goldfish80: I'm not surprised. We know ourselves on this thread
The centre stage was already set with TheGoodJoe, Safarigirl and thesupernerd taking sides with Iheanacho, very predictable lineup. iI think the three of them are friends in real life
micheal2, chrisoblog and edi holding the front for Kylian Lottini. Imagine, I would have been on the same page as Micheal2, what a scary thought.
Icon4s as usual will be a bystander in this sort of debate ( he sounds like a politician sometimes)
Komekn would have given the argument an English/European perspective.
Tbaba1234 will offer a global perspective while being careful not to hurt the feelings of the Iheanacho team.
BascoVanVeli, this one is like weather. He could swing to any side at any moment.
This thread is like a clown bus. With all the characters well represented. Hahahaha, i chose to be a bystander in this argument. As you guys know already, I don't rate young players that highly. So I don't go mcuh into debates on issues concerning young players. A good number of them(most infact) end up not measuring up to expectations. There are certain arguments about young players that I engage in. Not this type. Talking about being a politician, that's funny to me. I think people who have been long here enough already know my stand as per choice of players or players selection. Me i no dey look face to tell anybody here how I feel about him or her. Forgiveness and Komekn know me for that. |

TheSuperNerd: Rohr Drops Four Players, Ogu, Victor Moses, Omeruo,Akpeyi, Ideye & Onazi Return
https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/IMG_2986.jpg
As many as four players presently in the camp of the Super Eagles in France are set to be axed from the team when the list for the AFCON 2017 Qualifiers game against South Africa is released.
Owngoalnigeria.com sources reveal coach Gernot Rohr will drop the players after the game against Togo on the 1st of June, with their spot set to be taken by players excused from the training camp in France.
Presently 19 players are in the camp of the team but the number will be whittled down to 15 with six players or probably seven joining the team next month when preparations for the June 10 clash against South Africa hots up.
For now the players who are likely to be axed have not been released by the coach but six players are set to be recalled to the squad according to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com correspondent.
Victor Moses, John Ogu, Ogenyi Onazi, Daniel Akpeyi , Kenneth Omeruo and Brown Ideye are all expected to be handed recall to the team, while Moses Simon is also heavily under consideration.

Bishops10: Icon4s please sir, I want to choose a career in Chemical Engineering. How do you see the field?.. Will there be job opportunities upon graduation aside the oil sector even without Msc Chemical engineering is good. Aside the oil industry (exploration and Production) they work in Breweries, Paint industry, Petrochemicals, Refineries, and co. However you have to work very hard and graduate with a good grade. By good grade I mean a minimum of 2nd Class Upper. It makes job hunting easier even without an M.Sc. |

joseph1013: I would not have said Kelechi is better this season o. Mbappe has played more and has clearly set the French league and CL on fire. He's gotten more opportunities and has taken his chances. He's been the best teenager in the world this season. Mark this, he would be on the shortlist for the FIFA player of the year. Shows how much he has performed this season.
I believe Kelechi would have continued his progression if Pellegrini had stayed and then it would have provided a more level field to compare him with Mbappe. And even right now, I'm fearful of what might happen to him at West Ham. Pep has stunted his plays. I don't trust Bilic. What's his antecedents in developing young players? Hmm.. true analysis. |

TheGoodJoe: I am not talking of support cast. I am talking about the strength of the competition. You can not compare the strength of the defending in the EPL to that of Ligue 1.
Look at how Ajax played Ludo with Lyon and yet found it difficult to muster a good shot on target against Manchester United. The EPL even annoys me with the deep emphasis in defending.
Mbappe's major impact is not Champions League but Ligue 1. Congratulations! you deserve an award. Page 1000 opener. |

Mickael2: you mean like Zaha was eating grass? Nawa o. This your assumption that African games are tough is downright ridiculous, why then did a European team win the World Cup on African soil? They for gas out na, Cameroon for win that tourney safarigirl's points on this are very valid. Africa especially sub-Saharan Africa is a difficult place to play. Aside the high humidity and hot temperature issues, we have one of the worst football pitches in the world. They humiliate their opponents right from the airports to the hotels, practice pitches and more still match venues. It requires a player with tough mental strength not to feel dehumanized. Also the tackles are hard combined with the bad pitches. A lot is wrong with football in this part of the world. 2010 WC was played under Winter conditions in SA and the rest of the Southern hemisphere. SA provided the world with world class pitches. So the best team had to win. |

safarigirl: Mbappe will gas out thirty minutes in, and will come off without a goal because the skelemba boys will ensure he won't even see the ball.
Iheanacho will at least drag ball with same boys until he scores or gives someone else to score. You think African football is about fancy footwork?
Mbappe will eat grass against SA.
The 60-65 mins Iwobi lasted against Senegal, na just God put am through, else, that pikin for faint for there, and that was just a friendly. Now, if that was a competitive match, na stretcher dem for use carry am comot from field You know all these. So why did you crucify Siasia for not starting Iwobi and Iheanacho against Egypt in Alexandria? |
