Thanks, do you know any cheap hotel to suggest to me? What do you think about the maynooth University? I haven't seen anyone talked about it here.
Use booking.com for the hotel reservation. As i mentioned you do not have to pay so search for ones with free cancellation and no pre-payment plans.

As for Maynooth, I've not had anyone who attend the school; but seems like a fairly good school- try search on LinkedIn for Nigerian graduates from the school to get comprehensive feedback

Do embassy require accommodation receipt during interview? I got admission in maynooth university(national university of Ireland Maynooth), but I need accommodation in Dublin 7, my budget is within 300-400€. What do you think about the University?
kindly make an hotel reservation for 14days (you don't need to pay ahead though) and make sure such has free cancellation.

You claim to know about NCI and you don’t know that NCI is run like a private school? Lol
For example Ondo state college of Medicine is public school but run like a private
Any college or university in Ireland that all the undergrad courses are not paid by SUSI, is what will called run like a private school.
NCI is public College but run like a private school.
I can’t bet you haven’t been there before.
Go and read more about NCI.
NCI is 10 mins away from my home and I never said NCI was a private college.
I go to the building anytime I want to relax my head and I know almost all the offices over there due to getting informs for some of my friends.

Please before you jump in, check what we were discussing, I was only telling the guy the diff between public and Private universities in Ireland and that of Nigeria
Since you insist on being ignorant , NCI is a private school and its clearly stated on Education in Ireland's website.

You insisted that people who attend private schools may not get jobs and I disputed that based on outstanding records of my students who attended private colleges in Ireland and landed 33k to 40k pa jobs

You don’t answer ni question, are your clients EU citizens?
You don’t get my point.
I’m talking about those with EU permanent resident holders and EU citizens here not those without it.
It’s has not to do with your training cool
I was only replying someone.
E
I don't have time ; i actually just disputed your claims ; 1 being NCI is private.

Whatever your point is about private and public institutions in Ireland is a personal opinion like i said earlier. Everyone is free to contribute but lets be guided in stuff we put out.

Are they Irish citizens or EU citizens?
I was talking about if you are a EU citizen or Irish.
NCI is a public university or college.
Yes, it’s run like a private but NCI is public university and I got admitted there but DCU admission came out 2 days later
Reason I went to DCU
NCI was my first choice because it’s located in the city not too far from me.
NCI fall under SUSI grants, that’s a public college

Says who
Please try to submit your certificate as a BSc holder that just graduated from a private university in Ireland and as an Irish citizen to HR and see what happens cool grin
Only those that study IT courses get the chance everywhere
NCI falls under this category and I am happy to inform you that 90% of my students who finished their studies here had employment offer before graduation . You can send me whatsapp message so I can send you their contacts to verify in Ireland.

Well in Europe generally
Public universities are the best
All over Europe from Spain to Russia
If you are a citizen of any European countries and you go to private university then your parent runs a certificate for you.
It’s simple
Please take this as an individual opinion it doesn't apply to opinion of most Employers and organisation.

OK..Just to be sure, their course ends in June 2025. Do you mean we can do the medicover one of 160 Euros for courses under one academic year? No need for the one of 600 Euros for above one academic year? Really sorry to bother. We are just trying to get things right. You know the whole story. Thanks.
if there is an option for more than 1 year program you can choose that. usually before you can only purchase for a year and keep renewing in ireland yearly

Hello,
I see the good work going on in this group. Kuddos.
Few questions please.

1. I initially paid a 1000 euros deposit to UCC for a confirmation of acceptance. Do I still need to pay my fees or deposit before applying for the visa application. Note that my account and sponsor's account contains sufficient fund.

2. How can I apply for private medical insurance please .

3. Is masters in food security a good course for work opportunities in ireland?

Thank you
UCC requires full tuition before visa application.

Pay for medical insurance through studyandprotect.com

Why did you choose the course? critical job list can be found here:

Please is IELTS compulsory for student visa after admission has been granted without it
English proficiency test is required- Choice of the test to write is left to you. However, Irish Embassy accepts IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, Duolingo

Would you advice I complete my visa application and go ahead with the edubonds with the transaction number or I start and suspended submitting the visa application till the edubonds clicks
Whao- your edubond and all proof of funds should accompany submission of your visa application. I think you need to contact your school to provide visa guidance to you.

My agent is saying the same thing, that one can apply not more than 3 months before resumption meaning that I have to wait for june even though I'm ready.

Also @ICAS please how true is it that once I start my visa application online that I cant logout and continue later. Im asking because I intend doing Edubonds.
you only need your transaction number to apply for Edubond , online app is active for 30days and can be retrieved anytime within 30 days using the transaction number, dob and passport number

Good morning everybody.

I can see that some people have started applying for their study visas. But my agent keeps telling me that the Ireland embassy isn't currently accepting applications for study visas, except for priority/emergency cases. I have gotten admission for a Higher Diploma program, and have all my documents ready but my agent says I can't apply yet.

Please, I would appreciate some help as I'm quite confused at the moment. Thanks.
3 of my students submitted already 2 weeks ago; but ensure your docs are well sorted first-

Thanks so much for your input.

But the offers are Higher Diploma in Science in Computing from NCI and MSc. Information Systems with Computing from DBS.

Which do you advise from these 2 current situations?
DBS-MSc Business Analytics or Data Analytics / LIT -MSc Data Analytics

First class
I am trying to wrap my head around why NCI is offering you a Higher diploma ? Give or take you should be able to get MSc Data Analytics at NCI.

And like Seuuny4lif stated- NCI graduates have a better shot at fast employability in Dublin but overall if you are studying Data Analytics, Business Analytics , Cybersecurity / Network systems your chances are good irrespective of the school you graduated from

Hello everyone!

Just a quick one especially from those with experience.

What will your advise be to one who has a bachelors degree in an interdisciplinary field of Computer Science, Management Science and Information Science.

Has about 3 years experience working in IT Support role.

Got admission offers from DBS (MSc. Information Systems with Computing and NCI (Higher Diploma in Science in Computing).

What choice will you advise such a one to take and why?
