do u v information probably d last matches in both groups of d super8 tomorrow will be played simultaneously to avoid issues of fixing or unprecedented results
There is no way the games can be played at different times as each zone only has one stadium. This may give room for match fixing as the teams that will play the second game will have the undue advantage.

No be everything be avenue to clown, e get some things wey you suppose reason with sober mind.
We know Oyango is just there to represent the East and Southern African slot. Because Ahmad Ahmad's sole agenda is to make sure that Region is always represented in anything CAF organizes.

Well maybe CAF also considered top level clubs to make d first 11 stronger and not littered with udinese, leganes,Leicester etc grin grin grin
So CAF did not consider the relevance of Players' international duty performances like the World Cup and 2019 AFCON Qualifiers? Then they should scrap CAF and let UEFA govern football in Africa since they only consider the Clubs they play in.

Do you think Theirry Henry would have adapted at Juventus with a style that was hard for him to fit in? Does that mean Henry was a player without great abilities? What of Diego Forlan who failed woefully at Manchester United?
Let me help you add. Mohammed Salah failed at Chelsea, went to Roma and Came back to Blow at Liverpool. Romelu Lukaku was a "waste pipe" at Chelsea but had a good spell at Everton and early part of his Manchester United career.
Robben was a flop at Chelsea but went to become a scoring machine at Bayern Munich.

But the question is how many players had this kind of change of fortune in their careers?

Iheanacho really needs to step up his game. He and Isaac Success should be playing at higher levels than they are presently. Their partnership in the Super Eagles should have been tearing down defenses now. But like I said before this is not something new to some of us. We have seen great talents fail to live up to expectations. We just hope this will not be the case for Iheanacho and Success.

This is what I saw while browsing some pages back

Victor Moses out of Nigeria's friendlies:

Chelsea forward Victor Moses is out of Nigeria’s friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg this month, AfricanFootball.com has been told.

The Chelsea forward was one of 26 players called up for the international friendlies by interim coach Salisu Yusuf, but AfricanFootball.com can reveal he has now withdrawn from the games.

A top source at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed to AfricanFootball.com on Saturday that the 25-year old will no longer be a part of the games.

“Victor Moses is definitely out of the games against Mali and Luxembourg,” the source informed.

It remains unclear why Moses has pulled out of the games, but AfricanFootball.com was told the player cited an injury for his withdrawal from the games.

“I understand he withdrew due to a knock he suffered for his club,” the source informed further.

Moses’ withdrawal brings the number of players who have withdrawn from the games to five.

CSKA Moscow striker Aaron Samuel is out through injury, while William Troost-Ekong has club engagements and will only join up after the Mali match.

Ahmed Musa and Mikel Obi have been excused to partake in the Joseph Yobo testimonial on the same day the Eagles play their Malian counterparts.

Question is has Victor Moses committed to Nigeria enough to be called a legend?
Bros go back and check the date of this publication. This was before Rohr was even contracted. Salisu was in charge of those friendlies.

Modified: Now I understand you.

Icon4s reminded me that they actually haven't qualified but they are well on their way. All they need is a draw tomorrow against Delta Force and they'll be good to go. Even if they lose, goal difference may see them through.
They are up against 3SC.

Basco, remember that I was one of the few people (practically the only person) on this forum who said that Leicester's playing style isn't gonna favor Kelechi. Leicester's style is to pump long balls to Vardy to chase and that isn't Kelechi's style. Take it from someone who knows, KC would excel in a team like Spurs, ManCity, Bournemouth, or Everton.

O pari
Forget that talk of fitting into Leicester's style. A player with great abilities ought to have adopted by now.

Like I said very earlier-on on this thread most youth players fail to live up to expectations. We saw players in time past who were better than Iheanacho fizzle out of relevance before our very eyes.

I just hope we have not seen the best of him already.

I agree.
Keep in mind though, that Delta Force has not won a single game so far. Bendel Insurance would have to do something monumentally stupid to not qualify at this point.
Yeah.
Delta Force look like the weekest team in that group.
Insurance should be able to wave off the 3SC challenge and qualify. Remo likely to join them.

Bendel Insurance has qualified for NPFL 2019. They top their group with six points after winning both of their two games.
Delta FC and are eliminated after loosing the two games they've played so far.

Today's games (FT):
Bendel Insurance v Remo Stars 1-0
Kada City FC v Kogi Utd 3-0
Shooting Stars v Delta Force FC 2-0
Gombe Utd v Real Stars FC 1-0
\

Bendel Insurance have not qualified. See how the table stands:

Insurance 6pts +4GD
Remo Stars 3pts +2GD
3SC 3pts -1GD
Delta 0pts -5GD

All 4 teams have varying degrees of chances to qualify. Bendel Insurance can still crash out and Delta Force can still qualify. How?

See the permutations:
Next fixtures: Insurance vs 3SC, Remo vs Delta
For Delta Force to qualify they need to beat Remo Stars by 4-0 and hope Insurance beats 3SC by any margin.
For 3SC to qualify they need to beat Insurance by any margin and hope Delta Force beats Remo by any margin or If Remo beats Delta Force 3SC need to beat insurance by 3-0.
For Remo Stars to qualify they need to beat Delta Force and irrespective of what happens elsewhere they will qualify
For Bendel insurance to Crash out they will have to lose by 3-0 to 3SC and Remo beats Delta Force by any margin
For Bendel Insurance to qualify they will have to avoid losing by more than 2-0 to 3SC.

Well, this is the NPFL/NNL where anything can happen grin All 4 teams are still in the race. Though I tip Bendel Insurance and Remo Stars to qualify.

Under Vieira - probably(I remember that solo goal he scored against Manure's U21) but under Pellegrini and Pep?? I don't think so.
He didn't do too much outside the box and it took me a while to admit he was nothing more than a lethal finisher with a good final pass.
From what I had heard of his U17 Performances, I was expecting an Aguero or even a RVP type of forward. He is neither.
It's time to call it what it is - dude has not been an all rounder in senior football.
Meaning you didn't follow that U17 team? Where were you? shocked

I don't think there is a player in the current Eagles squad that can match that team in terms of ability
You saw how very skillful the two FB(More like Today's WBs), Bright Omokaro(10-10) and Yisa Shofoluwe were? They were the two architects of that goal.

That was when we used to play the "Samba style" Football. U could see the Brazilian flavor in how they played. No player from the current squad could have made that team's starting 11.

The Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick is poised to meet with Chelsea winger Victor Moses and his representative in a fortnight in a bid to lure him back to the Super Eagles fold ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations tournament in June reports Completesports.com.

‎Moses called time on his international footballing career after featuring for Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Pinnick in an interview with Channels TV sports program, Sports Tonight stated that if Moses insist on his stance, then the NFF will organise a proper testimonial for him similar to what England did for Wayne Rooney.

“With all due respect to Nigerians am talking with Victor Moses because I believe he is somebody who has paid his dues and you don’t just leave Nigeria unceremoniously and I told him that.

We also play Egypt during that window. I expect Rohr to invite most of the regulars for the two clashes, but would want to give those with less playing time more opportunity to play against Seychelles. I expect to see players like Iheanacho , Success, Onyekuru and Chukwueze start against Seychelles.
