PoliticsThe Reality Of Corona Virus And The Abia Situation by Iceathome(op): 1:01pm On Mar 25, 2020
THE REALITY OF CORONA VIRUS AND THE ABIA SITUATION

The advent of the Coronavirus pandemic has exposed how unprepared we are to respond to emergency situations in our dear state of Abia. While we do not quarrel with the role of God in situations like this, we would want to remind us that God helps those who help themselves. The holy scriptures also admonish us that faith without works is dead. Again, we are reminded that we should not ask God to do for us, what he has equipped us to do for ourselves.

Our enquiries reveal that we are not very prepared in the state should this pandemic hit us. This is in spite of the claims made by Abia State government in the last couple of days. For instance, we have been told by experts on ground that Abia State Teaching Hospital has no prepared isolation centre for likely cases of the pandemic. It has only one ventilator which is a basic minimum standard equipment to to deal with patients of the virus. The Federal Medical Centre Umuahia which has a new four bed isolation centre and three ventilators is the only health facility that is ready to receive and attend to patients in the state, even though it is a Federal government facility. The state government spoke about a certain hospital in Amachara Umuahia. It is unfortunate that the government is referring to a hospital with no isolation Centre and no ventilators and therefore not in any state to attend to Coronavirus cases. A major challenge is also the provision of gears and personal protection equipment for the medical personnel who are supposed to attend to patients. This is of utmost importance as the safety of our medical personnel is not negotiable. They must be alive to save lives.

In the light of the above sad realities, I have as a private citizen, decided to intervene as follows:

1. The Alex Otti Foundation has been directed to provide 25,000 pairs of Medical Hand Gloves, 2,500 units of Medical Facial Masks and 2,500 units of Medical Personal Protection Robes, 2,500 Pairs of Medical Glasses, and 2,500 pairs of Medical Booths to the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia. These Medical Equipment have been paid for and should reach the Federal Medical Centre before the end of the week.

2. The Alex Otti Foundation has taken delivery of a Six Bedroom Duplex with two room boys quarters in Umuocham, Aba which will be handed over to the Living World Hospital, also in Umuocham Aba, free of charge, for conversion to an isolation Centre in Aba. This property is just a few minutes away from the hospital and arrangements have been made with the hospital to operate this Centre. Again, 25,000 Pairs of Medical Hand Gloves, 2,500 units of Medical Facial Masks, 2,500 units of Medical Personal Protection Robes, 2,500 Pairs of Medical Glasses, and 2,500 pairs of Medical Booths would be provided to Living World Hospital Aba to support medical personnel.

3. The Alex Otti Foundation has been empowered and has actually opened up discussion with the management of the hospital owned by All Aro USA in Arochukwu, to serve as an emergency Centre to deal with possible Coronavirus cases coming out of Abia North. Again, the same protective gears would be made available to the hospital when all agreements are in place.

4. We also realised that the Catholic hospital in Umuahia, the Madonna Hospital is in a position to handle Coronavirus cases. We have contacted the hospital and the management was excited to partner with us. To this end, the foundation will also provide personal gears and protective equipment for the medical personnel while working with the hospital on providing another isolation Centre in Umuahia, where possible.

5. The foundation has paid for and taken delivery of several cartons of hand sanitizers and facial masks to assist Abia Citizens who may be in need of those items for self protection. These are available for collection from their offices in Umuahia, Aba and Ohafia on a first come, first served basis.

Finally, may I remind the government of Abia State of the old saying that prevention is better than cure. It is therefore expedient that the government rises to the occasion and bans public gatherings of any kind including weddings, burials, birthday and Chieftaincy celebrations, church and mosque services, schools and markets for non essential goods, while ensuring serious supervision at markets where essential goods are sold. These may look difficult but it is better to be safe than sorry. This pandemic is real and should be treated with all the seriousness it deserves, because victory against Coronavirus can only be achieved through vigilance, seriousness, sincerity and collectivism.
We also implore fellow citizens to maintain the highest level of hygiene as recommended by experts. Washing of hands with soaps should be observed as many times as possible in a day. Use of sanitizers should be part of our new routine. Social distancing and voluntary quarantine should be seen as compulsory depending on the peculiar circumstances. We must not be shy to report suspected cases to the appropriate authorities. Above all, we must avoid the dissemination of false information, and concealment of information relating to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Corona virus is no respecter of persons. It is wise to protect yourself and family from the attack. We cannot afford to continue to live in denial.

Thanks and Regards.

Dr. Alex Otti, OFR.
PoliticsTrending Document In Abia State Now by Iceathome(op): 12:00pm On Mar 20, 2020
Since yesterday, a document has been circulating online . I even saw the document myself on a news forum.
The said document was signed by the current governor of Abia State before he was made T.A Orji and his son.

