What's it with you and false accusations ? What level have you seen me place Samu on? You said he has to go to the WYC and that is false because even the coach has named him as a prospect for the AFCON. If you are saying it is in the interest of the nation that he goes to the AFCON that means even you yourself know what he brings to the table. I am all for not hyping a player but don't bring them down unnecessarily.
What False accusation are you talking about here?
I opined that Chukwueze is not at the level some of you guys are placing him and u say false accusations. Were u not here when he was likened to Rooney and some even said he would bench DI Maria at PSG? Even if you were not among those that said it, that comment is not directed at you in particular.

False accusation of what? Please stop being too sentimental.

He doesn't have to go to the WYC it just happens that he falls in that age group.
He is not at that level you guys are placing him. Even Messi and Aguero played at the WYC.
Country's interest before individual please.

No thanks to sky BT and BBC pundits.
PSG are a very good club. There are probably only 1 or 2 clubs that are better than them in the whole of Europe.

I am really proud of the players....
what if I tell you that what the coach asked them to play for was nothing but a draw...

Nigeria clubs really a psychologist... someone who can psyche them up and make them see possibilities in winning away games
They were even wasting time and falling on the pitch Asif they are leading the tie on aggregate grin

Looking at the table of Lobi's group they should normally be 3rd (as things stand) seeing the Goal Difference of -1, but alas CAF put a team with GD of -4 higher.

Or am I missing something in FIFA rules?
Head to Head before Goal difference bro. Thar is CAF rule. ASEC beat Lobi in Abidjan

Icon4s Did I not tell you there's nothing special about Wydad?
There was nothing they threw that wasn't thrown back
grin
Yes I remember u said it.

Lobi actually fought a good fight. They needed at least this draw to keep the hope alive even though it is still a slim hope.

I think Wydad underrated Lobi. If Lobi had played with more confidence up-front they could have scored.

Anyway asides from taiwo ogunjobis role in the nff, the best times of my darling club sooting stars ( no mistake in my spelling) in recen years was when he was the team admin.I think he was also an ex international if am not mistaken.
Yes he played for the Green Eagles.

I find it very difficult to AGREE WITH YOU.

Which NFF Chairman are you talking about please.
I am not surprised. Even if I say your moniker is Komekn you will still find it very difficult to agree. grin

Let me ask u one question. You knew Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi was once Secretary General of the NFA, under whose chairmanship? If u can't remember without checking google so can I not. Which points to my point that Ogunjobi was ff not but almost more popular than the then FA Chairman.
Except u are telling me u never knew Taiwo Ogunjobi before now.

Jihday himself could attest to how he thought Ogunjobi was the NFF chairman as he was being referred to as "the Scribe".

firstly, this comment is so insensitive as insensitive as they come, but then I'm not surprised, since you don't know Taiwo Ogunjobi it means you are a young chap who just started following the super eagles. @icon4s at a point I tot NFA scribe also means NFA Chairman cos na everyday Larry Izamoje dey mention his name. may his soul rest in perfect peace. and to think he contested in the last NFF elections
Taiwo Ogunjobi who was the Secretary General was more popular than the NFA chairman then, whose name I am still trying to remember.
Yes he was called the NFF scribe. Larry Echiejile/Izamoje was always mentioning his name because Taiwo Ogunjobi was a very active player in our football setting. It was as if he was running the show. Another NFA player was Kashimawo Laloko. This one na fire for fire, just that he became very greedy.

I simply don't give a fawkgrin.
So please no vex if someone here calls you indomie generation grin grin grin

Taiwo Ogunjobi was almost even more popular than the NFF chairman he worked under. That was during the Golden era of Nigerian football. smiley

He however in later years got his hand stained with corrupt practices during Olanrewaju Kayode's transfer and got a 10year ban! Some believe Kayode is still being punished because of that case.

His contribution to the growth of Nigerian football in the 90s was immense. He was a progressive. smiley

Till this day I don't even know if the keeper saved or it hit the bar but once we saw the ball flying away, peeps were jumping straight out of the window in pure joy. I have never seen that kind of cheering again, well till the day Nigeria got that penalty in this recent world cup.
