Good evening, they made a mistake on my waec DOB,
I don't know if this mistake will be an issue if I want to submit my application...

This is tricky - which part of your Date of birth has the error? Is it the day, month or year?

If DAY / MONTH, you can get a sworn affidavit to explain the errors. If its the year and you don't have a Government birth certificate that was issued at birth by NPC then this becomes a little more complex.

Please for Ireland appeals, will all original documents be submitted or one can make coloured copies of original documents?

All originals and 1 set of colored photocopies. Exceptions to if you are using a Sponsor outside Nigeria. Copies of such Sponsors documents are acceptable

NCI request that ... Research and choose your programme. See www.ncirl.ie/Students/International/How-to-Apply
Kindly check your program on the ILEP list: www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-study-in-ireland/what-are-my-study-options/interim-list-of-eligible-programmes-ilep/
Ensure your intended program is explicitly listed and confirm the level.
All the bestPS: thanks ICaSNG for the update. Yes, A lot is ongoing in restructuring third-level schools in Ireland.

There are a whole lot more. The likes of your ICD Business School, American College Dublin, Ballyfermot College of Further Education, TU Dublin (a merger) and traditional TCD, UCD, UL, Maynooth, even UCC

I'm not stating schools in Ireland- I stated affordable schools in Ireland to consider. UCC, TUD, UCD - though I work with them are above 14000 for most courses.

Hello everyone please I need an urgent advice, my case is that I was refused last year base on finances despite meeting up to required amount of pof and I defer my admission to this year and I did a new application around June this year with a better financial status than last year, and I always apply as sole sponsorship of my student visa not through any sponsor because I own my own company with good statement of account, but unfortunately I was refused again after 7 weeks of my submission since June, and the strange part is that they treat my application as an appeal and state all sort of rubbish like I didn't include sponsored statement of account when I've never stated that I'm using a sponsor and also say i didn't include previous Refusal letter in which the previous Refusal letter is part of the document they sent back to me, and also said I didn't submit application letter and everything is in the document they sent back to me and the sad part is that they gave me 5 years ban and that I can't appeal because only one appeal is permitted per application, this is so strange because this a new application and I've not appeal any visa refusal from them this year, this shows that they didn't even check any of my documents this show how unstructured the irish embassy is in nigeria, please I need advice from you all on how I can fight this please

Let me contribute my 2cents- if you have a refusal and you still intend applying to the Republic of Ireland , your new application must cover explanations on all reasons stated in your previous refusal- that's the reason why your application was treated like an appeal

Good Day Everyone, Has anyone tried paying Tuition fee with Form A recently, if yes, which Bank and what was the duration?.
Help a brother please!

Hello and Happy Sunday,

If this is for a September 2022 intake, I'll suggest you check with your school before making payment if they are still accepting payment. Or more importantly, make sure they have a Jan/Feb intake for your course so If you cant meet up for September , you can apply for your visa towards Jan/Feb intake.

Cheers

Looking to study in Ireland please I need your opinions on a schools that offers one of the best business program

I think the first thing you should consider is your budget?
2. how does your current academic qualifications and future aspirations align with the particular business course
3. look for schools within your budget offering your intended course
4. Apply
5. write Duolingo - English test for visa application purpose - its just 49 USD

Thanks a lot for your reply and yes it was all legit. In these 2 years, can I enter and leave multiple times as I please, or is there some restriction of some sort? cos I read on their site (screenshot below) something to do with not for frequent visits. Like how long or frequent could be considered living a long period of time?

Maximum stay in the UK on a visitor's visa is 6 months irrespective of the duration of visa you have , you should not spend more than 6 months at each entry period

Hi everyone, please for those who have visited UK from Ireland, know someone who has, or lived there before moving, please help me answer this.

So I recently moved to Ireland from Nigeria for work, but have lived in UK for a long time (8+ years) and would like to go to UK to visit friends. I understand I may need a visit visa for that. How do I apply for a UK visit visa from Ireland as a Nigerian and how long would the process take? Costs? And also how many months/years visa do you think I would get on it?

