tbaba1234: Samuel Chukwueze is not struggling.
He has easily been one of Villarreal better players this season. His sitting on the bench had nothing to do with form but with the dire situation, the team finds itself..
The coach has decided that he needs the experienced players to dig them out. That means less opportunities for youngsters.
Chukwueze has already overachieved this season. We need to be patient. I perfectly agree with this comment. By and large we should all calm down and allow the lad to develop. He is still in the bakery. |

andrew444: Agreed that the boy is struggling but he will bounce back
Some people is saying he should leave Villarreal as if he has earn his credit or there are even offers for him ,I told them he should stay there and develope, some even say he will fight and make psg first team
They won't say anything about chukwueze but if it's iheanacho almost everybody will insult him
Chukwueze will bounce back the kid is still 19 so there is time because the kid has the potential . Nops rather than say "bounce back" say "he will get better". He was never where u guys thought he was. |

Mickael2: Never belonged to the hype train but in Chukwueze's case I think he at least deserves a break. At that age players almost always have consistency issues, granted he is no Robben or Messi or anything but don't say he has flopped because of a few games. It is his first professional season, let us see what he brings to the table next season then we can decide. As at this season just get used to fluctuating returns, although it seems this coach has no patience and/or confidence in him as I believe that he should have trusted him a little bit more but the real analysis should start next season.
My main problem is with people that think that because of him players like VicMo and Simon Moses should be dropped from the Afcon squad, that kind talk sha is very annoying Remember Colin Udoh's article on the New Toy and Old Toy? A lot of peeps here are very guilty of that. |

fabyom: Agreed boss. I was upset with Equavon. At the nation's cup especially. It was so obvious Eguavoen had little or no tactical input in that team. A team where his former team mates in Okocha and Kanu were more respected than him. |

Ok o. But me I just know that boy is not at the stage they are placing him. He has just started playing professional Football and so he is still at the developmental stage. An U20 WC would have helped his development. But if Rohr so wishes he plays in the AFCON instead, where he will spend most of the time on the bench, well, who am I? |

Kog45: Facts,Ola Aina is the best performing Nigsria defender this season and whether RB or RWB he is the best,so left for Rohr to decide but funny enough Shehu Abdullahi is Rohr preffered choice. It is left to how he would perform when given the opportunity in the GWG. I am sure u know club form may not necessarily translate to national team form. |

tbaba1234: Age cheating is one of the major factors affecting football development in Nigeria. Under 20 is meant for 18 and 19 year olds. A 25 year old playing under 20 will be 30 in 5 years time. This means that the player is already on the decline when he should be entering into his prime.
This is partly the reason why we are not producing super stars anymore. These guys are finished before they come to the limelight.
In addition, age cheating in south America is not as rampant as it is in Nigeria. Not even close. Many of these Brazilian and Argentinian stars were discovered as kids. U20 is meant for Players 20years and below. |

Starboytwo: Erm I just Want to chip in a little somethimg about the age-cheat paro... Well I believe all Nigerian players cheat.... Wait
Its not a bad thing per say, and no be today he start but at the same time no be all of them cheat.... Atleats osaze, iwobi and our oyinbo breeds them might not cheat... It's a normal thing in football to remove 5-7 years off your age... I also had dreams of playing like all kids in the hood... It's normal... And thankfully it's being tackled and not very prevalent,
I'm my opinion removing 4-5 years no be anything really and I'm assuming most of our players(and Africa at large, South America and other part of the world still engage in the practice)...
Pls always make sure to remember that things are really different in Nigeria and Africa... Most of us just dey one academy dey train, maybe I'd be 25 and can easily slot for u20, GOD help you one team in Belgium sign u, you don go be that.... Do you know Raheem lawal(wole).. Played in turkey and handful of match for the super eagles, I remember when he played u23, meanwhile his immediate younger sister was older than me with 1 year (I was 22 then or so)..... Same with this guy okechukwu (okey) played for Chan eagles.. The lefty guy.... We played together once and his real age should be around 26-28,that I'm very sure of,cuz his junior brother man's their popsy spare part shop in my street and he should be 23-24...so it's not rocket science to reduce age...
But the Koko is if your not my parent, guardian or have my birth certificate, then whatever age you can deduce from my appearance is your problem... My age is the age i say my age it is.... We have all accepted there is age cheating in Nigeria and Africa at large. In as much as you can point players u know personally that were involved in age cheating I have in time past here also pointed out players that I know personally that used their real age. What I personally dislike is the condemnation of our players based only on photo appearances. Some even go as far as wishing the team to crash out and writing off the players that they will never make it to the SE. I Condemn age cheating, in fact we all here do here. But we must also have it at the back of our minds that not all our players cheat with their ages. |

BascoVanVeli: I think Ola Aina has done enough at club level to be given a chance to make the RB position his own. I have been liking what I've been seeing from the lad in Serie A this season. His own? He has to earn it in the GWG bro. |

Danielnino00: The way some African football fans place so much emphasis on this juju thing is ridiculous... I observed that its more common among Zambians.. it all started after that 2017 u-20 AYC where a Senegal player was seen holding something that looked like juju on the pitch... Since that day,Zambian football fans start associating west African teams with juju... South African Fans have also in times past accused Nigeria of using "Mutu" (there own name for "Juju''). Because it always amazed them how our mostly ill-prepared teams will always beat their always well prepared and motivated teams. Dem no know say na Class difference. The Libyan coach last year also accused Nigeria of using "juju" I know he became more sure of this when we hammered them 4:0! |
