Do you have your critical work approval ? Because the English test requirement is not just for the embassy , its part of the requirement to get all required government documentation required before you submit an application in Nigeria.

If you can, retake the IELTS exam or speak to the Employer sponsoring your permit if you can go ahead to submit your application

I think I responded yesterday to a similar question about potential applicants who have partners or spouse in Ireland and considering going for further studies in Ireland; while this is not impossible it is a bit challenging based on the applicant circumstances on why their spouse is not inviting them through the family reunification route.
One of the reasons this is tricky is because students are not meant to give birth during studies in IRELAND- More importantly if the child's birth affects your studies in anyway.

Few things from my side.
What you've raised here is #golden. You are assisting a lot with their future plan/application. Once more thanks. Why do I say so.
Ireland has the short stay ‘C’ visit (tourist) visa. This is meant for going on holidays just like people jet off to Dubai for two weeks holiday or UK or US on hold (typically Summer hols). From your narrative, this 8s what you applied for in 2019. I might be wrong though. In anyway, this is not about 'speaking' to you. Pls, I'm just talking generally.
Now, within short stay ‘C’ visit (tourist) visa there is another sub-category, the short stay ‘C’ visit (family/friend) visa. For those that want to visit their loved ones, but are not intending to relocate to join them fully, what is expected is the short stay ‘C’ visit (family/friend) visa and not short stay ‘C’ visit (tourist) visa.
Why is this important. If for instance, a person apply strictly for short stay ‘C’ visit (tourist) visa and did not disclosed that they have family resident in Ireland, should the VO gets to know by chance or anyhow, then the application can be deem false presentence!. By now, we all know what the outcome will be. That is if it did not even include the 5yrs ban!

I just told the VO, I had this situation years back (the dilemma 1) and that I'm aware I have a brother in Ireland, but this visit is me going for few days (practically for the long weekend just like any one will take Eurostar to cross the canal and come back) and within the visit, I'll give my brother w surprise visit. I was emphatic on the surprise visit aspect. Long story short, visa granted. I've been in and out of Ireland even from other countries.

Just be transparent as much as you can. No need embellishing.
Kindly note, Ireland has a category for dependent: join family. The non-EEA Category A and some Category B (the one applicable to students is restricted to PhD students) Yep, it takes months!!

Regarding your current plan
1. I do not think you need to revisit your earlier refusal. Let is stay in the past it belong. IMHO, no need passing the buck as in casting the agent. You might just score a own goal! However, you must declare the refusal and articulate how your circumstances has changed and why/how this study is beneficial/critical to your career going forward. Kindly take note of ICaSNG valuable inputs (her addition to my earlier post). It's essential in your case given the earlier refusal was for visit and not study.
2. My opinion will be, if you can afford it, rather opt for the UK study. You should get uni that'll take you on for Masters? You just need to search. Nonetheless, the 'noise', the Suella and the possible PSW changes.
As you rightly stated, you and your hubby can meet frequently in the UK. With time, you might be able to get visa to go over.
3. Regarding the HND lower credit, with diligent search, you should get. More so, if you articulate on your work experiences. For this, go for uni that consider/offer RPL: Recognition of Prior Learning (some might have different terminology). With that said, have you considered doing a conversion course in 9ja b4 proceeding to UK/Ireland
4. Regarding strong ties, I'm not in a position to speak to that.

Here’s my story, I started an ug program in Economics in a private Uni in Nigeria but didn’t graduate because I couldn’t meet up with the needed grades from graduating and so I took a break from my education to try to gain some work experience before going back to school. I got a job at a business firm and worked for 2 years until COVID. After I left, I continued to develop my self and talent as I attended a tech program where I was given certificate of participation and I continued developing my talent in music until I decided to go back to school. I’m 28 now and just got billed to start a Bachelors program in Business at the Dublin Business School in January with my fees fully paid by my sponsor who is my brother (who works and resides in the UK with a good financial standing). Do you think my case is strong enough to be issued a study visa to Ireland regardless of my gap?

Your application has been submitted. Please pray and just be hopefully that the visa will be granted.

