Nairaland GeneralWhat Is That Bad Incident You'll Never Forget? by iceboy4752(op): 11:50pm On Mar 07, 2019
Nairalanders, what's that creepy incident that left unforgettable scars in your memory?
Though I've had many bad incidents, but let me share the most recent one.
I was travelling to Jos together with my elder brother when a red Honda sped past us. In the car was a young man who waved at us with a very unusual and amiable smile across his face. My brother responded with a horn.
We got to a village close to Kaffanchan some minutes later. There was a heavy traffic because two cars had collided. It involved an Opel vehicle and that of the man who waved at us moments before that. We saw the moment his corpse was brought out of the car by some men. He was on a white attire that got totally soaked in blood.
We were really shocked that day. The incident leafed through my memory for many days.

He is not. He has never left the south east but you will see him arguing with a south southerner on whats happening in Bayelsa, arguing with a North westerner about Zamfara, arguing with a South Westerner about Osun and arguing with someone from Kwara about NC politics. Thats what he is
You bad oh. grin grin

Please ask him. Maybe there were cultists in the past but even if there were, I am completely unaware. The north has a lot of negative sides but cultism isn't one of them @southeastfacts
Abi oh, I wonder if the SouthEastFacts guy is even an Abusite.

SouthEastFacts:
I didn't say cult activities in the North is at par with the level in the East.

What I was trying to tell APCsupporter is that there are cult-related activities in the core North. Cult activities in the NC is at alarming rate and compares with the East.

About ABU, I know what I am saying. During the peak of the activity, the University management used hunters to pursue them out of the campus. Right now, they don't operate within the University like before but within Zaria environ their is high cult activities but still in crude stage, smoke, take drugs and pursue women unlike in the South where those guys are armed to the teeth.
When exactly was that? I've never seen hunters within Kongo or Samaru Campus. I've never heard of someone also talking about this.

You must be seeing Igbo giants in your dream. Everything Igbo this, Igbo that.

Sorry boss, have you heard of Pyramid Marin Patrol in Kano? I guess not, if not you would have known that Kano is one of the strong SVC (Supreme Vikings Confraternity) deck and there is a strong presence of Buccaneers in ABU, Zaria.

You don't do drug trafficking but you are the largest consumer of drugs in this country and the largest clandestine drug market in the country is in Zaria.

Maybe you need to take a walk to any Ama Hausa in the East. Go and see how your sisters are destroying the bodies for pathetic amount. The funniest thing is that they do it with their Holy Hijab on.

I wonder between an Almajiri and baby factory which one is worst.

Hausas are not better than the South morally. You guys don't just want to attempt it.
I admit that there's an increase in cultism in the north. We call them "Yan Daba." That does not mean that cultism in the north is at a more alarming rate than the south.
Talking about ABU Zaria, I'm a student there, and what you're saying against cultism in ABU is untrue.
We've heard so many stories of Innocent students gunned down by cultists in UNILAG, UNIBEN, UNIZIK, DELSU and others. I've never heard of someone killed by rival cult members in ABU, BUK, UNIMAID, YSU or any other core northern university. The reason why there's increase in cultism in some northern universities like UNIJOS, UNILORIN and others is because of the presence of many southerners there. Though I'm not trying to say the southerners are evil, but just admit the truth that cultism is higher in the south. All regions including the north have their setbacks.

Am from Delta state. Hope am good 2go?
Yes, you're. But I want you to know that Delta state is not an ABU catchment area. Non-catchment admission can be likened to a "survival of the fittest" in which only the person with the highest average score survives and secures the only one available slot in every competitive department.
Assuming two of you from Delta state apply for Pharmacy and your average is 300, while the other person got 295, they'll admit you because you are the highest. They may change the course of the other person with 295 or not even admit them. This is why I told you not to feel too complacent with the "seemingly low" 180 cut-off point. Though you can still be admitted with that 180 if only it is the highest score from a Pharmacy aspirant from Delta state, or you're the only Delta person that will apply for Pharmacy. However, there's no guarantee about that, just try and score as high as you can.

What is the cut off mark for pharmacy in Abu Zaria?
180 is the cut-off mark for all courses in ABU. Don't feel complacent with the seemingly "low cut-off mark" sha. The course is one of the most competitive courses in ABU, especially for those from a non-catchment area.
What state are you from BTW?

Mine is Civil Engineering. I have so much passion for the course, but my inability to comprehend Mathematics and too much calculations was the main factor that hindered me from achieving that feat.
I'm proud of my present course though.
