chuose: Madam sorry oh, but the quo'ran permits a moslem to have a sex slave.
Qur'an (33:50) - "O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those (slaves) whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee"
Qur'an (23:5-6) - "..who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess..."
Qur'an (4:24) - "And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess." Let's see what the Bible says, shall we? Numbers 31:7-18 - "Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves. Deuteronomy 20:10-14 - "But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you." Deuteronomy 21:10-14 - "When you go out to war against your enemies and the LORD, your God, delivers them into your hand, so that you take captives, if you see a comely woman among the captives and become so enamored of her that you wish to have her as wife, you may take her home to your house. But before she may live there, she must shave her head and pare her nails and lay aside her captive's garb. After she has mourned her father and mother for a full month, you may have relations with her, and you shall be her husband and she shall be your wife." Judges 5:30 - "They must be dividing the spoils they took: there must be a damsel or two for each man, Spoils of dyed cloth as Sisera's spoil, an ornate shawl or two for me in the spoil." |

Politics › Re: Ex-militant Escapes Death Over Adoption Of Buhari In Rivers by IbrahimB: 1:04pm On May 04, 2015 |
midolian: The National President, National Coalition of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators, NCNDE-A, ‘General’ Israel Akpodoro, escaped death by whiskers in the hands of suspected assassins in Rivers state, Wednesday.
Akpodoro ran into an ambush by the suspected gunmen who opened fire on his car on sighting him on his way from Port Harcourt shortly after Mbiama junction where the Coalition held a pro-Buhari meeting.
According to his aide, Bernard Ochuko, the Urhobo-born ex-militant leader was rescued by some truck drivers who ran to the scene as the sound of gunshot rented the air in the neighborhoods.
He stated further that his boss has gone into hidden while receiving treatment from native doctors administering alternative medicine on him.
Akpodoro’s travail according to Bernard began shortly after a meeting of the ex-militant leaders in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa capital wherein governor, Seriake Dickson was the chairman.
At the meeting he stated, Akpodoro expressed a divergent view as against the directive by senior officials of President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration that all ex-militants must gear up for war should General (rtd) Muhammadu Buhari, win the then on-coming presidential election.
He further stated that the Coalition leader vehemently opposed the general consensus as he was bullied out of the meeting with threats from other notable ex-militants at the meeting.
Consequently, it was gathered that Akpodoro has escaped assassins bullets on more than three occasions. “He receives anonymous calls at odd hours telling him that his life was in danger.”
As a result of the incessant threats, Akpodoro’s aide said his boss had to relocate his children out of their home into hidden and in hidden he said they were till date.

egift: 1. Since 2011, a lot has changed. 2. Nigerians are now aware of the incompetence of Jonathan. 3. Unlike 2011, APC have a wider and stronger political structures than CPC. 4. More voters, politicians, international communities now embrace the candidacy of Buhari. 5. The 2015 Campaign of Buhari is better funded and has been issue based, unlike Jonathan who spent more attacking the person of Buhari. 6. Buhari has penetrated Jonathan's primary stronghold, while Jonathan has lost ground in where GMB's base. 7. Nigerians are not happy with how things have been handled under Jonathan. Everyone wants Change. Apart from improvements in few places, we can't see any transformation in Jonathan's cosmetics. 8. Buhari has better understanding to the problems facing Nigerian. Untill 2015 New Year Message, Jonathan never accepted Corruption was a big problem. 9. Buhari and his Team have ran a better Presidential Campaign than Jonathan, even with smaller fund. Same thing to expect in the incoming administration.
Therefore this 2015, it is Mathematically impossible for Buhari to lose.
Sai Buhari. 10. The introduction of PVCs will also limit the extent of rigging (which the ruling party has greater capacity to carry out) |

Sarcoc: Like most things in life you will only be fully convinced once you ve tried it and not before. I have lived in the UK for near 15 years and have met various people in that time.
My advise - stay steady in Nigeria and you are by far better off. If you and your family can raise £9-15k for your tuition I will strongly suggest that you invest it in a good business. If u are not an entrepreneur get a good job invest then money in say land for instance and you will be onto a winner.
I ve advised a few ppl to go this way but they all end up in the Uk weeks later. I suspect you will do same too but you will surely remember reading this down the line.
Just to portress my point further, I am relocating back to Nigeria next year by God's grace. Oh just to add I am a full UK citizen by birth but still feel this way and can tell you that it is worse for none citizens. Wole Soyinka won't be happy to see this |

Did Jesus himself ever say he's bringing a new testament? Did Jesus come to destroy the Law of Moses?
You can't mention New Testament without mentioning the man, Paul. A man who never met Jesus face to face. Why must we believe Paul's testament?
Do you know there were several conflicting gospels after Jesus?
I think we should give more credence to what Jesus was reported to have said by the people who walked, talked and prayed with him during his ministry and not what an outsider claims to have received from Jesus in a "vision". |
Education › Re: How To Make A First Class Or Distinction In School by IbrahimB: 12:39pm On Sep 21, 2013 |
A first class is a very good thing to have; your parents or sponsors will feel amply rewarded! However, getting a first class doesn't mean you'll also be "first" in your industry. More importantly, not getting a "first" doesn't mean you're dumb or less "smart" than a person with a first . Many students don't understand this. Many parents don't as well and exert too much pressure on their children. The most important thing to take out of school is "thinking outside the box" and not a 4.80 CGPA. Trust me. |

@fr3do I will eventually, I have no other choice anyway, I just want to know what's up with these tokens. Abi they get expiry date? Why do tokens start generating invalid codes? Are token devices affected if carried on flights, kept close to phones, magnets etc, etc? If you have some technical knowledge on the functioning of these devices will be greatly appreciated. |
Business › Problem With Gtbank Token Devices by IbrahimB(op): 12:18am On Sep 20, 2013 |
So, here am I with two GTB hardware tokens and none of them works . They both generate invalid transaction codes and in the absence of any obvious physical damage to the devices. This has effectively cut off my access to my account as I'm not currently in the country. Has anyone had this problem before? Let me add, I experienced the problem after taking the tokens with me on a long flight. Could this be an issue? If you work for GTB or the company that produces these devices, your contribution will be greatly appreciated. I'm sure this information will be useful to many folks out there. I don tire! |