The 'answer' is in your appeal refusal (read with your visa refusal).
Using edubond does not absolves you providing good intent to study and explain flow of funds for 6 mths (bank statements). What edubond does is to limit/curtailed the degree of intruding into your (financial) privacy (and that of your sponsor) or make it easier for you not to require a sponsor.
Kindly bear in mind that the VO (whether Ireland, UK, US, Canada or any other) are fully aware of PoF as a business in 9ja!
The key thing one can see/read from these two letters is that you did not do the needful to succinctly explain your incomes for the six months period. Also, it is apparent that you seemly make large sum deposit close to your visa application. This you did not explain until when you were appealing. Even at that, by that time, you merely glossed over things. The VO took cognisance of this and came to your 'rescue' in a way: ... various side hustles...
Since you intend applying again in Feb,
- Make steady inflow in and out of your intended account.
- Still use edubond (I guess you can leave the current one till then which will show your 'capability' to fund)
- write your statement of interest in simple way of; why you want to study, why the course, what you will do with the course when you get back to 9ja, how the course will assist your career (or business,) going forward.
- include (disclose) and explain how your circumstances has 'improve' from this refusal.
NB: you didn't tell us what this course is. However, if for instance it's Masters, you don't start staying you will stay back in Ireland to look around for doctorate. I say this because the VO keeps repeating ... type of visa is for limited duration .... So I guess your statement might not be clear on ... what's next after your current study that you're applying visa for. PS: ICaSNG might assist with guidance on this: like if going for Masters, to indicate if you'll be looking for doctorate post the masters in Ireland. My gut feeling is, it's red flag.

There are other things one can pick, but the above might be the 'deal breaker'
As regarding the I added more documents too, it appears the VO considered them in good faith and did not raise issues with most of them again.
To us all, I'll say, always provide essential documentations requested/needed. Do not focus on one area only, neglecting the others. Most times, focus is on balance of funds!!! Rather, focus should be on ALL on the checklist.

She also seems to allude to UG and not PG. If so, it makes the VO refusal more clearer. All the best in Feb.

You've covered 80% of what could have gone wrong based on the refusal letter. I guess she needs to speak to her school or Agent assigned to him or her.
Some other underlying factors may not be totally covered in the refusal letter e.g. I've seen students with BSc 2:2 from a science discipline applying for a 2 year BSc top up in Business ; which is absolutely ridiculous and this definitely has led to refusal for some students.

Finally, as you rightly stated, when going for any program either UG or PG, your future aspiration should be linked to Nigeria- this is not just for Ireland, for any country a student intends applying to for further studies, your future aspirations should be well defined on how the intended study will add value to your home country .

So while applying for a visa for a masters program, stating you intend proceeding for PhD IS TOTALLY A RED FLAG exception to MPhil students.

I've responded to your email but also for others to learn, I will emphasize on the following:

1. Valid proof of relationship to any sponsor is required e.g. A student being sponsored by a sibling must provide his birth certificate and Sponsor's birth certificate- both certs must show they both share the same parents or at least 1 parents if step-siblings.
2. For UG applicants using a sponsor or self sponsored, POF analysis by the VO is not based on Edu bond or closing amount in Bank account but rather on either you or your sponsor having sustainable proof of Employment and Income- I've had students how showed 25m in their Sponsor's account but sponsor is retired and earns less than 70,000 in pensions; In such cases or similar cases the application was refused.

True both countries share Data. You can apply to the UK but will need to ensure the following:

If you intend going for a 1 year PG program- pay full tuition and ensure you have a verifiable proof of employment that establishes that you can afford to study in the UK , a verifiable and genuine bank statement in your name or your parents with the required amount needed as POF, proof that you will not breach the travel agreement between the UK and Republic o Ireland

The refusal letter is not making reference to the amount you have but making reference to areas you did not address in details :

1. Where you paid your tuition from i.e Bank account and how you came about the funds
2. Proof of all employment or Gap periods from after SSCE till date

Like I've always emphasized, Education bond does not necessarily make a difference if your application is not convincing enough.

Please I need your advice.

My VISA was refused due to insufficient funds amigst others. I paid the school fees in full, also paid for bond but I had roughly #1M as at when I applied. Upon refusal, I sold my car and everything sum up to over #2. 5 when I appealed. I added more documents too but I was still denied base on same reason.

