Siasia's and Amodu's dads must be saying the same thing too |
larimo:We've heard of defensive midfielders before, Larimo - but YET we criticise Mikel's game and rightly so. Mikel doesn't need to score or shoot that much - he just needs to be more mobile and ambitious - that's all. Passing sideways to the nearest blue shirt or back to his goalie is not the best. He needs to improve. |
chidichris:And why do I have to swear? I don't understand. ![]() can u swear that u have never seen any good news abt mikel before.Mikel and Messi, were the two most exciting prospects in world football 5 years ago. No one will argue that. However, protecting Mikel from criticism will never improve his game. It's for his own good. |
Chelsea vs Man Utd, FA Community Shield. You know what you get with a Jon Obi Mikel performance and this game he patrolled the usual rectangle area in the centre of the pitch and didn't stray from itGoal.com. One superb pass to release Kalou but, in truth, lacked impact and doesn’t dominate. His place is under threatTelegraph.co.uk Is likely to be the fall-guy when Ramires eventually joins Chelsea, with Ancelotti likely to opt for the Brazil World Cup star and Essien at his expenseMirror Football |
If you want to learn using textbooks or ebooks you have to download/ purchase the compilers for the particular language you are using. Learning how to program should be an active process, as you read, you type in the codes and compile and see what happens. You will gain a lot by doing this. |
Unfortunately not everyone can become a good programmer. The same way not every doctor becomes a good doctor, or every cook becomes a good cook. However if: 1. You are willing to learn from books and from other programmers (your juniors and seniors alike) 2. You have a never-say-die attitude 3. You have a very good eye for detail and you are meticulous 4. You always want to find ways of doing things better . . . Then you stand a good chance. Good luck! |
I have just one question to ask General Babangida: "So General Babangida, how does your regime intend to tackle corruption in the country?" I will be VERY interested to hear his response. |
Lacrissa:Not really. You might just let the 'best' pass you by if you do so. But choose wisely. Cheers. |
Charming:Certainly NOT! What should I do?My guess is that you don't half know this woman as you think you do. You, yourself, have given at least two reasons why the whole thing is just wrong. So I believe you already have the answer. Peace. |
What of Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo or Francis Arthur Nzeribe? My Igbo brethren, what do you think of the suitability or otherwise of these two Gentlemen for the position of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? ![]() |

Speed . . . Pace? Why are they listed as different qualities? |
What are her qualifications and work experience prior to this post? |
I bet the organisers think that this GIANT Cake puts Nigeria at par with the likes of US, UK or France. A job very well done I must say. |
That was about 2 months ago or thereabout. Leaders are trying hard nowadays to show that they're simple and approachable. Obama attended a TV show the other day talking about his daughters and popular culture. Maybe its a publicity stunt - to show the electorate that Mr. President has no problem mixing with the common folks. I believe it can happen in Nigeria - after the soldiers and MOPOL have cleared out the other diners first ![]() |
Well, IBB is right. No doubt about that. Obviously, Jonathan is free to contest for the presidency come 2011 but it CANNOT be on the platform of PDP. As IBB said, the only way THAT can happen is if the PDP constitution is altered. I hope that doesn't happen. . . My advice is for GJ to do an Atiku and decamp to any of the other parties out there: ANPP, AC or APGA. As sitting president, he won't be short of suitors. |
12LARGE! Why you de vex with me now? No be true I talk? Even if the U-20 are younger, won't Messi defeat Yakubu for footy? Maybe the U-20 Just because they are called "U-20" does not mean anything. It's just a name, OK? The reality might be VERY different. ![]() |
12large! ![]() How sure are you the U-20 "boys" are not older and more experienced than the their super eagles counterpart? It's Nigerian football, remember? You never can tell ![]() |

Interested folks should also send genuine birth certificates, or age-declaration not more recent than 5 years. In the absence of both, aspiring players should submit results of an MRI scan from a Government hospital. Testimonies from uncle or brother will not be accepted. NB: We need to stamp age cheats from this country. ![]() |
There is money inside NFF's account. . . I thought this was meant to be good news? ![]() |
Which one is NFA? Vanguard should know better. |

Ranoscky:@Ranoscky No it's not fair Ranoscky . But, that's not our argument. . .Like all officials that wear one form of uniform or another in this country, the LASTMA boys have their problems. However, the soldiers are NOT the right personnel to handle those excesses. Even if they were the right personnel, how is beating them to the point of unconsciousness justified? |
kolade oye:Hmmm. DNA via SMS? |
I have of course! Who hasn't? But that can never explain the action of our soldiers. They've been persistently harassing the Nigerian populace - we've been suffering and keeping quiet for long. They are above traffic laws, they always have the right of way, they are extremely rude and unruly . . . I would also ask you a question: have you never had a problem with the soldiers/army folks before? |
Rastamann:The child already has a name. You should have made the suggestion much earlier. ![]() |
Whether the LASTMA officials were wrong or not - which we don't know - is immaterial. The POINT IS soldiers have absolutely no right beating up people. It just shows we have a dysfunctional system. If the LASTMA officials have committed an offence, they should be prosecuted in accordance with the law. |
You two! |
