tbaba1234: No excuse for him to allow the player to pass so easily.. That was too poor That was a potential penalty in the waiting. The attacker had the ball very much between his legs. Any harsh tackle, he goes down and a penalty. |

barackodam: That's the main thing. He was rated highly. Like, he was going to waltz in and bench everyone in the team. E for better make dem make excuses for am that he was played out of position, but saying he played well? That's a lie.
At a point sef, in the Algerian box, I saw him gasping for breath pointing to the person wey wan throw to wait. I was like, ahn ahn?
It was very noticeable because Ebuehi might not have been excellent, but he did well. Kevin just went opposite
And some of us still came here to clap for him Yeah, I saw that moment too. And I was like now-now? Good we have secured him all the same. But remember how Balogun and Ekong also started. In fact Balogun even cost us a goal on his debut game. Well let's just hope Akpoguma settles well enough. |

Kog45: Boss na today you dey watch this game.
I don dey tell them here say those German boys would need to prove to us that they are better
Am always saying it that a fit Balogun is better than any of our CB.I never rate Ekong but Rohr rate him dearly.
Akpoguma would be good addition to eagles so we can really say much of him now but fact still remains he is average CB just like Udohkahi
The real deal for eagles is Torunarigha,Iorfa and Adarabioyo.
My opinion I am not much of a follower of the Bundesliga and I have not watched so many of Akpoguma's games. Truly, he was highly rated here. Truth be told, his performance was below expectations. However, this is his first game, I hope he has what it takes to settle down fast enough. |

The team started poorly(Typical of this team). And Algeria did their homework on that and capitalized on it well. Except for the shaky start, and early goal, the defense did creditably well. Balogun was my man of the match. The duo of Ekong and Ajayi also did ok. Sanusi did creditably well. Is he better than Aina? Too early to call, but now we know we have an extra man there. Ebuehi looked match rusty as he was mostly on the back foot against the Algerian number 20. Plus his crosses were poor. Akpoguma, looked overwhelmed. Looked like he had stage fright Our Midfield was the weakest link, especially in the first half. Mikel Agu looked an improved player. Frank Onyeka did just fairly well in the first half, for a debutant but we really missed an Ndidi. Most of Iwobi's passes were not actually the best but his work rate was awesome. Samson Tijani Showed some little sparks of promise. Chukwueze was our greatest threat going forward in the first half. Samuel Kalu was not his usual self, wasting chances all over. Simon brought in more pace and direct play but Musa looked like a player on the verge of retirement. Onuachu, due to lack of good balls from the midfield struggled to make impact. Chances were few for him. Iheanacho came in an added more sense of urgency in the attack but the Algerian defense did a good job on him. Maduka Okoye, started shaky, but improved as the game progressed. We lost but there are some take homes from this game. Remember we played against the African champions. We look forward to the Tunisia game. |

forgiveness: Is there any problem with that if they are better than what we have at home?
What do you have to say about the French team full of foreigners? Oga, this is a different case. 95% of the French national team players are groomed in France. We should also groom players in Nigeria. Football development is what we are talking about. I don't have any problems with foreign groom players, but we should also groom players locally for foreign export and for the national team. |

It is mostly the Yahoo boys that are protesting. I will rathar encounter one hundred SARS on the road than one gang of Armed Robbers. |

Though those guy's have grown wings, but reformation and close monitoring is what we all want NO END SARS God bless you. This has been my campaign all day. Reform SARS and not End SARS. |

smartsmith0907: Individual quality yes I agree but when it comes of team sprit I disagree football has evolve individual quality take a cue from Aston villa the whole of Liverpool is 5 times better than them yet they showed them pepper las las nah 90 minute go judge at all nah hin bad pass. Bros, individually and collectively as a team, we cannot measure up with that England team. |

Danielnino00: I don't think we would have lost the match 2-1 if Rohr had started with the right team in the first half.. We are so terrible and clueless in the first half until we switched to a better formation in the second half... We could have easily gone 4 or 5:0 down in that first half. |

Subzero047: If Akpoguma is our best defender in camp imagine when Uduokhai and Torunarigha will come in We are drifting towards a period when all Nigerian starting 11 would be foreign born. The NFF really needs to step up and boost football development at the local level. |

smartsmith0907: I was watching the match before there is no really big deal about England as a matter of fact there are overhyped I see Nigeria beating them in a friendly match southgate is too clueless for my likely they can't even break ordinary wales defense wale that Naija team B go show them pepper Calvert header was top notch by the way. This was what we thought before facing England during the Pre-2018 WC friendlies. It was God that helped us that we only lost 2:1. |

mostob: That is why the subs are like for like sir. They have different attributes which can be used to alter the tactical setup if there is a need for that. Let's just say i 'm killing many birds with one stone. I am not sure my explanation might make sense o as it is obvious your coaching and managing skills are top notch sir. Now, you can see you are explaining your tactics. That's just all I want to know. |

mostob: How sir? You say the match is a must win, you want to test the abilities of the players and you don't intend to alter the tactical setup of the team through out the game. You don't see this as a contradicting statement? What if you find yourself chasing the game, and your original set up is not working for you? And it is a game you must win like you put it. |