If your stay in the UK at the time was legitimate all through - go for the 2 years visa straight up if you have the funds available - 2 years visiting visa is 376 pounds ; 6 months is 100 pounds ;

You will need to show you have strong reasons to return to Ireland e.g. a confirmation letter from your school with details of the duration of ur program etc. ; if on a work permit a letter from your employer , payslips etc. - finally 3 to 6 months bank statement showing enough funds.

I need help please. I have just been offered admission to study at universal of Limerick. Is English test compulsory for Visa application? How can I pay the tuition fee via transfermate in Nigeria? The tuition fee is 16k. How much do I need to have in my statement of account to apply for Visa? Someone should please respond to my message.

ULimerick accepts installmental payments ; thus you can split your payment into 2- 50% upfront (If you go through this route , the School will issue you a visa covering letter to include in your application).

Or

You can decide to pay in Full. Depending on which the payment plan and if you are using a sponsor, the visa office requires proof of funds showing the balance of your Tuition + additional 7000 euros .

If you've paid in full then a bank statement with evidence of 7000 euros .

If you are using a sponsor, then you will need additional 2m to 5m - this additional amount varies if the sponsor's acct is a personal account or corporate account being presented as part of your supporting docs for visa application.

YES- English test is required by the visa office and the following are acceptable English tests - IELTS (All categories), TOEFL, PTE , Duolingo

Paying through transfermate does not make the process of payment faster neither is it cheaper. I'll suggest you fund your naira account and go through the Trade monitoring website to initiate your payment or if you want it processed faster, source for FX at black market rate and pay your fees- UL will receive funds in less than a week if you pay with FX. if paying from a naira account transaction may take 2 to 6 weeks

currently in 2022, why should one apply for Ireland universities as compared to uk ? PSW is the same in both countries so what are major reasons to opt for Ireland than UK?

Simple--- compare the rate or percentage of Employers sponsoring long term work permit and I don't mean for care work

Evening all,
Please, I need help.

I am HND holder, got a year undergraduate program offer at the ATU Sligo formerly Institute of Technology Sligo.
My offer is conditional based on English requirement.
I have email the school, that my English Proficiency is sufficient for the program as a Nigerian, English is our language of communication and also sent my Secondary school certificate (NECO), National Diploma and HND certificates to show my educational qualifications are taught in English.

The International office still requesting minimum requirement for the English.

Please, what will I do? There is no time anymore to the IELTS test due to the school deadline to meet this requirement.

Even UK, US and some European countries gave me unconditional offer as a Nigerian and my qualifications.

Moreso, Please who is familiar with Sligo? it good location to study, cheap accommodation and get part time jobs?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Write Duolingo - https://englishtest.duolingo.com/

Its just 50usd and you can write it in the comfort of your home.

You can call the name of God as much as you want, next time it will be much longer since you have refused to be understanding about this issue for years now.

I didn't mention you nor tagged you in my comment. All I did was to post an Event hosted by NCI to enlighten those intending to study in IRELAND and for those who have used this platform to share their experience with other intending students. If that is deserving of a Ban then that's OK cos that's what you are employed to do.

Cheers

Can a 8 months gap in education between high school and university lead to visa denial. Gap would have been 3 months originally if not for ASUU strike.

Please I need opinion on this

Explain gap with proof . E.g : Newspaper publication or a Reference letter for a voluntary job role or a training you had during the period.

Payment is made through CBN Trade monitoring system, its after the confirmation is received in your email before your bank can complete the payment.

Also request from the finance team a payment invoice stating your tuition fee and university's account details you will need to upload that on the CBN trade portal. UL finance / tuition dept email <student.fees.office@ul.ie>

Please anyone with answer
Please, help me out.

Appropriate visa guidance is required. I cant provide answers or guidance when there is little or no information provided. E.g: I have absolutely no idea who you are, what you do, your academic background, professional background, your intended course, duration of the program, previous travel history, who your sponsors are, how you are related to your sponsors, what your sponsors do or their employment history etc.

So tell me how do I or anyone provide guidance?
