"Young Team, Young Team" "Try new players, Try new players" "We are rebuilding, we are rebuilding" That's all we have been doing for the past 27 years.
Our Senior national team no longer Plays like the SUPER EAGLES cos I find it difficult calling these ones Super Eagles.
The standard of the team continues to drop as the more experienced players continue to exit the national team.
We don't even have any trusted goalie anymore. From Ogedengbe/Okala era to Rufai/Agbonabare/Shorunmu era to Enyeama/Ejide/Ayenugba era to Ikeme/Akpeyi/Ezenwa era and now Uzoho/Okoye (the worst era)
As our economy is getting worse so also is our football getting worse.
Danielnino00: To be honest, Nike went off board with that design, but it was beautiful and we'll accepted... I think the success of the 2018 kit inspired them to continue with the same design for the 2020 own . Thank God we now have a plain white away jersey ..
Maybe we will debut it against Algeria
Algeria's home Jersey is white. And so we will have to play with all green
Danielnino00: Lol .It isn't that bad looking.. I particularly like the away kit..At least we will finally get to have a proper white away kit not that bitter leaf own.. I know chief icon4s will be pleased about that .
Our home kit has always been green on green and away kit has always been all white or white on green.
I still find it hard accepting that lemon color for Home jersey and deep green for away jersey.
Our national colors are green and white and our national jerseys should reflect that.
TheSuperNerd: We move ooo.... moving to Peseiro's next list of invites and further football action.
Alhassan and Onyedika should be getting their calls sooner rather than later.
And the exciting thing about their call-ups is not just that they deserve it but it is also about what they will be addressing tactically in our team.
Yeah, also looking forward to the release of the next team list.
I don't expect to see someone like Ahmed Musa, going forward. Man has paid his dues for the national team and it is time for him to retire honorably from the national team.
Well, the emphasis of that vawulence episode was on "2K beggar" rather than fat. I mean, endomorphs are a welcome part of society as one of the 3 major body types.
So yeah, you missed that episode. Damn, it was dirty and fun. And HAD to be done.
This Dokinta sef just dey confuse me with Biological terminologies.
Well it’s my nature and miles better than having numerous proxy accounts here for the purpose of liking and supporting posts my own post(highest level of pettiness)
Also I rather become fatter than been a dick sucker(homo)
If care is not taken person wey dey body shame me on a constant I fit Dey better looking that him
TheSuperNerd: What is Frank Onyeka's current form like, mister fat beggar ?
Why do you dodge answering this question straight up especially after you included him in that disgustingly dishonest list of Midfielders BASED ON CURRENT FORM?
ANSWER IT and ANSWER IT STRAIGHT IF YOU HAVE THE COJONES, fat boy.
As far as he has been here na only these words we know him for: Prejudice, Emotive negative bias, foreign-born. Ask him to name players na the same set of players he go dey mention.
Kog45: Yes highly talented from U17 and I still see him as one though things did not worked for him as expected.I have seen highly talented players that didn't make it as footballers but I still refer to them as highly talented ones, for instance Tarila Okoronwata.
Well said,Nwakili still in division two and on his special skill set,it was here am hearing special skill set.All players have special attributes,so Nwakili special skill set was just one of those hypes words.
Kelechi Nwakali is a highly talented player no doubt and there has always been this high expectation around him. It was always expectation that he will come through one day. But.... his development doesn't just seem right. With the kind of expectations placed on him years back he should be up there with the likes of Osimhen and Chukwueze by now. Boy should have been the Super Eagles main man in the midfield. But...……... Too bad.
They were really poor in their first game but they played better this time or will I say the US team didn't didn't play as well as they did in their previous game
I am still highly disappointed with the performance of this team at the recently concluded AWCON. Meanwhile, I expect to see Flourish Sabastine and Esther Onyenezide infused into this team before the 2023 Women's world Cup. For me, Ifeoma Onumonu is not agile and lethal enough for a Super Falcons CF. Gift Monday even looks more dangerous.
Burkina Faso have been playing kick and follow football all tournament. That was what they used in finishing Ivory Coast the other day. And so it has been working for them and Nigeria needs guard against that.
Congratulations to the Golden Eaglets. At least we have a crop of yougsters to follow their development.
That WAFU B U17 Competition is the toughest those boys can play cos the tournament is tougher than the group stages of the AFCON U17 and FIFA U17.
Thank God that CAF has developed sense by increasing the AFCON U17 to 12 teams and so two more slots were given to West Africa.
How more difficult can it be to battle for tickets against Ghana, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso at U17 level. I still see this as injustice because Nigeria along side those three nations are typically good enough to fly Africa's flag at the FIFA U17 WC with even two of these teams playing in the semis and Final.
In 1985: it was Nigeria and Guinea playing each other in the semis.
1987: Nigeria and Ivory Coast got to the semis while Nigeria played in the final
1993: Nigeria and Ghana played the final
2001: Nigeria and Burkina Faso played against each other in the Semis
2007: Nigeria and Ghana in the Semis and Nigeria played in the final
2015: Nigeria and Mali played the final.
West Africa is no doubt the Power house of U17 football as the Cup has come our way a total of 7 times (Nigeria: 5 and Ghana: 2) yet those clowns in CAF are restricting us with this their useless WAFU A, WAFU B Zoning formula.
Once again congratulations to the boys because they have done well for their future not just for Nigeria. Meanwhile I still dey wait to see who go call these kids over aged.
Good evening house. I know it's been a while I posted here. Na activities here and there plus that useless WCQ heartbreak. I still dey vex
TheSuperNerd: Naija U20 wins 2-1 AET. A highly tensed finish. CIV had a very good freekick chance close to the box which they squandered.
Nwosu made at least 2 top drawer saves today. What a wall he was today. Naija is going to the U20 Afcon proper and will play the Wafu b final vs Benin Republic.
