When the killings started in maiduguri he personally acted, even calling on the leaders and elders to speak up and condemn these senseless killings. They did nothing, they supported and justified it; saying boko-haram was just like any other religious sect. Nigerians said GEJ was weak.
 When he acted and sent in troops, he was accussed of being a southern and killing "innocent muslims". Even  senators  from maiduguri said the troops should leave; that the troops were "harassing" boko-haram. (these are peeps that leave in abj and whose kids are most likely schooling here). After that troops were killed and churches were burnt.
 What do you actually want gej to do? Knowing that he will be accussed of acting form an enthic or religious point of view. Just free gej.

The killings overtly or covertly being carried out in the name of Islam call for a deep concern. This is not new in the history of Nigeria. The only difference here is the spate of occurrence and frequency.
Why this when we claimed to have chosen a "fresh air" as the president. This is a pointer to the fact that mr president is a mistake in the history of Nigeria just like past rulers.
He lacks the required stuff to face the myriad of challenges bedeviling our country esp after the last general election. He needs to start acting as a president else we are just starting.

Sanusi;  Is he not the one who said yorubas are the greatest problem of naija? According to sanusi every other tribe in nigeria apart from his tribe is the problem of naija.  . May God save us from hypocrites and liars. After using CBN money to buy land in abj to rear cattle and build hotels ( Are women going to be allowed into this hotel? will alcohol be sold?). Just heard that in sanusi's home town of kano, the state government destroyed some  bottles of beer; but at thesame time collect money based on tax from the sale of alcohol.

Why do we nigerians suffer from amnesia. Was it not this same guy that shared money with bankole. I can remember he was one of those who was against the probing of the 360 cars bought for 6 000 000 naira each (there actual cost was 4 millon naira) and the 360 touch-lights bought for 18 000 naira each (touch-light made in heaven. ) by the last assembly. When Keyamo brought up the case, himself and Ali Ndume condenmed nigerians and dino melaye for asking questions. He was part of the leadership at that time.
Even someone i respected very so much in the person of Abike Dabiri, also defended Bankole and the leadership (because bankole made her chairman of the house committee on diaspora). They were busy buying computer monitors for 500 000 naira each, they even bought tooth-pick and other items for members at extremely high rates.
Since then, IMHO they are all thesame; they are all first class thieves.

Exclusion from school today, ethnic cleansing tomorrow; its the slow creep to babies heads being chopped open and their mothers burnt alive as occurs in Jos. Its a path to evil, backwardness, primitivity, barbarity and shamelessness.

In my opinion, this matter needs to be mentioned to the UN as another case of the violation of the human rights of children in Nigeria.

They children were already in school and they were kicked out. My question still remains; if these children were from other "rich" states such as lagos or oyo, will they be discriminated against?

But when talking about disabled school children being treated in an inhumane way, i believe we should all say it as it is.

there is nothing in common between the issue in abia and this. the 'foreign' workers in abia, are putting their income back into the state. they are renting, purchasing, setting up roots there. they are workers. the delta children on the other hand, in the end, will go back to delta state. ekiti will have used up its meagre resources developing human capital for a far richer state.

if delta state was poor, i might understand. but it is DISGRACEFUL , that a state with all that revenue cannot focus on what is importnat, and would rather its citizens are forced to go to lesser states.

Why do you speak this way? . You are they one who is stirring up hatred. When the abia govr. did same, he was condemned(even though these were workers). Now it happens in ekiti(disabled children for that matter), but you try and justify it. By the way, Abia is a very poor state in terms of finances.

Is there any evidence of this? How about all ekiti people scattered all over the country? And are being looked after by other state govns. Will you also say the ekiti state govn. does not  care about them? People can choose to live any where they like. Please do not try and justify what is wrong.

In my opinion, a poor state like Ekiti is really stirring up the hornets nest. I see other similarly poor states engaging in copy cat actions out of the very same debased bigotry that pushed the Ekiti governor to act the way he did. It is a very sad day indeed.

I said it, they guys in ekiti should not start what they cannot finish. This is not about delta state or being rich or poor. It is about discrimination. They should not put  other yoruba people in bad light. If other states begin to eject ekiti peeps back to their "poor state" what would they say?
