In Naira Marley’s opinion, defrauding the whites of their hard-earned money is directly proportional to taking blacks as slaves which was done to the blacks in ancient times. Naira Marley thinks defrauding the whites is nothing short of karma and shouldn’t be discouraged, the same way slavery was not discouraged back then.

This whole talk came as a result of Simi's statement the other day about Yahoo boys. Recall that she had told Yahoo boys to stop buying her music? This statement was in response to a fan’s comment that those who enrich her by buying her songs and paying for her shows are Yahoo boys. Simi then said if that’s the case, then they should stop.

Naira Marley, after meeting Simi at a concert and being
eyeballed by her in a certain way, he wrote: “Why look at me like that? Do I look like a Yahoo boy? If you know about slavery, you go know say yahoo no be crime.”

I wonder why Nigerians are fond of criticizing the Nigerian Police Force when they put so much tenancious efforts to curb crime. I know there are bad elements in the Force who collect N50 bribes on the highways and indulge in other nefarious activities, but we don't appreciate the positive things they do. Yes, there are Yoruba people there but if you trace their antecedent historically, they are not originally indigenes of Kwara.

Illorin is in the North-Central. Historically, a Yoruba man named Afonja escaped from Oyo to settle in Illorin after he was expected to commit suicide. This is why there are Yoruba people in Kwara.
