The Ivory Coast launches yet another deadly striker in Vakoun Issouf Bayo 21. He got 18 goals in 23matches in the first half of the season. Bony once had such sick numbers for Vittesse. Afcon 2019 go sweet ah swear

Zaha...........Bayo...........Pepe ==Cote d'ivoire
Balde.........Mane...........Sarr ==Senegal

Kalu/Musa......Osimhen.....Chuks == Nigeria
You and this your Ivory Coast sef undecided

grin now its only the Lord guard that shout Up Sooting anymore.
The Club is trying to turn into a talent groomer/marketer but their issue is funds.

but oboi any SW derbies brings full house o. Those old men no de gree o
You know there was also this Geopolitical/ Regional rivalry then. All the Igbos will support Rangers while the Yorubas would support Sooting. The stadiums were always jam-packed.

Another SW team that pulled crowd were stationery stores. They used to play at the Onikan stadium.

I remember the 1990 FA Cup final between Stores and Rangers. It ended 0-0 after 120 minutes at the national stadium Lagos. It ended in penalties and stores won. That game was shown live on NTA and everyone was really tensed. Due to my origin my parents were Rangers fans so I had no choice but to also be a Rangers Fan grin

My mom in particular felt so bad after Rangers lost that my Dad was even consoling her grin She was a die-hard Rangers fan. Till today she still mistakenly called the Super Eagles "Rangers" grin

But immediately Abia was created and then Enyimba rose me I Port to Enyimba o grin

Bros Abiriba is blessed. The topography and spatiality of the land makes for a sweet bionomics with their wealth (mansions). The top lands, the valleys the vegetations so corresponds with the great architectural designs of the edifices to make that place look like a paradise. I wonder why they are this successful honestly. About the whole country, please remember Nnewi is still a town in Nigeria buh Abiriba is truly pulling weight. I really pity next generations of Ngwas (Icon4s dem), if u enter Aba, Abiriba boys dun buy virtually every piece of land there, even down to the villages of Ngwa. Ngwa just dey sell their lands give dem like mad.

Lol why do u guys like taunting us with that isi-ukwu-ato sef? Remember our babes dey fine, little wonder u rush come carry one. Ogo m ndewo.

About Uche and Kalu, those two have humility written all over them. I was so mad with Keshi when he was playing his dirty games with the brothers, especially IK.

Lol ur last paragraph sha. I be easterner through and through. Born and brought up in 042(Enugu), schooled in Abia. I actually know many places in Igbo land through relatives, friends and work. Owerri like I said was a flexing zone for me back then, Umuahia and its environs na via my mum when she was working with FMC. I should know ur villa well as an isuikwuato man though last time I came was in 2016 for one Chinagorom's burial.
Abiriba people are among the most properous in Igboland.

They have one of the most beautiful "Towns" in Nigeria. Just that because of their type topography they don't have good roads. Abiriba People are very good business men, they like investing in real estate and like building at home. On Abiriba taking over Aba and some other parts of Ngwa land no wahala. Sebi they are also Abians. But Ngwa people too dey try o. Obu anyi nwe Port. cool

Haba Lobi play the better football na. My only problem with them was their refusal to score a 3rd goal apart from that they were eye candy.
Go back and re-watch the last two games Enyimba played in Aba before they played Raja. The ones they won 1-0 (late winner) and 5-1. Ie against Carra Brazaville and APR. Enyimba Attacked better than this Lobi team.

I can give Lobi kudos because they beat a highly ranked team. But in terms of play those Enyimba games i mentioned were more exciting.

3SC has lost fans in Ibadan because of their perennial relegations. They now use the smaller Lekan Salami/Adamasingba Stadium & they've been able to utilize it a bit.

Ranchers Bees just went poof, no further story. I think the only good thing about our Govt owned club custom is longevity.
Gone are those days when going to play "Sooting" in Ibadan was like going to play at Nou Camp grin

3SC vs Rangers was our el-classico. Ibadan or Enugu would shut down that day. People Even traveled to Ibadan from Lagos to watch that clash.

"Up Sooting", "Up Sooting" would be the shout in the mouth of the Ibadan fans grin

Compared to the others you mentioned, The Cathedral host matches every other week and money is generated for its maintenance at least.

The others are very dormant, dormant things dilapidate. There is little will to maintain dormant things don't you think?
Yeah spot on.

Enugu Rangers being in the top professional league for long has ensured the stadium has been kept in use. Unlike Lagos Clubs, 3SC and Kaduna United and Ranchers Bees. BTW Ranchers Bees used to have their stadium way back then. It even hosted part of the 1995 AYC.

