workers <3 |

This isn’t tough at all. Easiest decision ever. She wants to leave, she should leave. It’s the best decision for she and the kids. Hopefully she has planned everything out and has something to sustain herself. Men are more likely to leave their partners when they’re sick so the emotional blackmailers should piss off with the nonsense talks of being a good wife and staying. Maybe he can get a sexy nurse to look after him, this could actually be destiny Bye bye to rubbish |

Do APC know what a track record is? Their own has been abysmal over the past 8 years and the nerve to talk about integrity.
Perhaps they should use some other talking points for their campaign that aren’t as hypocritical and laughable?
To be honest, if I was trash but I knew there were people who would still vote me in despite this I’d probably be this audacious too.
The failure of APC isn’t even distant enough to ‘forget’, it’s literally still occurring as we speak. |

sukkot: 16 The age of consent in England and Wales is 16. This is the age when young people of any sex, gender or sexual orientation can legally consent to taking part in sexual activity. This means that sexual activity between two or more people is always unlawful if at least one of the people is under the age of 16.
https://lawstuff.org.uk/police-and-law/age-of-consent/ Lol a relationship between a 16 and 40 year old will always be disturbing to me even no matter what the legal age of consent is |

It would be highly inappropriate and disturbing. Also, depending on the legal age of consent it would be statutory rape Would you be ok with a 40 year old having a sexual relationship with your 16 year old son? :/ |

sukkot: well i see where you are coming from but lets be real do people ever really grow up ? most peole are children forever even in adult bodies. its like is there a certain age where your mind grows up ? i mean you see a politician with 40 houses ? is that an adult or is that a child collecting toy houses ? you see a politician stealing billions of dollars i mean is that an adult or a child stockpiling toy money ? you get me ? i dont see the difference between adults and 16 year olds nowadays. its like the whole planet has regressed back to childhood There is an enormous difference in maturity, cognitive, intellectual etc development between a teenager and a grown adult. I see a difference, no matter how much a person may not want to grow, you are an adult with more experience, bio development and responsibilities, thus more is expected of you A grown adult making immature decisions does not somehow put them on the same playing field as a child. Politicians stealing money are grown adults with agency making selfish and greedy decisions, nothing more, nothing less lol |
