Ask any coach to pick between mbappe and nacho and 99.01% will go for mbappe. Only rohr will pick nacho.
I mean.....I'm Nigerian but damn, that comparison mehn... Or your mean 999.01% |

ChrisKels: So wetin concern him concern onyekuru and Kalu abi Kalu and onyekuru are also attacking midfielders that operate from the wing like Iwobi? Hahaha, you just dey fall your hand dey go. Is Iwobi not often played as a winger in the Super Eagles? So why would Eberechi Eze not be deployed as a winger too. You think an AM only plays the Central role abi? Now we know who the joker of the Century is. I can bet you've not even seen this Ebere Eze play

TheSuperNerd: I know their squad and players too but saying they are akin to Kano Pillars is being somewhat hyperbolic. Lol
They are not as formidable but still boast some fine and decent quality in Partey (Atletico madrid), Emmanuel Boateng (Levante) who scored hattrick against Barca and scored against Madrid too all last season, Raphael Dwamena (just joined Levante), The Ayew brothers, Jeffrey Schlupp (Crystal Palace), and a some others.
Come on Andrew, Ghana is not that bad. Andrew444 was just being sarcastic naa... |

ChrisKels: Ebere Eze and Etebo play in the same league, their respective teams have been losing but while Ebere has started and completed every match played by his team, Etebo has been a bench warmer that makes only cameo appearances, yet, Ebere was over looked for Etebo. This is the same thing Keshi did with Oduamadi and Isariemen Ebagua when both were playing for Brescia in the Serie B, while Ebagua was the goal king in the entire league, Oduamadi was finding it difficult to see game time talk more of scoring goals, yet Keshi was inviting Oduamadi instead of Ebagua for reason best known to him. So you would pick Eze ahead of Etebo. As if Etebo and Eze only started playing football in August 2018. Besides, Eze was not up against Etebo in terms of selection. Eze was was up against Onyekuru and Kalu. Not every player will get invitation bro. |

gamaliel9: On the list....I was hoping for some fresh faces since it is Seychelles [not underrating them].....on the other hand...i thought....perhaps he does not want to EXPERIMENT...he is WAITING FOR FRIENDLIES to invite most players we expect and some dual nationality players. We must understand that we have a very CONSERVATIVE coach given to mild tinkering...this was ONE OF THE REASONS they sacked him in Burkina Faso though he lead them well
Kalu and Jamilu[not Jamiu] are really the new faces..bar injury Onyekuru had been part of the team....and I THINK HE IS GOING TO BE NEW POSTER BOY. Oga, there are 4 ''fresh faces'' in that team. Were you expectim him to replace half of the team? |

TheSuperNerd: Okay I did some quick digging and the strangest name on that list is actually named "Jamilu" not Jamiu according to Transfermarkt... He is a left back in Bundesliga 2.
He's played 180 mins of Bundesliga 2 football and 90 mins in the DFB Pokal (German FA Cup). With him in the team, they have recorded two wins (one in league and one in cup) and a loss (in the league).
Here is his profile... With this kind of player making the list, it simply means contrary to what many think here the SE scouts are working. |

elyte89: As regards d quality of d players substituting d old guards, I feel rohr just want to av a closer look,2 or 3 players to redeem deir image,a person like ighalo and joel, from dere,he would begin his trial and substitute methods till we av something close to perfect he knows his first 11,
But y is Isaac success not in d team list Cc...sir chriskels Firstly I will say I am not surprised at the list. On Kelechi Nwakali, I think he grabbed the only opportunity he was given against Athletico Madrid. I think he did enough in that game to earn this recall, especially as Mikel has not been invited. On Ighalo, well, Rohr knows best. I for one would not have wished Rohr to called him back. Well, but it is the game against Seychelles. May be another opportunity to redeem his image. |

TheLoneCitizen: Let's equate your criterion in parity with Anthony and Fanendo.
In 2017, Anthony won the ISREALI Best player trophy, that is not outstanding I believe. He has scored 10+ goals in the last 3 seasons, that is not outstanding I believe. He has won the league consecutively, that is not outstanding, I believe.
Fanendo has scored 54 goals in 126 appearance. He has notched consecutive 16-goals seasons. He is one of the few players in the MLS who can be payed outside the normal wage cap. These feats are not outstanding I believe.
You've opened a new can of worms by stating we need proven players, brother, John Ogu, proven? Ola Aina, proven? Etebo proven? Mikel Agu, proven? No way.
When I stated Richarlison, I meant his stay at Fluminise, he was in no way outstanding but full of potential. Yes, Zaha was an outstanding player but Ndidi was in no way the best in his position at that time, his call to fame was the volley that won goal of the Belgian league season. Come is it not the same Anthony Nwakaeme that we invited to come jam body with Cameroon you are talking about? That guy had his chance against Algeria in Blida but he simply blew it away. |
