If in Abuja, you should be able to do a drop in , one of my student just did the same earlier today . This might not be the case for Lagos though- try using another debit card and make sure you are not using your phone as hotspot

I have a degree in zoology, 3.40 CGPA and I'm proficient in UI/UX design and also beginner skills in Adobe Illustrator, Presently I identified biodiversity and conservation in trinity college, Dublin, I'd like to know if my cgpa pointcuts it for the upper second class requirement (if they don't use the same scale as nigeria).

In addition, I want to move into tech if possible as shown in the skills I have acquired, which other universities, and what courses do you think I could look into directly with my degree.

Based on the visa, I am aware of the basic requirements for visa application what I am not clear on is if Ireland also interviews study visa applicants, if they do, what kind of question should one be expecting?

Nigeria was added couple of weeks ago to the Compulsory Hotel quarantine list. That means you will be required to quarantine in a govt approved hotel for 10-14 days.

To be exempt, you must have a negative covid test on arrival and must have gotten 2 shots of the approved Covid 19 vaccines : Oxford , pfizer and another one

Here’s the story:
My dad originally had a property which he had the original deed bearing his name and Surname (our family name).

He gave me ownership of the property and told me to do with it whatever I please and I told him I was gonna sell to complete my funds for my studies and he consented.
So, I sold some plots from the main deed and deeds were made in my name (same surname) from the original plots and buyers have paid into my account.

Do I need to get a deed of gift? If I need to, how do I get this deed of gift?

Please give me detailed guidelines.

If your dad is alive , he should write an authorisation letter or declaration stating he gave you the property / properties , attach his ID and your birth cert also include the new legal deed of assignment from you to the new buyer with lawyers seal.

Submitted my visa application but could not certify at high court since courts are on strike, I had to only notarize all sponsor documents, including my sponsor data page..please I will want to ask, can the embassy verify sponsor data pages/visa pages? If so, the authenticity of his information if verified will be positive for my application. Can embassy verify sponsor data page/visa page even if he didn't do biometric?

Notarisation of documents is not required by the Irish Embassy .

thank you for your reply, please one last question, I have enough money to last me for my first 2 months in Ireland, which means, I need to get a job in Ireland before that 2months elapse.

I saw online that students are only allowed to work for 20hours/week.

So my questions are:

1. Will the minimum wage be enough to take care of my living expenses? accomodation, feeding, transport.

2. How long does it take to get a GNIB card in Ireland after arrival?

3. Do you think it's possible to get a job in Ireland within 2months of arrival? because if I don't get a job after that 2months, I'm toast.

I'll suggest you plan for 4 months. Covid has placed a lot of drag on processing times for GNIB / IRP cards , you may however be lucky to get a casual job within 2 months but its better to be safe than sorry.
Having 2000 euros to 3000 euros as settlement funds is okay depending on where your campus is though

Please I want to apply to university of Limerick, Ireland for M.Eng Mechatronics. The application fee is €35 but when I get to the student on-line payment page and input my GTBANK or WemaBank debit master card details and click pay. A 5501 error message displays on my laptop screen saying that " this transaction has already been processed contact our merchant if in doubt". I have tried making payment since last night still the same thing.

I emailed the school last night and they replied this morning that the issue is from my banks and I should contact them for explanation.

I went to GTBANK this morning to know whats up. Customer care says that if it's a naira debit card it won't go because they have put restrictions on card for transactions to merchants due to rampant fraudulent activities thesedays.

Please guys how can I make my application the deadline for applications is June and the earlier the better.

You can send an email to gtb's FX dept as you are eligible to use your naira card for 100 usd equivalent monthly. Or better yet find someone who has a dollar card

I'm planning to study a higher diploma in Computing that is more like a 1 year conversion course into IT. The course is a
NQF level 8 course which is equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science/computing.

I've started studying programming and I plan to try to get a programming job in Ireland after study, if not, I plan to save some money with the one year post graduate diploma given to me and apply for another masters in Germany since Germany is free.

I don't know if I can save enough within that one year and further my studies for a masters degree in Ireland since schools in Ireland are very expensive.
I only have enough money to pay for my education once.

After the 1 year higher diploma, you are eligible for 1 year post study work permit. You can use that time to work to earn enough for your MSc program. Your proof of funds if applying for a study permit in ireland is less than applying from Nigeria.

These guys pay hugely as compared to Nigerians where most of us pay 6000 deposit and we often times don't have enough finances as proof of funds for the visa application. Another reason being bilateral relationships between these countries. Nigeria does not even have good relations with African countries much more their Foreign counterparts.

LIT also has 1 year Higher diploma options in IT / Business for graduates with a 3rd class and they also get 1 year work permit after graduation before proceeding for masters degree.

2) What percentage of the fees do I need to pay in order to show proof of funds? Depending on the university: most require full tuition , others accept at least 6000 before visa application- understand what your university or college requires

3) Do I need to start my application online before physically submitting? You are required to have completed and submitted your online app and submit your docs and biometric before 30 days on submitting the online app.

I'll suggest you get professional help ; I understand most people's attempt at DIY, but for Irish study permit less than 20% of applications are successful through DIY

I would like to use the educational bond as my proof of finances. One of the Information They require from students is the Visa Application Number but the problem is I won't be able to get the visa application number until I go over to the the visa office to submit my application.

There is this APPLICATION TRANSACTION NUMBER which is an eight digit number which is provided whiles filling the visa application form online. I would like to know if that is what is required ?

Your visa application number / transaction number is initiated during your online visa application. I think you need to speak with your agent / visit the Education in ireland website for detailed info

Definitely, DBS allows partial payment of at least 6000 euros before visa app and balance immediately you arrive in Ireland or at the point of registering for online classes

I've not seen an IT graduate diploma that is as low as 4mollion in the UK. If you know of any, I'll be glad to hear it
I've searched on Google, the cheapest I could find is in Ireland.

I've not suggested the UK based on tuition, i made that suggestion based on how you will be raising funds for visa app and probably circumstances surrounding sponsorship.
