Hello House, I got a visa refusal letter on the 16th of September 2020, with a chance for an appeal
I submitted my appeal on the 16th of November 2020( within two months of the appeal) as stated in the letter and with all the required additional documents
But surprised to see my visa application number here on refused list of visa decisions from 16th to 23rd November

Please can you clarify this for me ,I want to know if my visa appeal wasn't even considered or not

Well, there are actually. DBS has a program in Information Systems, but you need to have an UG degree in IT or IS. However, I do not really know if that would rule you out, maybe @ICasNg can answer that.

On the other hand, schools like UCC and NUIG have courses related to Information Management in their business schools, and do not require prior knowledge of IT, but they are quite expensive (tuition). They are conversion programs.

Maybe, BA would be a better option for you as it's done in quite a number of business schools in Ireland. At the end of the day, the best decision still boils down to you. What do you want for yourself, and what best suits you.

Your response is right on point- Nothing more to add ; DBS may however accept a different background if there is at least 1 year professional work experience in an IT role

Explanation of lump sum can be embedded in your sponsorship letter or you could have a separate letter for that- the most important thing is that all lump sum should b explained with proof -e.g Proceeds from sale of landed property or share dividends or Treasury bills etc-include all necessary proof backing sum lump sums

Definitely you can apply for a top-up degree. Depending on your grade, you get 1-2 years top up.

I'm a graduate of Business education. Graduated with a 2.2.

After my research, I found out that there are little to no opportunities for business graduates in Ireland. So what do you suggest I do? Should I switch to IT by first going for an IT diploma or apply for a masters directly?

PS: I did some basic IT courses during my undergraduate days. I did DBMS, Data management, file management and introduction to computer.

Lastly, I have no sponsor. Can I sponsor myself by tendering my bank statement?

Accounting and Finance also sells once you can cope on the program and have few years work experience.
There is PG in IT for those without IT background likewise PG Accounting.

Duration is 1 year at 12000 euros.
Automatic 1 year work permit.

MSc Business Analytics ain't bad as well.

Visa application got refused: Oct 07
Appealed: October 27th
The refusal letter was with a mistake stating I didn’t submit my sponsors personal bank statement, which I did. I resubmitted and stated it on the appeal.
Recently got a mail from the visa office.
I submitted my passport with my appeal but didn’t send a courier bag with it.
My application number was also the subject of the mail.
Pls what does this mean?
Does this mean my appeal has been approved?
Did anyone get this type of mail by the way? @ICaSNg

If a visa is approved and an email is sent , oftentimes they specify that your visa has been approved if otherwise, they may just say a decision has been made. Overall, I hope its good news.

Absolutely correct. People donating are not aware or probably ignored the intext that 60 percent of funds raised will be used to cushion or pay off election debt he incurred.
He is a Con man who knows his base...its all about the money for him.

Can a third class get admission in republic of Ireland

Definitely- Premasters incorporated with a masters degree offer (Griffith as up to 6000 euros scholarship on this via difc) or top up degree option (this may be better as you can secure 1 year work permit to work fulltime before proceeding for masters).

UK is also an alternative for direct masters in Business for few universities.

Hello everyone. I have a Bsc in Biochemistry (third class) and I am planning to pursue a Higher Diploma Program in Software Development in Ireland. I already talked with agents from the school and they assured me that getting admission wouldn't be a problem. Also, funds for tuition fees and living expenses will not be a problem.

My only worry is whether my Visa would be granted as I have no employment histroy.

I obtained my BSc in Biochemistry in 2015 then I did a Postgraduate diploma (Pgd) in Microbiology in 2017. Since then, I haven't had a job; however, in 2018, I set up a cosmetic and skin care manufacturing business that is registered with the CAC. I ran that business for about a year and decided to quit. This was when I started learning programming and software development. Since 2019 I've taken a few courses online but I still have not gotten a job.

How will this affect my chances of getting my study visa approved? Someone suggested that I could get a fake work reference but I am afraid of going down that route. Please guys, kindly advise.

Securing a PGD or Higher Diploma program in IT in Ireland is not entirely difficult a the course was designed for those without IT background. It is a 1 year program and you are entitled to 1 year post study work visa as well before proceeding for Masters degree.

Howbeit, it is very important that you have at least 2 certification results for the online courses you've completed before applying for your visa.

With respects to work, get a volunteer job ref please do not submit fake docs

After the tuition fees have been paid in full and a 7000 euro education bond has been done. Can a balance of 4million in your sponsors account be enough to help secure an irish student visa or rather show sufficient proof of funds.

Yes, however more important issues to sort will be proof of relationship to sponsor as well as proof of employment and income of sponsors.

You could purchase a few via black market in Nigeria before leaving but should not exceed 10000 USD equivalent or so. Either ways you need few euros to settle in ireland until you open a bank act.

Another way to source for euro is on arrival in ireland, find someone who has Euros and you pay them the Naira equivalent.

To Irish embassy, Yes definitely. For return that's totally dependent on you. If refused they send back at no cost. If approved, you will be called to provide courier bag for return or pick up at the Embassy in Abuja

Yes, but then some students feel because it's meant to.be free they ignore all required documents you advise they provide.
since we only get compensation only for students who get approved and register on the program ; plus Ireland study permit documentation stress is too much as compared to other countries, fees apply to mitigate risk

Yes some agents charge while others don't.

Kindly also note that some Universities have app fees while others don't. E.g University of Limerick charges 35 euro for application, UCC and few others charge 55 euro or thereabout.

Others without app fee includes NCI,TUDUBLIN, Dbs, Griffith DCU, Athlone etc

However, I saw your comment about Tuition fee or deposit of #1m if am correct? Let me advise that, that amount is currently only equivalent to 2000 euros. Tuition fee on average in Ireland is 12000 euros per year, if such college or uni accepts partial deposit, the embassy requires at least 6000 euro payment before applying for a study permit.

You probably need to carry out your personal research before approaching an agent.

To get a list of approved agencies for a particular school, visit the international representatives part on the school's website.

Get an high court declaration that you are the same person. After this just pray, seems like a messy situation
