No sir, it isn't. Delta state is in fact an Educationally Developed State. In the Literacy Ranking released in 2018, Delta state was ranked as one of the most educated states in Nigeria. Adding to that, it is also not a catchment area of ABU. At such, securing an admission as an indigene of Delta is highly competitive, especially if it is a course like Law, MBBS or Pharmacy. Only one slot is available for such competitive courses in ABU.

Most of the courses under the Faculty of Education aren't competitive. They usually admit two people from a non-catchment area in less competitive departments. Apart from that, Cross-River is also an Educationally Less Developed State.

ABU does not accept second choice candidates. It is either you make ABU a first choice, or you make another school your first.

This is just a "JAMB theory of admission." It will not be practical.

Even 180 can be okay. The admission process in ABU depends on the competition from your state. If there are people from Delta who'll apply for your course with with averages lower than 180, only you will be admitted if you have just 180. Delta State is quite competitive, and I know their applicants in all departments usually score higher every year, so try and hit at least 300+ because you can't tell what other applicants from your state may get.

It depends on your definition of "costly" though. There are apartment of 50k, 80k, 100k, 120k and more.
However, you'll have to pay just N7,090 for an accommodation on campus, either in Samaru Campus or Kongo Campus.

Yes bro, but securing an accommodation is highly competitive too. The portal will be opened at a specified time, and all those seeking for an accommodation will click for the room and block they wish to be in. The network may frustrate you and if you don't act fast, all the rooms will be occupied in less than 40 minutes like it happened in Samaru last year.

It may be about 7 slots or more. Bauchi state is also one of the educationally less developed states, meaning people applying from such a state will be considered for admission because of the poor system of education in their sate.
MBBS is highly competitive anyway. Try and score high because you can't tell what other MBBS aspirants from Bauchi may score.

180 is the cut-off mark. You can get it if you're from the east only if you can be the highest of all the candidates that'll be applying Radiography from your state.
If only two people from Imo apply for Radiography and candidate A scores 300 while candidate B scores 310, only candidate B will be admitted because he's the highest.
If only one person from Imo state applies with an average of 180 which is the minimum cut-off mark, the person will be admitted automatically because he/she is the only applicant from that state.
ABU admission process is a state-by-state competition. Those from non-catchment areas are given just one slot in every competitive department.

I hope this isn't the first "project" he'll be commissioning oh.
