How Super Eagles Lined Up In Training Session – Crotone Simy Scores Spectacular Goal May 24, 2018013
Ahead of their upcoming friendly game against Congo DR in Port Hacourt, the senior national team of Nigeria had their second training session witnessed by Owngoalnigeria.com.
As usual the team were shared into two different teams by coach of the team Gernot Rohr after the traditional warming up, light exercises and shooting drills.
Rohr lined the team up in a way which suggest he is already building the team for the Congo DR friendly as most of the regular players were lined up in one team, while the rest who are trying to win a spot were lined up in a separate team.
The highlight of the one hour training session game saw newly invited Crotone forward Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo open scoring in a spectacular fashion with a lob over the head of goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

No football strategy/tactic if fool-proof. The other teams would eventually figure it out: the Ajax team of the late 90s; the Barca team under Gurdiola; the Chelsea team of last season ... you name, your opponent eventually figures you out. Hence, the key is to remain dynamic and keep changing tactics on the fly. O pari mank1234: Did they win the trophy? If the strategy failed twice with the calibre of players in that team then the strategy is not fool-proof. Just imagine if ball gets behind the 6 displaced players. |

According to him, sell Aaron Ramsey too while they keep Kolasinac. Useless pundits But I will actually like Iwobi to leave if the right offer comes along. I don't expect him to get as much playing time with Unai Emery incharge. He's a spineless coach, so expect senior players like Mesut Ozil to start running the show and deciding who plays or sits. O pari Martz101: keep wilshere and welbeck but sell iwobi and ozil...wetin this man smoke? |

Haha!! egbon forgiveness, actually, that would be difficult since I actually don't promote any player, per se. I mean, I have defended players like Tyronne Ebuehi against unfair criticism but I don't see that as promoting him a la the way you do with Kayode Having said that, I am Igbo but that hasn't stopped me from being the biggest critics of players like Elderson Echiejile, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, and even John Ogu ... to mention but a few. When it comes to naija footie, I am the MOST detribalized Nigeria believe me. O pari forgiveness: Hahahahahah! Look at this one! Pot calling kettle black. Oya! Abeg, helep me ask them o. This is just a fan forum, guys. Whatever we say here has absolutely NO bearing on what tactics the coaches chose to adopt or on the players the coaches decide to invite. You can scream Kayode and Alampasu's name all day on Nairaland forum, that wouldn't make any coach worth his onions to invite or not invite him. That's why I don't take anything we do/say here serious ... we don't make the calls. O pari Mujtahida: When did Rohr settle on the 3-5-2 tactics? Don't mind them. They told us that Pep was winning with Barcelona because La Liga was a two team league; forgetting that if either one of Athletico Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia, or Villareal were in the EPL, they would be competing for the title every year.. Funny enough, Pep just turned the EPL into a one team leagu Anyway, the good news is, those who understand the game actually know better. Take for instance, when Jurgen Klopp wanted to "bond with his Liverpool team" (aka show them how to play the game the right way), he took them to Spain to Watch FC Barcelona! Well, not necessarily. Frankly, I am surprise that some of you guys really didn't see the quality of Samadi and the Nwakali brothers. I don't know the names of all the players, but those 3 guys played well yesterday and showed flashes of brilliance. It's time we stop basing the opinions of our players SOLELY on the basis of how they perform in Europe. Some of our players found themselves in bad situations where they at are not given opportunities to perform. Kelechi Iheanacho has shown us all what can happen when our boys are given a chance to show their stuff. When some of us were screaming our heads off that Kelechi was unfairly being blacklisted at Leicester City in favor of lesser talents like Demary Gray, Albrighton, and Shanji Ozizaki, some folks accused us of crying wolf. Well, wind don blow on that issue and we don see chicken nyash. Now we all know that chicken dey get nyash O pari o Icon4s: Because they scored yesterday? |

The way you guys selectively use stats in this forum is, sometimes, really ridiculous Now, let me turn that same question around to you: How many EPL clubs were in the last 16 of the Champions league last year and how many Bundesliga clubs? What about two years ago?? And three years ago nko And while at it, please do tell us how many EPL teams started the UCL in each of those years vis-à-vis Bundesliga. That would help us understand, percentagewise, how each league did. Please let's take it easy with all these deceptive selective use of data. O pari O pari komekn: What do you define hype. In my opinion it is the misrepresentation of facts and the exaggeration of attributes.
The Bundesliga is a literary a one club league where Bayern Munich win everything. True or false.
UEFA rate the EPL the second best in Europe and the Bundesliga fourth, FACT.
How many EPL clubs were in the last 16 of the Champions league and how many Bundesliga clubs
These are the facts stop being emotive and sentimental in the negative against the EPL. The facts are there for all to see. |