Ikpeazu took an oath that the spirits they worship should deal with him if he fails in his undertaking.

The document was found the day EFCC went for investigation/search at the former governor and son's home in Umuahia.

No wonder the state was in mess.

NNAMDI KANU:- I Was Live On My Parent’s Burial Only Few Knew About It.

The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Okwu Kanu was live during his parent burial on Thursday, February 14, 2020. This statement was made by Kanu himself via one of his social media handles this morning around 4:23 AM African time.
Kanu, made it clear on his short essay that it is an abomination in Igbo land for the first son of royal family not to be around during the burial of their deceased parent , pointing out that the gods will not be happy with such fellow, no matter the circumstances. In other words, that is the reason he was able to attend the burial, but only a few people were aware of it.

How did he do it? listen to what he said -''Chukwu Okike Abiama made it possible for me to be live during my parents burial, even with all the trail of the enemies to make sure i will not be there.'' said Kanu

“I am the prince of Afaruku Ibeku the first son of my father; I would rather go on war with the Nigerian government than not to attend my parent's burial, which indeed i was there live. I hope this will make Nigerians understand that they don’t have security.” He said this after he successfully attended his parent burial yesterday.

He continued by saying “this is not the first time I have been in Nigeria ever since I left this country Nigeria due to the struggle for the restoration of Biafra, once I have attended child dedication in Lagos, and on my arrival, Nigeria security that was given the order to hunt me, were still the same people helping me and my colleague to clear our luggage’s at the airport, I repeat Nigeria as a nation doesn’t have security.”

Looking at the above statements, it clear that Nnamdi Okwu Kanu was live at his parent’s burial.did he disappear to be there?
am of the opinion that Mr. President Muhammad Buhari will now know that Kanu is more powerful and intelligent than the whole Nigerians force put together. Kanu’s arrival to his parent burial was engineered

Alex Otti Wins APGA Governorship Primary,
Alex Otti Is Your Next Governor.

Gentlemen and ladies, friends and well wishers
of Dr. Alex Otti, I think it would be nice to
break the cheering news, that a few hours ago,
the very passionate, discerning and supportive
men and women of our great party, the All
Progressives Grand Alliance, unanimously chose
the Abia Chief Agent of Change, Dr. Alex Otti
OFR as her governorship candidate.

Dr. Otti polled a total of 574 votes out of the
610 votes cast to secure a resounding victory.
The election conducted by a team from the
National Working Committee of APGA led by
the National Welfare Officer, Barr. Mrs. Carol
Okorafor and supervised by an INEC observer
team from the state and the national, was free,
fair, open and very transparent.

Also senior security officials from the Police, the
DSS, and the Civil Defence were also on ground
to ensure a hitch-free election.

I understand that some of you may have been
fed with false and despicable information from
an imposter by the name Chikwe Udensi, who
hurriedly went on air earlier in the afternoon to
declare himself the winner of the APGA Guber
election, please disregard this comic character
with disgusting attributes.

The said Chikwe Udensi was screened out by
the screening committee set up by the national
leadership of our party, hence the exclusion of
his name from the ballot paper.

Out of anger, the said Chikwe Udensi went and printed fake ballot papers, selected some
misguided fellows and declared himself a
governorship candidate.
As responsible APGAns and Democrats, we
couldn't have gone on air to waste time joining
issues with a character like Chikwe Udensi,
especially when our governorship primary was
still on.
Now that it has come to a successful conclusion
we feel excited, and overwhelmed to inform
you that God has through the victory of Dr. Alex
Otti defeated Satan and his apostles.
Be proud to tell your friends and neighbours
that the pathetic and non performing
government of Okezie Ikpeazu and their sadistic
apostle, Chikwe Udensi, after months of wasting
Abia resources in trying to stop Dr. Alex Otti
and the progress of Abia, have been finally
humiliated.
Evil has never triumphed over good, thus God's
own people cannot remain perpetual slaves in
the hands of their inferiors. Simply put that; the
oppressors are about to meet their Waterloo,
because we are closer to our destination.
I shall bring you Dr.Alex Otti's thrilling, inspiring
and touching acceptance speech that shook the
foundation of Umuahia.
Congratulations to Dr. Alexander Chioma Otti
OFR
Congratulations to APGAns and All Progressives
Congratulations to Ndi Abia
To God be the glory!

It was a fake news, Chikwe Udensi pulled out from the race couple of weeks ago but don't want to inform his supporters. His team was only playing to the gallery of their existing game with the state govt.

