I got a funded studentship (tuition waived) 2yrs Masters by research position at Letterkenny Institute of Tech. with €6k/year stipend. Do I still need to provide statement of account/bond for visa processing.

Help please,

I went in to the VFS on 28th of July. My appointment was 11am. I was there around 9am. Sorting documents and waiting till it get to my turn. Unfortunately, when it around 3pm and a staff was about to attend to me. We were told to go out that they want to close. The man who sent us out says they open from 8am - 2pm.


My problem is, I tried rescheduling the appointment but it show a message ' not eligible to reschedule'.


Please what can I do next? What is the solution?



I need suggestion and way forward, please.

Please, I’m just wondering if one entitled to a 2 year post grad visa, after graduation with a masters degree at Griffith College.

I was checking schools entitled to the stuff and i was kinda confused regarding the sch.

Yes, noted but the question is both original passports are submitted already so, why the photocopy again needed? I have a 64 pages and 32 pages so i am looking at 96 pages of photocopies? isn't that too much?

Secondly, if for example an English test expires just about a month before applying for the visa, can that fly or it'd be advisable to sit for another English test?

I've been trying for weeks now to pay fees via transfermate to no avail. Been in touch with the school and transfermate who keep instructing we try things we've done a few time already. So I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced trouble with this and how they solved it?

P.s. I went to 2 banks but they said CBN has restricted certain foreign transactions.

For those asking for prove of funds and all, I did education bond when coming here and I did not have to show any sponsors account, I paid the 7k euro and Edu sent me a receipt I attached the receipt with my documents I submitted to the embassy, I only get a letter (preferable a letter head I did not show any company’s registration certificate ) from my mom saying what she does and that she is my sponsor and that I have paid my fee and did the education bond.

For those asking for cheap school, Dit is the cheapest, and among the best in the country but around 8-12k (but it’s highly competitive)

Dbs, Griffith is from 11,500 to 13k

Nci, university of limerick and UCC are among the best fee range from 12k to 16k

Trinity and UCD are the best but fee is from 16k to 35k.

Summary:
Irish VACs to reopen in Abuja and Accra on Monday, 29 June 2020.
New appointment system in effect.
Original documents must be submitted along with a colour copy of all application documents. If you don’t bring the colour copy, then there will be a facility to make a colour copy at the VAC for a nominal fee.
Only long-stay visas ('D' categories) will be processed initially. Short-stay Visas ('C' categories) will not be processed due to ongoing restrictions in Ireland.
Certain Priority/Emergency cases will continue to be processed as normal.
Those travelling will be expected to serve a 14 day period of self-isolation upon arrival to Ireland.
The Irish Embassy is pleased to announce the reopening of the Visa Application Centres (VACs) in Abuja and Accra on Monday, 29 June 2020. This is the first stage of a plan to resume full services in the coming months on a phased basis - subject to Irish Government Covid-19 measures and any local restrictions that may be in place.

The operation of these VACs will be carefully monitored by a range of stakeholders including VFS, Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) in Ireland and will be guided by public health advice set by the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE) and World Health Organisation (WHO). An appointment system has been introduced to assist with capacity and social distancing requirements.

Initially, the VACs will only allow long-stay applications to be made ('D' categories – further info below). No tourism or short-stay visas ('C' categories) will be processed at this time due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions in Ireland. Please be assured that we fully intend to resume our full visa service just as soon as public health concerns have been abated in line with Irish Government policy.

I’m smarter than you think, I had even typed the question on Nairaland open page for any result that may match before i asked, atleast i was able to get slightly related answers from Quora. I was thinking since he/she created the thread for Ireland, i may get an answer to my worries.

Ok let’s assume he/she had no idea on how to answer the question, wouldn’t it be more polite to say, “Sorry I can’t help with that” rather than openly snubbing.... even when your attention has been drawn to it several times....

Let’s try to call a spade a spade. Its not nice... Simple.
