What business can I start in campus, or what skill do you think I can learn on campus? I need your contributions on this please, especially from those in Kongo Campus, ABU Zaria.
I think JAMB should be in charge of admissions. For example, if they say the cut-off point for Medicine and Surgery in ABU Zaria is 315, no candidate below that should be admitted. Though ELDS candidates should be considered, unless they don't want most of them to be in school, lol. Their marks should be made lower than that 315, maybe 290. This will also reduce the rate of partial admissions through connection, as it will no longer be the case of "my father is a close friend to the registrar." Catchment areas should also remain for now.
asuustrike1: Subject combination and less knowledge about the subjects chosen are main factors responsible. If you watch closely you would discover that many the science students have high scores in science related subjects than English.
In 2018, about 1.8 million candidates sat for the UTME. Sequel to the release of the results, JAMB released the top ten highest scorers.
My observation was that all the top ten and even top 20 highest scorers were science students. It got me wondering why only science students top the chart yearly. You may think it's because art students are dull but there are also very serious and intelligent art students.
Does that mean out of the almost one million art candidates that sit yearly for UTME, it's impossible to find someone scoring at least 320? In fact, the highest score I've seen from an art student so far is 303. I've never seen or heard of someone claiming they have seen higher than that.
GreatResearcher: According to research, 90% of Nigerian Christians both in Nigeria and abroad were strongly against Buhari's re-election as president.
It was gathered that the Christians communities believed that Buhari was embarking on a mission to Islamised Nigeria and to impose Shara law in the nation.
Many Christian groups, GOs, churches prayed serious against Buhari's re-election. Some went as far as praying for his death if he attempts to contest for a second term.
Now, not Just Buhari being alive and winnign the election. He is alive in good health and won with a wider margin.
Questions..
Why didn't a God hear his Children's cry 'prayers' and attend to them just like he did to the Israelites when they were in Egypt?
If God ignored them 'Christian Nigerians' because of their sins, are their sins worse than that of the Israelites?
So many men of God prophesy that Buhari will not come back second term some said right from 2015 during the recession period that Buhari will not live to finish his first tenure and the reverse became the case. Does their God really exists? Here is a video of a man of God saying that God says he only aproves Buhari's first term. That if Buhari campaigns for second term he will die..
Buhari didn't just campaign but he campaigned and won.
megacity: Atiku is losing this election because of his woeful performance in the North ...If he even got 40% on northern votes, he would have won this election.
The South did everything for him ...Winning all states in SE and SS, plus SW also did him a huge favour by giving a good chunk votes
Which all states in the SW? Is it not Ekiti and Osun Buhari still flooded massively?
katniss: But PDP gave you a free peaceful, free and fair election 2015. Refuse to have sense you hear, refuse
Yet under PDP we weren't living peacefully in the north-east as humans were killed daily like chickens. Under this administration, we're gradually winning the war against Boko Haram. If it were to be under your boss, I don't think there will even be many votes from the north-east because many people there would have been dead under the watch of the callous PDP government in power.
tuniski: I repeat I am moslem and I am cool like that. Yobe and borno have always been conservative north never governed by pdp. The projection for Yobe and borno is 25%, taraba, adamawa sure banker for Atiku while Gombe/bauchi cclose to Call.
That is already a victory for pdp.
Okay sir. Enjoy your illusion while it lasts before it will be destroyed on or before Wednesday.
tuniski: You live in the north that's good. Me I am a northerner, a moslem and Lives In the north. I repeat the NW/NE will disappoint buhari/apc tomorrow.
You guys ain't detailed if not, you will be very worried as defeat looms for buhari.
A northerner Muslim saying "Moslem" is that one a northerner? Funny. Let me tell you, I'm from Potiskum, Yobe state, northeastern Nigeria. In the north-east especially, it will be easier to find gold than to find an ardent supporter of Atiku. Adamawa state may be his only sure bet because he's from there, but he can't even win that state with 70%.
Pekele007: Yet he couldn't get over 20million votes in 2015.
This is North vs North. Be guided.
It is still North vs South. Here in the north, many people support Buhari. Don't be fooled by the posts you see on Nairaland or social media platforms like "Arewa youths endorse Atiku" and other blah blah news. Let me not talk too much sha, the final result will do the rest talking.