Chikwe Udensi name and picture was not even in the primary ballot paper which Inec used in conducting the election at Apga secretariat office at Ikot Ekpene Rd off School, Umuahia, Abia state. Every well meaning Abian reading this post should ignore the news from Magic fm Aba or other social media which was sponsored by pdp Abia state who spent a whopping #3b to stop Dr. Alex to emerge as Apga guber candidate in 2019 election out of their desperation and fear of the man Dr. Alex Otti.

He is the man who will develop and put Abia in the right track as other state like PH, Lagos etc.

Dr. Alex Otti is a man to be respected for his doggedness in Abia for it development more than other candidate in Apc and pdp.
PoliticsRe: Ikpeazu Wins PDP Governorship Primaries In Abia State by Iceathome(m): 8:17am On Oct 03, 2018
By Chuks Akamadu ALEX OTTI AND HIS ONLY CRIME In my state, Abia, every fair-minded indigene and/or resident agrees that Dr. Alex Otti is the best thing that has happened to “God’s Own State” since 2014. Likewise, no one disputes the fact that since the creation of the state in 1991, Abia has never had an aspiring governor more prepared or as adequately equipped as Dr. Otti. Quite frankly, even Dr. Otti’s most virulent detractors concede, in secret that truth be told, the technocrat-turned-politician is a rare gift to our dear state. As a scholar, Dr. Otti reminds one of erudite Prof. Ali Mazrui of blessed memory; as an economist, he could safely pass for a hybrid of Dr. Chu Okongwu and Prof. Sam Aluko whilst as a visionary leader, his antecedents compellingly invite one to an imminent replay of Dr. Michael Okpara’s superlative era. But there is a cabal that perceive the coming of Dr. Otti, and rightly so, as the coming of the judgment day. So whatever it would take to stop the-man-whose-time-has-come from taking over Government House, Umuahia next year, is considered “affordable”. Bias apart, the cabal have a point; the mean men and women who constitute it have been part of government since 1999, in full charge of it since 2007, and all they can boast of is a legacy of rot that had, not too long ago, forced billionaire businessman Prince Arthur Eze to tell the leader of the gang in public that “Abia stinks”. They impoverished the people and brought their state to odium. Somehow Abia, under their watch, was portrayed, unjustifiably, as a barren land, her diverse economic potential made to look like liabilities, strengths converted to weaknesses and worse still, the state treasury put under unending siege. So, when Dr. Otti stepped forward to challenge the status quo in 2014/2015, they deployed all they could muster to truncate his aspiration, Today, history has come full cycle and once more, Dr. Otti has thrown his hat into the ring. Going by the abysmal three years performance of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu who the gang leader foisted on Abians in 2015, the 2019 governorship race is naturally looking more like a walk in the park for Dr. Otti, because the reverberating verdict of the ordinary people of Abia State is that theirs is a classic case of “from frying pan to fire”, and they cannot wait to have their own pound of flesh which begins with Dr. Otti’s coronation on May 29, 2019, as Abia Chief Executive. And for the APGA family nationwide, Abia is going to be one of their low-hanging fruits. So, for the political profiteers who currently run the Abia shop, Dr. Otti must be stopped at all cost! In the past, they operated from a certain position of misappropriated strength having enjoyed the “proverbial” federal might, but the circumstances have since changed remarkably – and dramatically, too; hence, the desperation to shop for a bad name in order to hang the dog. After an excruciating yet fruitless search, they had settled for the feeble, lazy and puerile argument that since Abia North senatorial district did eight years as governor, ditto Abia Central, and that since it is “the turn” of Abia South, Governor Ikpeazu should be allowed, even if he is busy writing the state’s epitaph, to complete eight years. Logic from the pit of hell! Okay even at that, is Dr. Otti not a full-fledged Ngwa man – and by extension an Abia South man? Yes, his ancestral home is Arochukwu, but here is a man whose grandfather lived, died and was buried in Isialangwa and his father same. The man’s impact on Ngwaland as a private person would any day, anytime dwarf the combined achievements – if any – of the gang already making bad salesmen of this wrong- headed advocacy. Please do not forget that Ngwa people just like their Abia brothers elsewhere are the ones bearing the brunt of inherited legacy of poor governance under Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. The tragedy of this attempt at criminalising Dr. Otti’s ancestral roots is that the good people of Ngwaland who are adherents of the “Onye Aghala Nwanne ya” creed know him as their brother, more than anything else as an illustrious Abian and are the ones insisting that 2019 would be the turn of visionary leadership which Dr. Otti epitomises. They are tired ofa being passed off, falsely, as a bunch of under- performers when they have an oven-hot cake like Dr. Otti they can proudly offer Abia State – for the lasting good of all. Chuks Akamadu, (Nko Abia) Umuahi