I'm currently processing another school for February intake but I do not know what to do differently in terms of visa application.

The school is genuine but a new school- they started last year in Dublin and only currently offering Undergraduate programs in Business.

Back to your question, either for Ireland or any country you should never pay tuition through an agent please.

So much can go wrong - e.g: if your visa is refused, the refund will be made only to the person or account that paid the tuition and such can abscond with your funds.

For Ireland, visa application requires you present the bank statement where your tuition was paid from and relationship to the person who made the payment- Relationship between a student and Agent is not acceptable by the Embassy and will lead to a refusal.

I have the contact of the In-Country rep for this school, kindly share the Agents name so I can report him to those who registered him as an Agent as this is totally unacceptable .

Edubond transactions is similar to the same process taken when paying Tuition.

This is however the challenge, 15months ago one would walk into a Nigerian bank and request for Form A, now that is not the case. You need to request for Form A using the CBN Monitoring trade system only when this is approved then you can walk into the bank you stated in the online application and complete the FORM A request.

Before the new CBN regulations of making Form A complicated, FBN and UBA would process this within a short period of time (I mean EduBond).
The Challenge now is getting the form A approved through CBN trade monitoring website first and then hope the bank you stated on records where you have the funds will be able to process this transaction promptly.

As a trained Visa consultant, Edubond does not necessarily make your application stronger as people precise - since you will still be required to present 3- 6months bank statement of where you paid your Tuition, proof of income , 6 months Personal bank statement of both yourself and your Sponsor (if using a sponsor), explanation and proof of all lump sum IN and OUT of of all bank statements presented etc.

I will advise that unless you have had a previous visa refusal or BAN and the reasons are tied to finance , its not really worth going through the Education Bond route if you can provide detailed financial bank statements and genuine means of income.

This is tricky - which part of your Date of birth has the error? Is it the day, month or year?

If DAY / MONTH, you can get a sworn affidavit to explain the errors. If its the year and you don't have a Government birth certificate that was issued at birth by NPC then this becomes a little more complex.

All originals and 1 set of colored photocopies. Exceptions to if you are using a Sponsor outside Nigeria. Copies of such Sponsors documents are acceptable

Hello everyone please I need an urgent advice, my case is that I was refused last year base on finances despite meeting up to required amount of pof and I defer my admission to this year and I did a new application around June this year with a better financial status than last year, and I always apply as sole sponsorship of my student visa not through any sponsor because I own my own company with good statement of account, but unfortunately I was refused again after 7 weeks of my submission since June, and the strange part is that they treat my application as an appeal and state all sort of rubbish like I didn't include sponsored statement of account when I've never stated that I'm using a sponsor and also say i didn't include previous Refusal letter in which the previous Refusal letter is part of the document they sent back to me, and also said I didn't submit application letter and everything is in the document they sent back to me and the sad part is that they gave me 5 years ban and that I can't appeal because only one appeal is permitted per application, this is so strange because this a new application and I've not appeal any visa refusal from them this year, this shows that they didn't even check any of my documents this show how unstructured the irish embassy is in nigeria, please I need advice from you all on how I can fight this please �

Let me contribute my 2cents- if you have a refusal and you still intend applying to the Republic of Ireland , your new application must cover explanations on all reasons stated in your previous refusal- that's the reason why your application was treated like an appeal

If this is for a September 2022 intake, I'll suggest you check with your school before making payment if they are still accepting payment. Or more importantly, make sure they have a Jan/Feb intake for your course so If you cant meet up for September , you can apply for your visa towards Jan/Feb intake.

Maximum stay in the UK on a visitor's visa is 6 months irrespective of the duration of visa you have , you should not spend more than 6 months at each entry period

If your stay in the UK at the time was legitimate all through - go for the 2 years visa straight up if you have the funds available - 2 years visiting visa is 376 pounds ; 6 months is 100 pounds ;

You will need to show you have strong reasons to return to Ireland e.g. a confirmation letter from your school with details of the duration of ur program etc. ; if on a work permit a letter from your employer , payslips etc. - finally 3 to 6 months bank statement showing enough funds.