Vincent Enyeama: Nigeria keeper wants to
play again
By Oluwashina Okeleji
Football Writer, Nigeria
11 Jan
Former Nigeria keeper and captain Vincent
Enyeama is determined to carry on playing
Former Nigeria captain Vincent Enyeama is keen
on a return to football almost two years after
making his last competitive appearance for French
club Lille.
The 36-year old last played for Lille in April 2017
and he was released by the 2011 French
champions in August 2018.
"I have put the past behind me as I continue to train
and hoping to make a positive return," Enyeama
told BBC Sport, denying reports he was about to
quit the game.
"I've received some offers in Israel and Turkey. But
at this stage in life I want to make family a priority
when I need to make a move, because they are very
settled here in France.
"The way I play football is with a smile and I would
love to do that knowing my family is happy and
settled."
The former Enyimba goalkeeper joined Lille from
Isreali side Hapoel Tel Aviv in June 2011 and made
164 appearances, but he and 10 other player s were
told to look for a new club by former boss Marcelo
Bielsa at the start of the 2017/18 season.
"The way things ended at Lille was disappointing, it
was sad to leave the club alongside others who
gave everything; without the chance to say a proper
goodbye to the fans," he added.
"You are recovering (from an injury) after giving so
much to the club and suddenly everything ended
like that, respectful football decisions are made -
with a new manager and project on the table.
"I quite understand and respect that, yet it was not
the kind of end you would want for a beautiful story
but this is football.
"I always share positive energy every time I get a
chance to see some of our fans, it is a good bond
that will always live with me."
Enyeama, who played 101 times for the Super
Eagles, helped the club to the 2016 French League
cup final where they were edged by giants Paris St-
Germain 2-1.
With 17 clean sheets from 35 league games in the
2013/14 season, he emerged as the first
goalkeeper to be named French Ligue 1 African
Player of the Season.
Enyeama made his international debut against Kenya
in May 2002 in Lagos and during his international
career he helped Nigeria win the 2013 Africa Cup of
Nations in South Africa, where he emerged as the
tournament's best goalkeeper.
He played in five Nations Cup tournaments - in
2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2013 - and was part
of the Nigeria squad at the 2002, 2010 and 2014
World Cup tournaments.
The former Maccabi Tel Aviv stopper, who won two
African Champions League titles with Enyimba,
retired from international football in October 2015.
Enyeama's honours:
Club success:
3 Nigerian league titles
2 Caf Champions League titles
1 Caf Super Cup
2 Israeli League titles
2 Israeli FA Cup
International success:
1 Nations Cup
3 Nations Cup third-place medals
Personal honours:
2004 Caf Champions League player of the year
2009 Israeli Footballer of the year
2013 French Ligue 1 player of the month for
October and November
2014 French Ligue 1 African Player of the Season
3 Nigerian player of the year honours
Find out more
Maybe we will consider him for CHAN. Mtcheew..... "rada rada".

His exploits at Chievo which coincided with his early years in national color is the highlight of his career.

Why won't he perform wonders at AYC 2005? Dude was playing against boys way younger than him. If success were to be born that Era, probably, he would be playing for U-16 currently.
So which exploits has Success made for either club or country?

Success has not done anything of note thus far in his senior career for you to compare him with Obinna Nsofor. Isaac Success's greatest achievement to date was emerging highest goal scorer at the CAF U17. The rating he gets till date is mainly attributed to that performance. But as a professional player sorry Success nova start. No basis for comparison at all.

If you mention Ahmed Musa you have a valid point but Success? Sorry nothing yet.

Is number of caps now the only determinant of how good a player is?
Oga it seems u didn't really follow Obinna Nsofor. Did u watch him at the 2005 AYC? His brace in that final against Egypt won us that title. Did you follow his performance during the Olympics? Did you follow him at Verona? This was a player that caught Mourinho's attention at Inter Milan and he went for him.

Isaac Success has not done enough for both club and country to earn him a comparison with Obinna Nsofor. At the age Success is Nsofor was already commanding a place in the then Stars studded Super Eagles team.

Nsofor's performance when he was at WestHam, at the later stages of his career, was even better than what we are seeing of Success now at Watford.

Such a talented Left back. I think his problems started from when he lost his Dad. It might just be a co-incidence but he just started battling one injury or the other. And that was when Taiye Taiwo just Rose from Lobi Stars and emerged 3rd best player at the WYC and he just moved straight into the SE left back.

Former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles skipper Kelechi Nwakali may be recalled by Premier League side Arsenal in the January transfer window, allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

The former Super Eagles invitee was farmed out on loan to Portuguese club Porto for the entirety of the season and currently plays for their B team in the LigaPro.

Though Porto are hoping to keep the attacking midfielder until June 30, 2019, he believes he is good enough to play for the first team of a top European club.

And it is for that reason Nwakali is prepared to walk away from his deal with Porto before the close of the January transfer window though his situation has changed since the start of 2019, having started the last two matches played by Porto B in the league.

It is understood that Belgian and Spanish clubs are keeping tabs on the situation of the highly-rated youngster with a view to signing him on loan as Arsenal are not willing to sell him outright.

Kelechi Nwakali is tied into a deal with the Gunners until the summer of 2021.