You don't expect a candidate to display his

pages of newspapers. Alex Otti won't do that
because such blueprint is produced from many
years of researches and consultancy and should
remain his exclusive copyright.
Engage him in private or public discussions to
extrapolate a guide to his focus and direction.
However, one thing is sure: Alex Otti is
profound, pragmatic, exposed and well
connected at home and overseas.
He has, by way of his stubborn disposition and
non conformity, broken away from the
godfathers, godmothers and god-sons who
have milked and sucked Abia dry.
According him "Abia resources will be deployed
to develop Abia State".
Today, investors are afraid to put their money
on Abia because they have some sensitive intels
that are not available to the ordinary man.
Moreover, the state is heavily indebted due to
the recklessness of the previous managers.
Dr. Alex Otti will bring his excellent experience

APGA as a party has a RELATIVELY coherent political master plan that is uniform but unfortunately, the party hasn't really controlled many states. But what they have on ground speaks for them. Consider Peter Obi, Obiano and Rochas Okorocha in his first tenure (before he veered off on his own accord to join these musketeers) show a consistent legacy of focus on welfarist orientation and long-term plan of economic solidification. Otti has multiple programs along that line. For instance, there's an Aba master plan that stretches the Aba metropolis to as far as Ukwa, with various PPP and private-sector-driven viable housing estates development aimed at the middle class business people in Aba to Own houses and to decongest the current Aba city. There is also provision for low-cost housing but the emphasis is on creating house OWNERS and not just offering the people housing for tenantry residence. This way the State will greatly combat the sociological and economic burden and nuisance on the state associated with people living decades in Aba without having a home of their own. Payment for these houses would stretch over many years, like we have in western countries. The industrialization policy is something else and it will be fast. But it starts with providing the infrastructures that will make viable economic activities and industrialization feasible.
Unknown to many, as far back as late 2014, Alex Otti had contracted a foreign consortium on his own that carried out an airborne survey of Aba and came up with a strategic development masterplan of the City. This explains why he kept saying he would create a Ministry of Aba Affairs once elected as Abia State governor by 2019. He maintains that Aba will generate the resources to develop it, like Lagos State because the city's potentials are enormous.
Alex Otti also has a plan to integrate our rural communities with the urban centers by connecting them with roads. Alex Otti plans to develop farming communities in Abia.
In Otti we stand

Bros, your grammer can't save you from the blunders you made towards Abia state issue of governance.

Abia State govt is criminal by the pdp. I can't expose my state here but have it in mind we are changing this govt whether pdp equity or not. Enough is Enough.

All I see is inexperience. Paper logic and lack of problem definition.

Abia State monthly wage bill is N2.5 billion which is three time that of Ebonyi State and 25% more than Enugu State. Hiwever, apart from the cost of running ministries, agencies and parastatals which is astronomical the cost of maintaining the current political and Judicial structures is way over board.

Do you know that the government budgeted N120 billion for the past year but ended up accomplishing around 50% of the budget.

So, your so called N200 billion to transform Aba is no money my dear and the State can't generate such money without crippling most businesses and middle-class workers and entrepreneurs.

Buhari also thought it was just all about postulations and paper logic but started mourning for lack of inheritance as soon as he was elected. By the way savings is not supported by our current constitution.
Dr. Alex Otti is the man for Abia State. Ogah has made a second mistake in his political ambition by accepting to declare today to gather more supporters to Apc for Chris Akomas an Ngwaman who will get Apc primary ticket. Its politics though.

In 2015, Ikpeazu didn't win a single, I repeat a single local govt. he just sitting on supreme court judgment.

quote author=Konze70 post=69567431]I don't see this Alex becoming a governor of Abia state anytime soon. His supporters have started the noise again . You don't win elections on social media . Get your PVV and challenge him in the polls.
Op, thanks for bringing the epic declaration up here. As one of the Abia first campaign member, am here to read the Ikpeazu achievement from his Ngwa 8yrs agenda. Today, we went on sight to all his Aba road project as acclaimed by his deceived media propanda and found zero project with all the bailout, paris fund, IGR and allocation Abia got monthly. It was a very big insult to us to allow Ikpeazu to win again, which we knew he is just there as Executive personal Assitant to TA Orji family. Otti came out again to tell Abians that MMADU AKOGI NA ABIA STATE that a family will be controlling the destine of all.

We are to fight and finish come 2019.

Dead on arrival. Alex Otti is a big joker. No vacancy in Abia till 2023. OVI is doing well so no need for fake change like Bukohari. OVI till 2023. cool
