CultureRe: How Do You Define A Nigerian? by IbrahimB: 12:09am On Jul 17, 2010
This confusion only came about because many people wish that they were not Nigerians. Were Nigeria not so corrupt, were Nigeria not so broken and plundered, I am sure your cousin would have no qualms to display: PROUDLY NIGERIAN to the world.
PoliticsRe: Halliburton Scam: 49 Lawyers Sue Efcc For ‘protecting’ Obasanjo by IbrahimB: 12:05am On Jul 17, 2010
The joke of the century was when General Obasanjo said he's open to be investigated by the EFCC, and Mr. Ribadu came out and said General Obasanjo had been tested and the result was NEGATIVE. huh.

My country has suffered.

we should stop abusing our children
Asiwaju.
Beating a child, in a reasonable manner, in order to correct him is not abuse.

asiwaju:
talk to them if they make mistake or being naughty, being a father or mother give you no right to beat defenceless child
Some children no dey hear word grin. Abi, you never see that kain pikin before?

many useless parents, who are not worthy to be called parents after drinking burukutu and ogogoro molest and flog their children for nothing.
No, we're not talking of those senseless alcohol-induced floggings.
PoliticsRe: Lagos State: Soon Parents May Go To Jail For Flogging Their Children - News by IbrahimB: 2:53am On Jul 10, 2010

madejibo:
I feel that Goodluck Jonathan should win any election in 2011 because to me he is the best available now.
How did you arrive at the conclusion that Jonathan is the best available now?
Besides, being the best doesn't guarantee electoral success. Especially in Nigeria.

I'm talking of the guys in green. I can't quite make out the crowd. The way they simultaneously put their hands on their heads is kind of odd.
They don't look too happy too. . . I'm sure somebody must have done something really CATASTROPHIC angry

You're a newbie perhaps? Otherwise you wouldn't take everything you read on Nairaland too seriously. Relax and don't be too quick to call others names. It doesn't speak very well of you. OK?
SportsRe: The Picture That Made Me To Support The Restructuring Of Nigeria's Soccer by IbrahimB: 11:48am On Jul 03, 2010

Why are the people wearing green putting their hands on their heads? grin
CareerRe: She Sacked Me because Am A Lesbian by IbrahimB: 8:04pm On Jun 30, 2010
I think it's the madam and not the lesbian employee that has the greater right to complain. In fact, why is the woman even complaining?
What if the employee was a man? Will anyone defend a male employee who took advantage of his employer's kindness and slept with his employer's daughter?
If most employers (if not even all) will sack the male employee if he tried that nonsense, why should they be expected to act differently simply because it is woman-woman and not man-woman?

Nonsense.

No, you didn't see him at the 2002 world cup  smiley

Osaze, made his first appearance for Nigeria at the 2004 Nations Cup.
The most Osaze has scored for the Eagles was a brace against South Africa.
SportsRe: Brazil Vs Chile: [3 - 0] @ World Cup 2010 by IbrahimB: 5:51pm On Jun 28, 2010
It's open. The bane of the Chileans is indiscipline. If they can take things easy they can beat any side.
If Brazil wins, it will probably be due to some silly defensive errors from the Chileans.

whoring for them now?
Why did you remove Yobo from my list? Doesn't he have valuable experience too? Like Kanu, Yobo will still be good to go
by 2018 and who knows, if injuries are kind with them, by 2022.
SportsRe: cd by IbrahimB: 7:39pm On Jun 27, 2010
Why should Kanu resign? He STILL doesn't have a Nations Cup goal and he won't resign until he has scored one.
Kanu, Yakubu, Yobo and Shittu's experience will prove very VALUABLE for the 2014 and 2018 world cups.

@Iyineda

You forgot Kalu Uche. Uche was quite brilliant in the world cup. You'll need to update your list. Martins also should be there, if he's still in form.
SportsRe: At Last, Kanu Quits Eagles. by IbrahimB: 9:31pm On Jun 24, 2010
What of Yakubu? Is he not retiring too?
