IDENNAA: No , but you guys make it sounded like he is the alpha and omega of Leicester and without him the side will crumble. Also, I never said he will not play his way back but perchance in his absence another players assume the role and sort added more quality then your boy will sit down because he isn't Messi. Well, I am not one of those that opined that Ndidi is the alpha and omega of the team. But what I am saying is that based on his qualities, coming back into the team would not be as difficult as you guys are trying to paint it. I am a positive thinking person. And so I chose to remain positive in this case. |

Danielnino00: Leave that guy and his talk.
Ndidi will be back in Leicester starting eleven when he is fit! No be the same Rodgers rush am last time? That is it. |

IDENNAA: We know what is eased in means but you don't "ease in" when your position has been filled...does it take a genius to understand that ? Has there ever been a situation where a position is left unfilled? A player will definitely have to fill that space. I don't think there has ever been any player that has never been left out of a team due to injury. It is only normal for a player returning from injury to be eased in. I don't know why all this talks about Ndidi not getting back his starting position. The Ndidi that I know, with the quality he posseses, will play his way back into the starting line up. |

IDENNAA: Did you say "eased in"? Not when you have a flying side with a midfield that's is not just about tackles and blocks. You don't understand the "eased in" here? Ok, let me use another word: Gradually introduced. |

komekn: I absolutely agree with you.
But a note of caution, other players will be upping thier game to claim your position. This is football. Yes, definitely. But like I said, for a player of Ndidi's quality, we should expect him to work his way back as quickly as possible. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 6:13pm On Sep 27, 2020 |
komekn: This could be a big problem for Ndidi.
Don't know how long Ndidi will be out for but speculation is at least 6/8 weeks. That means he will have to fight to claim his position back.
Add to that Rogers had played him as a CB, nonetheless, this is the nature of football. I do see Ndidi claiming his position but he will have to UP his game.
Vardy is looking injured why have they not called in KC, why ❓
Oh my goodness Maddison has just scored a SCREAMER. Chairman, I don't see any problem here. When Ndidi returns, it is only expected that he would be gradually eased in. And for a player of such quality I expect him to find back his footing in not too distant a time. |

You see U17 coaches still barking instructions at the boys despite all the team talks. At that level the kids easily get carried away so the coaches need to keep shouting at them |

daveP: Im not so sure about this, but the fact that they aren't high in demand is what i hinge my opinion on. After many many years. And if they actually are, we'd simply hear about it regularly. I might be proven wrong, but that's my stance. Well, I wish you really know what coaching is all about especially at Youth stage. For those age grade categories you don't need coaches who are "In high demand"(or whatever description you give it). Scouting and coaching players at cadet level is different from Coaching at Senior level, be it Club or country. Why do you think most if not all our former youth coaches have never done well when they coach the Super Eagles? They are two different ball games. We have certain coaches that specialize in coaching at Youth level. In Nigeria some of them also coach NPFL teams just to keep going. Likewise ask Rohr to assemble for us our next U17 team and watch how he will fail woefully. I know a lot of peeps were hoping to see likes Finidi George and or Joseph Yobo on the list of our new Youth coaches. For those ones, time will tell. Coaches Bosso and Amao are no new comers to coaching at youth level. Let's give them this chance. |

tbaba1234: Ladan Bosso and Fatai Amoo as coaches in the year 2020.
Do we not have competent people to take over at this level? Well, these two lads are not new to our youths system especially Ladan Bosso. I think the NFF have, this time around, chosen to stick with those they know already. Another opportunity for our locally based coaches to prove their worth. Let's see how it goes. |

Well, for me, it is a fair list considering that it is for the two friendlies.
Good also to note that the new invitees are mostly young players. Way to go for Sustainability.
On Samson Tijani, well, it may seem too early for his invite but I must also say that Tijani is a huge potential. His style of play at that U17 was ahead of his age. Well I am not too surprised about his invite. Rohr knows best.
Some have complained about Azeez being put on standby rather than making the main squad. This is just a friendly. Some older players had to be put aside so as to able to accommodate the new invites. Azeez will likely make the AFCON qualifiers squad.
For the Goalies section, hmmm......I don't see Okoye as much of a good goalie. A Chance for Alampasu to prove his worth. Yakubu also has a chance if he can live up to expectations. |
